GGuest UserChoosing this hotel for our Xi'an trip was definitely the right decision! Yunhe Yebo Bell and Drum Tower South Store is in an absolutely prime downtown location. We were just a few minutes' walk from enjoying the stunning night view of the Bell and Drum Tower, and there are tons of authentic Xi'an snacks right around the corner, making breakfast super convenient. The metro station is also very close, so getting to the North Station, airport, or Terracotta Warriors was a breeze.
The room itself was clean and odorless, with plenty of space. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent – we had a wonderfully quiet night's sleep despite being in the heart of the city. The bathroom was spotless with a great wet/dry separation, and we had stable hot water and fast Wi-Fi. Strawberry and Taiyang (Sun) at the front desk were incredibly warm and patient. Check-in and check-out were efficient, and they proactively shared local travel routes and tips to avoid tourist traps, which was a really thoughtful touch. All the facilities were well-maintained, and the price was fantastic, offering excellent value for money. Our family had a comfortable and worry-free stay. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Xi'an!

GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay here. The facilities were clean and the staff were friendly and wore traditional Tang Dynasty clothing inside the hotel. They also offered buggy services to the restaurant that served breakfast and gave us an emperor’s pass for free admission into Huaqing Palace. The hot bath in the room was very nice. They also offered free desserts at night and stocked our rooms with drinks and fruits every morning. They also offered a freeTang Dynasty photoshoot in the style of the famous Yang Guifei.
The only complaint I have is that I didn’t know how to use the AC. When the AC was set to auto with the snowflake icon, the room temperature went down below the set temperature, and with the sun icon and auto it went above the set temperature. With just the fan set to auto the room could not cool down.

MM423333****Very close to the subway and surprisingly quiet, with a cool retro decor. It was super convenient for getting around.
You absolutely HAVE to try the rice noodles for breakfast! I ate them for three days straight, haha. They come with a stir-fried meat sauce that's incredibly delicious.
The aunties and the front desk staff were all so thoughtful and accommodating. They helped with everything I asked for, even printing dozens of pages of my contract!
**Double Indulgence Afternoon Tea Buffet**: Highly recommended, with fruits, pastries, and coffee.

VValarie474This covers the second half of a longer 12 nights stay split across two bookings. My first review covered the first seven nights, which were excellent, so this is about what changed at the end.
My last night fell apart. I'm somewhat tolerant of noise, so this isn't a light-sleeper complaint: someone checked into the room above and from late evening until after 2:30am it was nonstop heavy stomping, furniture dragging, banging, jumping, running, and actual screaming, sometimes sprinting in place like they were trying to come through the ceiling. I didn't call right away because I figured they'd settle down at bedtime, but the intensity only increased after midnight. It didn't let up until after 2:30am, and I had an early start.
The real problem was that I couldn't get help. The listing doesn't promise English-speaking staff, but trip.com is the foreigner-friendly platform, so I'd assumed there'd be some overnight path to assistance. There wasn't. The front desk could only tell me ”don't speak English,” and when I escalated to trip.com around 2:30am, even they couldn't reach anyone. Being stuck with no way to call for help in the middle of the night was the one thing that genuinely soured the stay.
Otherwise the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, even coming up to my room to help track down a misdelivered order, which there were a couple of these. One heads-up: the hotel's registered address in Alipay doesn't match its name, so deliveries WILL go astray.
I'd happily return, but only with a top-floor room to avoid the overhead-noise problem.

GGuest UserThis hotel is said to be the only one of its kind in Xi'an, and one of only two in Asia. I decided to give it a try for one night, and overall, I had a good experience. First, the environment: it's located in the former People's Mansion, within its own large courtyard, providing a quiet retreat from the bustling city. There's even a fountain downstairs. The hotel's designer is Chinese, but it boasts a French style. It was originally built during the Soviet aid era to host Soviet experts, so it likely incorporates elements from Chinese, French, and Russian cultures. About 90% of the guests are foreigners, possibly French, though I couldn't really tell. The room decor is quite elegant, not modern. The facilities and amenities are good, but some furniture and the floor show obvious signs of wear. The staff are all young and provide excellent, smiling service. Breakfast was just so-so; it seems more geared towards foreigners. For Chinese guests, the variety is quite limited, and it pales in comparison to the breakfasts at InterContinental, Four Seasons, and especially the Ritz-Carlton. But then again, each hotel has its own unique characteristics. All in all, it's a hotel worth staying at!

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at an Ibis hotel, and what impressed me most was how clean and tidy everything was. Although the bathroom was a bit small, it was spotless. The room didn't have a shower cap, but you could pick one up at the front desk. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept really well. Hot water came quickly. The shower head and breakfast weren't particularly great, but the overall cleanliness and tidiness more than made up for these minor shortcomings. The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic and friendly, even giving out small gifts.

GGuest UserThe entire hotel's aesthetic perfectly matched my taste; every corner was picture-perfect. It's an oasis of calm in the midst of the hustle and bustle, incredibly peaceful within the busy city. Room service for breakfast was excellent 🍞. Getting around for food and sightseeing was a breeze, no need for constant taxis. The whole experience was comfortable and relaxing. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Xi'an.

GGuest UserThis hotel offers incredible value for money. The price is budget-friendly, but the quality is top-notch. The room size is just right, the layout is neat, and the lighting creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a short stay. The hygiene standards are very high; the sheets and duvet covers were freshly changed, with no strange smells or dust. Hot water comes quickly, and the water pressure is stable, making the bathroom experience very pleasant. The staff are always available when needed, and the front desk staff, Nini and Xiao He, were enthusiastic and attentive without being perfunctory. The overall experience far exceeds other hotels in the same price range.

HH2O_cfMy stay is on the 15th floor with a mini window and a very comfortable bed. They have separate wash from for bath and toilet , while the wash place is outside the toilet. Check out time given was up to 2pm. Convenient and near to metro station within 5 minute walk. Just the floor is an old style make it feel dirty but is clean .
