The weighing scale was badly rusted, and the toilet seat had extensive yellow staining (I can't even describe the color, it was so gross I didn't want to take a picture). But the worst part was that the bedding had old bloodstains and six or seven small holes... I don't understand how a 5-star resort can have such poor quality control. Many details at the spa were also much worse than in Thailand... Seriously avoid this place if you're traveling with friends or family.

This is probably the only place in Mui Ne with five-star service. The beach is also quite clean, and the staff are incredibly responsive to every request. However, there are fewer entertainment activities, so it's perfect for just relaxing and doing nothing, haha.

The resort isn't huge, but the one-bedroom pool villa rooms are excellent, and the service is incredibly attentive. Basic five-star services like luggage assistance upon arrival/departure, turn-down service, and immediate room cleaning after guests leave are all impeccably handled. The bedding is spotless. The hotel beach is clean, and the hotel's location is also quite good.

The service here was truly excellent 👍. We got welcome drinks and a complimentary massage during check-in. Our butler, Hong, was warm and professional! The location is also quite good, and the whole vibe is pretty chill. However, for one of Mui Ne's two best hotels, I found the room facilities a bit dated, and it might not be great value for money during peak season. Even if domestic hotels in China are a lower tier or price point than those in Vietnam, their toothbrushes, combs, razors, hairdryers, bedding, and towels are much better quality. China's manufacturing of these items is truly excellent and inexpensive. While Vietnam's processing industry is booming, it still has a ways to go. Perhaps it's because I didn't book a villa (since I was only staying one night). Compared to the pool villa I stayed in for two nights at Centara, I still prefer Centara's villa types. But Anantara's service is better and more personalized; Centara had too many kids and was too noisy, and the English proficiency wasn't as good as at Anantara.

Amazing! This resort is truly beautiful and definitely top-tier in Mui Ne. It boasts stunning scenery and its own private beach. Check-in felt very special; they even ring a gong, which adds a nice touch. Our staff member, Hang, was incredibly friendly, and the welcome dragon fruit tea was delicious. The complimentary snacks left during turndown service every evening were also tasty. Breakfast was rich and impressive. We booked a Hanh Cafe bus for our departure, and the hotel was great about helping us contact the bus company for pickup, which was very helpful.

Overall, it was good, but the room design was a bit impractical. There was no power outlet near the coffee machine. I looked around and found one under the tea table, close to the floor. The cords of most small appliances wouldn't reach it, and it's impossible to crawl behind the table to plug things in. I don't understand why it was designed that way...

I arrived in Mui Ne to celebrate Tet/Chinese New Year, having first gotten a room at the Anam Mui Ne just a few minutes drive away. Due to the festival rush, they had no rooms after a few days and I had to move out to the Anantera Mui Ne. Both hotels were at similar price points, but the entire service approach was very different. For the entire time at the Anam, I could choose what to spend and where to eat, and there were even discounts on the spa treatments. At the Anantera, I was told that I had to sign up for a mandatory New Year gala dinner on the 31st which cost almost US$70. To be sure, that is the normal price for a dinner buffet, but the main thing is guests were not given a choice. As long as you stayed on that day, you would need to foot the bill. Later, I found the room unsatisfactory. There was a blockage of the shower drainage, causing the water to accumulate and not recede even after overnight, plus an unpleasant smell that originated from the shower area. The sofas had stains. However, the biggest problem was that the king bed was not a true king bed, being combined with two smaller beds and leading to serious lack of back support. When I asked to cut short my stay from 3 nights to 2 nights, I was told that I would not be refunded. Most reprehensive for me, the hotel staff that I spoke with kept passing the buck around when I asked who could authorize the refund. When Trip.com tried to help and asked the hotel staff, they constantly lied about the situation, saying to Trip.com that I agreed to waive my refund and/or I was being upgraded to a villa, when nothing of that sort happened and both suggestions were obviously mutually contradictory. Ultimately I decided my physical and mental health was more important and I went back to the Anam Mui Ne after securing a room, losing a very expensive one night's stay at the Anantera on top of the compulsory dinner. Maybe it was the Tet festival which led to B Team handling this, but someone really dropped the ball. This was a two three star experience at best.

I stayed at ANANTARA Mui Ne from July 30 to 31 and was very disappointed. There were ants in the room, which made my stay very uncomfortable. I had a pleasant two-night stay at the resort. The rooms were spacious and clean, although I did find a some ants on the desk. The bathroom design could be improved, as it tended to get a bit wet after bathing, creating some inconvenience. Each night, the resort surprised us with local sweet treats, which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly and charming. Personally, I wasn't a fan of the resort's design; the overgrown trees made it feel a bit gloomy, and there seemed to be a lot of insects and mosquitoes around. The swimming pool was large and warm, making it enjoyable for swimming, and the beach was well-maintained. Breakfast offered a good variety, and I particularly enjoyed the smoothies and butter. However, breakfast service ended at 10:30, and when I arrived around 9:00, there was less food available than before. I liked the crème brûlée, but it wasn’t refilled afterwards. Additionally, the staff didn’t seem very attentive during this time; I had to remind them to clear my stack of plates so I could continue eating. Aside from that, the service was generally quite good. I might consider returning if I visit Mui Ne again.

Anantara is a small piece of paradise in MuiNe. The hotel resort is well prepared to take tourists from all over the world, relaxing is a must. As soon as you arrive while waiting you are welcome with a relaxing massage and wonderful staff helps you around. If you are visiting MuiNe, Anantara is the right place for you, wonderful breakfast options, clean beach and warm cozy rooms.
