"Excellent service from the moment you step into the hotel, where you're greeted by very professional staff. The room was impeccably clean and had everything you need for your stay. The location is perfect, right in the center of Reading and just a few steps from the train station. You have shops and the museum right next door."

"Location- was walkable from station, town centre, Oracle shopping centre which has Vue and Bowling Service- Staff were very friendly. Toni, Nicola, Daniel- were fab. They helped me store my special medication. They have facility for keeping luggage after checkout which was very helpful Amenities- Swimming pool, steam, sauna, gym onsite with full access with room booking. Towels available at no extra cost at the facilities. The showers were broken/ no hot water. So we used room showers for bath after using the these services. Room- was beautiful and clean with lovely large screen smart tele. There was a locker and small mini fridge in the room with tea/coffe bar, iron with iron board, hair dryer. They also provide tap water from front desk for tea etc. There was a bath and shower both! The toilet and bath did not have locks- but I was in with my kids- so worked fine. One bedside light switch was broken- but didn’t need to use this. The room temp was rather warm- front seat kindly lent us a big table fan- which was very helpful. They have bar and restaurant- we didn’t need to use these. The"

"Really nice place, easy access everywhere and super friendly staff. The pool was great and the steak was amazing, the views were beautiful and the cozy room was needed for this weekend. Would stay for longer next time and would 100% go for weekend trips again. Really lovely."

"The hotel is approx 7 mins from the nearest reading station. It is near to Oxford and Bicester village and if you planning for a visit to either those place, worth to stay. There are plenty of shops and eateries around and there’s a Tesco express which make our stay convenient. There’s only 1 point, the hotel is without lift, if you have big luggage, and you will need to bring that up to the room yourself."

"Hi we just wanted a hotel within close distance of Reading town centre on a budget. It had all that we needed but could have done with air con. The staff were very accommodating and listened to any needs of customers."

"Very good in terms of location, A nice little walk to the centre but far enough out that you don’t really get the noise of the late night drinkers (sat/friday). The room was a decent size for what we paid, nice shower and bathroom small but good for the money we paid. However, the room was really really hot. We had to sleep with both windows open, AC didn’t work at all. The TV has all the normal channels and it worked perfectly. The coffee machine area downstairs was helpful however they didnt give us any cups, put any available out for people to grab or tell us that they even had any. No tea bags or little things of milk which would have been helpful. The machine does make tea however we both werent sure how useful/good it would have been. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a cheap stay in reading."

"The hotel is in a good location, convenient to travel, and there are subways and shopping malls nearby. The rooms are clean and tidy, warmly furnished and well equipped. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home, and will choose to stay next time."

"Spacious rooms with good amenities within historically beautiful buildings with sympathetic extensions. Massive car park and quite rooms. Very responsive and interactive staff ensuring a positive experience at anytime (we arrived at 10:30 pm). In house breakfast has superior taste and the Chef has excellent mastery of the Classic English Breakfast."

"Attended a wedding locally so stayed for one night. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful with booking taxis. The room was clean. Plenty of parking with easy to pay options in the hotel."
