Amazing
JJay ChiangGood location, very welcoming and helpful staff. The only concern is that the place is under the railway, so there will be the noise of the train every few minutes. The quality of the facility is impressive. Toilets and dining areas are clean and well-maintained. Breakfast is descent though without too many options. Overall given the price, the hostel is definitely a great value for the money you spend.

GGuest UserHotel room was the smallest during my entire trip in Europe, toilet was cramped with not much areas to put/hang your shower amenities. The shower area was like a pod which was extremely tight even for asians like me. Could barely raise both arms together without hitting the glass when trying to wash hair. The shower head angle was also terrible as it's pointed at the gap of the shower pod glass (which doesn't close entirely) and kept flowing outside of the pod because it was THAT small.
Booked it for the convenient location but don't expect much from the room size. The shower experience was extremely unpleasant for me and looked nothing like the photos.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located on the shore of Lake Geneva, about 10 minutes walk from the train station. The train station can be reached by bus at 4 stops, which is very convenient. The hotel is French and elegant, with many antique vase paintings placed inside.

AAndrew GwynHotel is in a great location in Montreux. A short walk from the train station and right on lake Geneva. Rooms were clean and very good. Amenities throughout the hotel, also very good. Nice touches with random boxes of sweets, next to the complimentary coffee machine in the foyer. Sweets always make people smile, no matter how old you are. I noticed the staff on the reception desk managing some very obnoxious and basically rude customers. So hats off to them as they remained very polite. My only grip about my visit was that our room was on the lowest level. I paid for a lake view believing I'd get a view of the lake as far as my eyes could see (as in the hotels online pictures). I don't think I can really complain, as I could see the lake between the various trees and shrubs, but not as I was expecting. Is that a lake view?

AArnaud Jean François Anata FALLEVOZA great location as long as your room is a lake view one, otherwise the street side is extremely noisy with poor window isolation.
The team and service are really nice, and the terrasse moment offers an astonishing view.
One improvement if I may - change the bed pillows - really poor quality and hard to get asleep with.

GGuest UserThe room is not big or small, and the single room is quite comfortable for one person. There are many windows and the scenery outside the small window is also good. When checking in, Miss Sister also sent a glass of wine, which was very ritual. It was very tired when looking for a hotel, because it was a climb, but it was very easy from the hotel to the pier (downhill), and it was also very good to walk all the way to the lake, and enjoy the scenery along the lake to the pier. The uncle who checked out the next morning was also enthusiastic. In addition to the price is a bit high, it is a good choice.

JJOCELYNCI honestly don’t know how to write this review because I booked Villa Toscane and was told to stay at the hotel opposite (Royal Plaza) because Villa Toscane is closed during off seasons (i.e. only opened during summer lolll). But I guess it is an upgrade because Royal Plaza is a 5 star hotel haha

“I stayed here after the Montreux Jazz Festival. With the Montreux Riviera Card provided to hotel guests, public transportation between Montreux and Vevey was free, which was very convenient. The hotel staff member, Frédéric, gave me a very warm welcome and kindly accommodated my request for an early check-in, which I had arranged by phone in advance. When I unfortunately sprained my ankle, he even lent me crutches and provided information about a nearby hospital, which was extremely helpful and much appreciated. The room was spotless and well-maintained, and although compact, it was very comfortable. Breakfast was delightful, with delicious croissants, seasonal fruits, ham and cheese, yogurt, and a selection of drinks. I was very satisfied. I would definitely love to stay here again when I return for the Montreux Jazz Festival.”
