The hotel is located in a central area of Shanghai. The room was very spacious with beautiful views from the window. Both the facilities and service were absolutely top-notch – truly a great choice! The check-in process was very efficient. I'd especially like to commend Leon and Echo; they were extremely polite and friendly, making the check-in smooth and quick. The breakfast selection was extensive, with plenty of fruits and nuts, all my favorites. We're here to celebrate my birthday. We got upgraded to 60th F and the view is amazing. the service overall is great even the porters are friendly. the only complain I have is the drain in the shower room is slow. Guess they were trying to fix it.

My family had US visa interviews scheduled at Meilong Town Plaza, so we chose to stay at The St. Regis Shanghai Jing'an for its proximity. It's only about a 300-meter walk, which was incredibly convenient. Moreover, the hotel's location is excellent, right in the bustling Nanjing West Road commercial area. The hotel's interior design is grand and elegant, with impeccable attention to detail. Our room, which maintained the same luxurious and elegant style, felt very high-quality. We were assigned a room facing Pudong, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline. The service was truly exceptional. The staff members were professional and exceptionally courteous. In addition to breakfast, our stay included a complimentary semi-buffet lunch for two. Furthermore, parking during our stay was complimentary; we simply had to contact the concierge desk before check-out to have the fees waived.

I'd seen quite a few less-than-favorable reviews for The St. Regis Jing'an online, so I really didn't have high hopes. However, my actual stay far exceeded my expectations. The service was exceptional, from the front desk staff to the butler and even in the lounge. The hotel is also very close to various attractions, making it ideal for a city walk. Finally, I have a minor suggestion: it would be great if the complimentary in-room amenities were a bit more comprehensive. For instance, providing two sets of dental floss and making razors a standard inclusion would prevent staff from needing to make multiple trips to deliver these items.

The room offered a pretty good view of the city skyline. However, the amenities weren't very manicure-friendly. The mini-fridge drawer was incredibly difficult to open. I don't get why they opted for a pull-out drawer with a recessed metal catch instead of a proper, protruding handle. I was genuinely worried I'd chip my nails trying to open it! 😭 Overall, the service was pretty good, and the staff were generally polite. However, perhaps due to the Qixi Festival, the butler was consistently slow to respond to messages. I don't expect an instant reply, especially knowing it was a busy period, but waiting ten minutes for a response is a bit much. I had already called a car, completed my check-out, and was even in the car on my way out before I finally received your reply. Only to receive a casual "Sorry, I was busy" as a reply. 😡 Even my colleagues wouldn't take that long to get back to me. Oh, and to top it all off, the concierge couldn't find my luggage on the first day!

What a wonderful stay! From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were impressed by the warm welcome from the bellhop and the speedy check-in process at the front desk. We had mentioned our daughter's birthday in advance, and the hotel went above and beyond by thoughtfully decorating her room and arranging a birthday cake and a fruit platter. It was such a lovely and considerate touch! We're incredibly grateful. We'd absolutely love to return.

This is my second time staying this hotel , the room view was perfect and location is perfect for city walk , but this time our room inside got some insect not a good staying experience for us

My stay at The St. Regis Shanghai Jingan was nothing short of extraordinary. The impeccable hospitality, the lobby’s opulent Art Deco design set the tone for a truly luxurious experience. The room was a sanctuary of elegance, floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views of the Jingan skyline. The attention to detail, from the personalized butler service to the nightly turndown amenities, exceeded expectations. Location-wise, the hotel is perfectly situated steps from Nanjing Road and Jingan Temple, blending convenience with serenity.

Nice comfy room in a location that is accessible via 10 to 15 mins walk to major walking streets and shopping malls. Internet network however seems to have some trouble around the hotel area.

Definitely need to improve breakfast (queue for about 15 min just to take a seat, very poor assortment even of Chinese dishes). Carpet and furniture in the rooms shall be taken care of (hair and stains). Staff (especially night shift) very helpful and friendly. The hotel supposed to be gorgeous but as a fact it is tending to be tired and shabby (I mean the rooms, not public areas), even bed linen has holes, unacceptable for a 5*.

I enjoyed my stay at St. Regis Shanghai Jing’an very much. The hotel is very beautiful and the service is very professional and attentive. The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom and coffee & tea amenities are very good. Nice selection in the minibar as well. The cleanliness of the room was perfect. Location is also very convenient. Highly recommend!
