We were two girls traveling together and stayed at Tai Hoe Hotel for a short trip. The location is quite convenient — close to Mustafa Centre, City Square Mall, and public transport, which made getting around easy. The room was small but manageable. It was clean enough, but nothing fancy. Some parts of the room felt a bit old and could use an update. The bed was okay, though not super comfy, and the air conditioning worked fine. One thing to note — the walls are quite thin, so we could sometimes hear noise from the hallway or other roosms. As two female travelers, we felt generally safe, but the environment was more functional than cozy or relaxing. Staff was polite but not overly warm or welcoming. Check-in/check-out was quick and smooth. Overall, it’s a budget hotel — good if you just need a place to sleep and plan to spend most of your time exploring the city. But if you're looking for more comfort or a relaxing vibe, you might want to look elsewhere.

Room not cleaned properly full of dust on the wall and cockroaches over the room. No window and hardly a very small room. We are paying but not clean rooms. Singapore is clean but not these hotels.

There are a few small cockroaches in the room, and I’m worried they might crawl into our ears while we’re sleeping. Toothpaste and toothbrush are not automatically provided in the room; they’re available upon request.

Very good hotel. No bad smell, very clean, stuff behaviour is very good. excellent location. Neat to MRT. Food available near hotel.

First of all, lots and lots of small cockroaches inside the room. The telephone's wires have cobwebs, The bathroom was never cleaned with any bleaching materials, as we can feel the moldy floor and see the mildew marks on the floor and walls. The tiled floors and the bottom of the bed are never vacuumed even after asking to clean the room. They do replace the towels but the sheets remain the same over the 4 days we spent in the hotel. On our last day, before chcking out, the whole hotel lost electricity, including the elevators, they dont have any backup generators. forcing us to go down the stairs with our luggage. someone did help us carry the bags down four flights of stairs, poor guy. The hotel and room itself is out dated and needs a lot of work, the location should have been perfect, near MRT and Bus lines, a hawker center and mall right across. Over-all, we wanted to exerpeince singapore on a budget-friendly hotel but all we got is a cheap room not worthy of Singapore's high standards, It could have been a better experiece, but unfortunately this vacation is marred by a bad experience with our hotel.

Have a lot of cockroach. No toiletries. The bathroom is so small. The bedsheets are stained.

Amazingly affordable and strategic location. All your needs just around any nearby corner. There is parking bay near by, a bit queue though. Standard rate applicable. Can consider this hotel for our next trip, if any.

Location is excellent. It’s very close to shopping mall and Mustafa Center, a huge supermarket. Room is simple. One thing that bothered me was that there were a lot of little flies coming out of the shower drain. They kept coming out of the dirty drain. The area under the sink was dirty as well. Location is best. Room is spacious. Cleanliness should be improved, have cockroaches in room and bathroom. Bathroom is very small.
