The room was clean and good enough for an overnight stay, it has the basic amenities. I only have a comment to the male receptionist and the attendant the night. I booked a room with queen size bed but the receptionist was insisting a room with 2 single beds and even ask me ”Hindi nyo ba kayA maghiwalay Ng higaan sir?” Which I totally find annoying. 2nd, the remote control was really hard to press. I'm not as critical about it because I have a phone to watch anyway but I tried it to make sure that it is functioning properly as I don't want them to charge it to us in the end so I go down to ask them to replace it with a well functioning remote control. Both staffs during that night seem don't want to be disturbed while watching something on to their phone. They make face and make me feel that they are not willing to assist me. Morning staff was better though.

I had the most wonderful time staying at this lovely place! The location was perfect, with everything I needed just a short walk away. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly what I was looking for. The communication was great and check-in was seamless. I felt right at home and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

room advertised in trip.com has a fridge. But when we booked that room there's none. Instead theres a shared pantry. No tv No wifi Hotel is just across the vfs

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and I still enjoy every visit. One of its biggest advantages is its excellent location right within the Makati Central Business District (CBD), making it very convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The room is spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The air conditioning works properly, keeping the room cool throughout the day and night. Housekeeping is also commendable, with the bed sheets being changed daily, which helps maintain cleanliness and comfort during the stay. One thing to note is that there is no Wi-Fi available inside the rooms. However, Wi-Fi is accessible in the lobby area, which may be sufficient for guests who only need occasional internet access. The bathroom is quite compact and primarily designed for shower use, but it is functional and adequate for a short stay. I also appreciate that the hotel provides a bidet, which is an important feature for many travelers. During my stay, I noticed a few cockroaches here and there. While this did not significantly affect my overall experience, it is an area where the hotel could improve its housekeeping and pest control measures. Overall, I still find this hotel to be a good value for money because of its strategic location, spacious rooms, reliable air conditioning, and daily housekeeping service. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would still consider staying here again on future visits to Makati.

Mad Monkeys rarely disappoint & here's no exception, in the heart of Makatis Party district Poblacion, you'll find everything you need to have a blast. It's a very social space with a rooftop skybar/terrace & restaurant & ground floor cafe with outside patio. I stayed in a 4 bed dorm (305) which I have to admit is very cramped, the toilet doesn't flush well & the shower head holder is damaged. Also the mattresses still have the plastic covers on so they squeak like crazy, this could be resolved by placing plywood on the top bunks which would make a sound barrier. Other than that, great hostel, great staff, great service & you get a welcome drink when you check in. JOIN THE MADNESS 🤣

Very nice room and the aesthetics design is actually very nice (space-time concept). The cleanliness is great and the aircon is cool too. With free toothpaste and toothbrush as well as 2 bottles of mineral water provided. Although the wifi is not stable, it is still usable.. Thank you Astrotel!

bf kicked me out of the bnb and had to get a quick hotel for the rest of my stay in Manila! rooms were aight, you get what you pay for yk. its in a really good area i think, it wasnt a hassle for me to get anywhere, its walking distance to poblacion so that was fun. the staff was really nice and accommodating and not rude at all, which was refreshing. i was gonna go and party my last night but took a nap in their bed and woke up at 4 am…… I COULDNT PARTY 🥲 aight hotel for a solo traveler that got kicked out of the airbnb, and if youre tryna cut costs , and actually spend time out of the hotel and walk around AND THEY HAVE HOT WATER FOR SHOWERS dont have pics of the hotel but ill show my trip instead

It’s close to MRT Guadalupe station and surrounded by convenience stores and fast food spots, which makes everything easy to reach. The room itself was okay for the price. It was generally clean, and the basic amenities were provided, but don’t expect anything fancy. It’s more of a budget, no-frills stay. The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was decent enough for resting. Service was quick and straightforward. Staff were responsive, especially when requesting room service or assistance. However, there are a few downsides. Since it’s in a busy area, noise from outside can sometimes be noticeable. Also, the space can feel a bit small depending on the room type, and some parts of the facility may feel a bit dated. Overall, Hotel Sogo Guadalupe is a good option if you’re looking for something affordable, accessible, and convenient for a short stay. It’s not luxurious, but it gets the job done.

The service at Sunnette was great! Staff, both housekeeping and front desk were really friendly and efficient. They had housekeeping daily, which we didn’t expect, so that was a pleasant surprise. The building is really old (about 40 years), so it has a vintage feel to it. There’s hot water, towels, an induction cooker, a microwave, cutlery, plates, glasses, pots, and pans in the room. If I were to suggest anything, it’d be to bring a warm blanket with you when booking here because the blanket they offer is really thin. Other than that, we had a great experience at Sunnette. The hotel is right in the middle of the Poblacion nightlife/red light district, so there’s a lot of places to enjoy if that’s your thing and it’s near a bunch of malls like Greenbelt, Rockwell, and Century Mall. It can get noisy at night on the weekends, but fairly quiet on weekdays.

The room was spacious but I didn’t get enough sleep because of the window towards the hallways. It was too bright. A guest was aggressively trying to open my door while I was asleep so I was left thinking about my life lol please have proper communication with the other guests next time
