"This is a very new hotel. The large public bath on the second floor is open until 1 AM, and while the men's bath itself isn't huge, it's perfectly fine for a simple relaxation during your trip. The style is actually quite modern. The hotel's breakfast is better than typical Japanese hotels, with many buffet options and about four kinds of fresh fruit. It's not too far to walk to JR Sapporo Station, and there's also an underground passage you can use, though it requires a slight detour."

Hotel near odori park,Sapporo
About 7 minutes on foot from Odori Station. Located facing Odori Park, it is ideal for both sightseeing and business. The hotel is adjacent to "Odori Park," the venue for Sapporo's famous "Snow Festival," and provides excellent services for a comfortable stay.

"Clean and hygienic, with excellent service. It's right next to Odori Park and very close to Tanukikoji. The beds are surprisingly large for Japan; two single beds pushed together can easily accommodate a family of three. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit of a walk from the subway station. However, there's an airport shuttle bus stop just two blocks from the hotel, about a 5-minute walk, and it's cheaper than taking the subway."

Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and digital programming is available for your entertainment. Private bathrooms with shower/tub combinations feature deep soaking bathtubs and complimentary toiletries. Conveniences include phones, as well as desks and electric kettles.

"Highly recommended, highly recommended! First, let's talk about the location. This hotel is quite close to the JR station, about a 10-minute walk. There are several convenience stores and a post office nearby, and it's close to Hokkaido University. However, if you want to go to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, it might be a bit far, about a 1km walk. There are many restaurants near the hotel, including yakitori, yakiniku, and ramen. The service is also excellent. The front desk staff are very friendly and will generally greet you when you come and go. You can self-store your luggage, and if you're unsure how, the front desk will show you. They also offer a daily breakfast (free), and while the selection isn't huge, it's enough to eat, especially since it's complimentary. The room is a bit small, but most hotels in Japan are. For this price, I think it offers great value for money. I don't have very high demands for soundproofing. Some people might mind the noise from the station downstairs, but that's a personal preference. All in all, I highly recommend it!"

Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite. Stay in one of 169 guestrooms featuring flat-screen televisions. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and hair dryers.

"The room was quite spacious, and the facilities were very new. The cleanliness was excellent, and my request for a high-floor, quiet room was met perfectly. 👍 The yukata (Japanese robes) are one-size-fits-all but run a bit large for adults, while the children's yukata are very small (roughly size 120), barely fitting my son. 😂 The bedding at Mitsui is, as always, incredibly comfortable; I slept soundly every night. Our room was cleaned daily, and for three guests, they replenished three bottles of water each day. We'd also ask for skincare products at the front desk when we returned in the evenings. I didn't get to use the public bath due to my period, but I heard it only has one pool. The location is quite close to Sapporo Station, though dragging luggage through the snow on the first night was a bit of a hassle. Highly recommended! The only minor drawback is that the bathroom isn't separated into wet and dry areas, but other than that, there's nothing I disliked. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I visit Sapporo!"

"The three of us stayed in a quad room with bunk beds. It was a bit small, but the beds were large and very comfortable, similar to what you'd find in a YHA, making it great for families and friends traveling together. The common areas were a real highlight; I enjoyed sitting there alone for a while when I couldn't sleep, sipping tea or coffee – it was lovely. Mitsui Garden Hotel Sapporo is conveniently located a 4-minute walk from Sapporo Station and offers a variety of rooms with free Wi-Fi. A large public bath is available on the second floor. The Former Hokkaido Government Office is a 5-minute walk away, and Hokkaido Jingu is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Each room is equipped with a smart TV, electric kettle, and charging equipment. An air purifier and nightwear are also provided to ensure a comfortable night’s sleep. The front desk offers luggage storage, and a self-service cloakroom is also available. On the second floor, the utility lounge features coin-operated laundry machines, a microwave, vending machines, and an ice machine. The on-site restaurant serves a Japanese and Western-style breakfast.

"The biggest advantage of this hotel is its location. It's very close to Sapporo Station, just a three to five-minute walk, which makes going out for food and shopping incredibly convenient. I guess because of Sapporo's weather, you can access many places underground. Once you get familiar with it, you'll find yourself using the underground passages for all your shopping and dining needs. On the day we left, there was a blizzard, and being so close to Sapporo Station was a huge help; otherwise, we definitely would have missed our flight. The cleanliness was good, and the onsen (hot spring bath) area was also clean. Overall, it was very convenient and comfortable."

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to future guests and appreciate your kind understanding and continued patronage.

"Good hotel which located near the Sapporo station. I stayed there for 6D5N and it was snowing for a couple of days. So staying near the subway and APIA was important to us. There’s a public Onsen bath and open lounge for guests so it was good. A couple of downside was that there was some smell in the washroom, not sure if from the gutter or bathtub. And another thing was that the bedsheet was a bit uncomfortable compared to other Keio hotel. All in all a decent hotel for any tourists that wanted to stayed in central Sapporo area."

AAhmad MostafaAfter spending six days in MGallery Hotel Sapporo, I can safely say this is not an ordinary hotel. Reception at 5 pm was professional, efficient and friendly. I didn’t have to wait. Well done. Takako and Cindy provided a warm, informative and professional service. The concierge was helpful and welcoming. Very useful in a freezing outdoor climate - thank you Alex.  My room was as requested, 524. I booked a king room and it met my expectations. The design is lovely.  The bathroom is not huge, but is well appointed with a bath and a separate shower. The room is very quiet and I had a very pleasant sleeping experience.  The hotel and my room are in excellent condition, with a high standard of decor and presentation. Clearly recently renovated. The design is first class. It combines a beautiful Japanese style, with classical and traditional designs. The result is very pleasant - Chic! WiFi worked well. The room airconditioning was a little too hot for me, so I turned it off, and that was fine for me. The two guest’s lifts are fast and worked well over the six floors.  House keeping is also of a high standard as you would expect from a high end Accor hotel. This is especially so in Japan where service is an art form.  I had access to the executive lounge.  It was a good experience. It provides a comfortable and cosy atmosphere, and the food quality is nice. The chefs are friendly and caring, thank you James. The lounge staff are first class. Thank you very much to Yokiku, Kaumini and chief Minoru for your attentive and excellent service. I appreciated your kind service.  The only negative I am sorry to say is the occasional noisy foreigners who don’t appreciate the quiet, polite, refined and subtle Japanese culture.  The location is convenient, and is about 15 minutes easy walk from the main Shinkansen station. Being in a built up area there aren’t any views of parks etc, but rather the city landscape. The hotel is 5-10 minutes walk to a variety of wonderful shopping areas.  Additionally, there are major shopping malls in the Shinkansen station area. Nearby, you can find many restaurants that should suit most people’s cuisine, budget and type of food.  Taxies are available at the hotel entrance. Buses and subway stations are nearby and provide access to various parts of the city. There are several attractions within 30-60 minutes of the hotel such as temples, museums and regional attractions. Ms Takako provided excellent suggestions.  To be fair, I read the Hotel’s web reviews. I noticed that the negative comments were from years ago, before the hotel became an Accor hotel two years ago. I noticed most of the more recent reviews are positive.  A special thank you to all the other warm staff for their excellent and polite hospitality. Having experienced hotels in every continent, this one stands out. The service and attention to detail is in a class of its own. Clearly, this is a special Hotel - undoubtedly, due to the hotel’s leadership.   Finally, a heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, Mr Ted Kitahara, and his management team. Mr Ted introduced himself to me by chance. He made me feel very welcome, and was most kind to enlighten me about the hotel’s design and its interesting history. I hope to meet the Japanese architect one day! Overall, an extremely pleasant and first-class experience. I look forward to visiting again.  Thank you for a wonderful experience.

MMark PraekiatThis is my second stay here because I love this hotel so much! The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city and very convenient. There’s an Airport Bus stop right at the hotel for easy transfers to/from CTS Airport. It's located directly in front of Odori Park, which was amazing during the Snow Festival—I could just stroll out and enjoy the event. I also loved the free rooftop Onsen for guests. Overall, a fantastic experience!

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right across from Nakajima Park, making it super convenient for playing in the snow! The facilities are quite new, but the room was a bit small. We booked a deluxe room, but the view wasn't great – it faced inwards. I wonder if it's because we checked in late, so we were given a less desirable orientation. The breakfast was also good; the ramen was delicious, and they even offered free breakfast for our 6-year-old son. Overall, it's great value for money, and we'd definitely stay here again.

AAnonymous UserLocation: If you couldn't book the hotel's free shuttle or the Kappa Liner bus, you can take rapid bus #7 or #8 from Sapporo city center to Daiichi Hotel Mae, and the hotel is right there. There's also a bus to Sapporo Ski Resort that stops at the same platform. Room Amenities: The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, and it even had its own private hot spring bath. I booked a package that included breakfast and dinner. The food was just okay, but there was a self-service bar and some snacks.

MMsBeh94We had a good overall stay at Hotel Mystays Sapporo Station. The room was clean and reasonably spacious for two adults, making it comfortable for our stay. Basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided in the room. Additional items like toner, lotion and cleanser can be taken from the hotel lobby. A hair dryer is also available in the room. (I don’t recall seeing a fridge, so do check if that is important to you.) The hotel also provides shared facilities such as microwaves, vending machines, and washing and dryer machines located on different floors, which is convenient for longer stays. Our stay included breakfast, served on Level 14. The buffet offers a decent variety of both Western and Japanese dishes. Do note that breakfast ends at 9am, so it’s best to go early. The location is very convenient. The hotel is near the North Exit of Sapporo Station. The closest exit is Exit 9, but it involves three flights of stairs. If you are travelling with large suitcases, it is easier to walk about 200 metres to the main North Exit, which has better access. The walk is generally easy, though it can be slightly challenging in winter when snow covers the sidewalks. Sapporo Station is connected to several malls and underground shopping areas, making it very convenient for dining and shopping close to the hotel. The hotel offers luggage storage before check-in and after check-out (we used it for same-day storage), which was very helpful. They also work with a third-party luggage delivery service that can send your suitcases to another location (eg, your next hotel) for a fee. Delivery usually requires at least one day, so you will need to plan your itinerary accordingly. This is a useful option if you prefer not to carry large suitcases while travelling between cities. The hotel provides two types of pillows (one soft and one firm). If you are particular about pillow firmness, you may find them either too soft or too hard, so do take note. Overall, it’s a comfortable and convenient choice for staying near Sapporo Station.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! The building really stands out, and there are tons of restaurants and shops nearby, plus it's super convenient for transport. However, the room itself was a big disappointment. First, the window offered absolutely no view and couldn't even be opened – it felt like I'd booked a windowless room. Second, there were several hairs on the toilet seat, actually stuck in the middle. I was so exhausted after a long day of travel that I didn't even think to take pictures as evidence.

MmomoyeoHotel looks brand new, dimmer for bed room lights and bathroom lights were nice touches. It's a walk from sapporo station but all underground so in winter or rain it is not a big deal. Exit at a lift on the left after miredo. You should pass a montbell store on the right. Some renovation going on so Exit 7 was not available. GGuest UserDear Sir/Madam, I hope this message finds you well. I would like to share a small concern regarding my experience at the front desk on March 1, in the hope that it may be helpful for your future service considerations. After checking out from another hotel, we planned a 2‑day, 1‑night trip to Otaru and wished to store our luggage at your hotel beforehand. When we arrived, we were assisted by your staff member, Ms. Hayshi(林).When we asked whether it was possible to store our luggage, we were informed that storage was limited to one day only. We then explained that we would be returning quite late the following evening and asked if there might be any flexibility or alternative arrangements. However, the response we received felt a little abrupt, including a surprised “Huh?” that left us unsure how to continue the conversation. This made us feel slightly uncomfortable and misunderstood, though we believe it may simply have been a moment of miscommunication. In addition, from the day we inquired about luggage storage until March 4, we noticed that there were still two pieces of luggage stored in the luggage area for several days. We would appreciate some clarification on why those items were allowed to remain for an extended period, as this left us a bit confused about the policy. At the same time, I would also like to express my sincere appreciation for the warmth and professionalism shown by your Assistant Front Office Manager “Faucett mark “during my check‑in. He welcomed me with genuine kindness, clearly explained the procedures and facilities, and made me feel very well taken care of after a long journey. His patience and attentiveness created a truly positive impression, and I hope the hotel will acknowledge his excellent service. We have always appreciated the thoughtful hospitality that Japanese hotels are known for, which is why we chose to stay with you. With this in mind, we wanted to gently share both our concern and our gratitude, and we would appreciate a brief reply so we can feel more at ease for the rest of our stay. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this message. We wish your team a pleasant and successful day. Best regards, Mandy
