"First off, Ivy's ambiance is subtly pleasant and very comfortable. The service, I found, was just right. The way staff would nod and smile every time I entered, that subtle presence of 'we're here if you need us' felt really good. Almost all facilities have no time limits (except for the sauna which closes at midnight), so no need to rush for showers or the gym. It's perfect for night owls to quietly explore the hotel at any time! The lounge always has replenished snacks and drinks, and public spaces are always tidied up. Of course, this assumes everyone helps maintain a quiet atmosphere. The room layout was smooth, quiet, and conducive to good sleep. The air conditioning and all other facilities were noise-free. The flowing private hot spring was the best white noise for falling asleep. The room lighting was also perfectly designed! I really slept well, so checking out at 11 am was a bit difficult. It would be perfect if check-out could be at 12 pm! Even in summer, it's not boring at all. Although the Summer Lantern Festival isn't a huge event, it's still interesting! At least it's great for photos! I'd honestly love to come back in winter to experience the incredible snowy scenery! There are two young men who speak Chinese, and they are both very nice, so language communication isn't much of a worry. Friends who have stayed here also said Ivy was a pleasant surprise, a place that feels like home during their travels. However, to be honest, the dining was neither particularly good nor bad; nothing surprising there. My review might be subjective, but I genuinely love Ivy."

"This was my second stay here. I booked a large room, so the size was just right. Having two sinks in the bathroom is a fantastic design, and the hotel's close proximity to the JR station is very convenient. However, the hotel advertises Chinese-speaking staff, which wasn't the case during my stay. Not only was there practically no Chinese service, but many staff members also struggled with English, which was quite baffling. The in-room Wi-Fi signal was also poor; several staff members came to check but couldn't resolve the issue. Because of these points, I can't give a high rating. Overall, the facilities are well-equipped, which is why I've stayed multiple times."

"The hotel exceeded my expectations! I definitely want to book it again. It's a shame I couldn't properly use the free spa since I was on a one-day tour. However, it was great that the airport bus stop (for both directions) wasn't across the street but rather about 150m straight ahead after turning left from the hotel's main entrance. I stayed from July 13th to 16th (3 nights), 2026, and wished I could have stayed longer. I missed breakfast because of an early start for the one-day tour, but I'd like to try it next time. I highly commend the staff for their kindness. Mr. Harada's friendly guidance was particularly impressive. My thanks and appreciation again. The meeting points for my one-day tour were Odori Park and Sapporo Station North Square. Odori Park Clock Tower was about a 6-minute walk, and the North Square was about 15 minutes. The birthday card and the beautiful view from the 21st floor made my entire stay delightful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sapporo and doing tours in the area, especially with the great free hot springs on the 14th floor."
