Mantra on View Surfers Paradise Reviews

If you look closer, everything is quite worn out with many cracks etc in the room. Felt it was dirty. Also, restaurants/bar only opens on weekends...

We had a great time at Mantra in surfers. Front desk staff was lovely and helpful. The room was clean, the bed very comfortable. There was an issue with the shower head , the water was barely coming out due to build up of limescale and an old shower head. Also the shower gel dispenser was empty. Overall a pleasant stay

We booked the ocean view room and it was nice! The hotel is close to the beach.

The hotel is pretty mediocre; both the cleanliness and facilities are quite old and worn. The location is good, but be aware that you have to pay a separate 200 AUD deposit, which is credit card only – no cash accepted. What's more, they take an excessively long time to process the refund after you check out. We stayed on August 8th and 9th, and it's already the 15th, but we still haven't received our deposit refund! This is absolutely unacceptable and incredibly frustrating. Why do they charge such a substantial deposit and then take so long to return it?

The location is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants nearby and a tram stop right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient. Overall, it was a very good stay. Plus, you could even call it a sea view room, haha!

Nice clean good sized room in a very good location. The wifi being a bit slow unless you paid for fast was a little off putting

The hotel boasts a fantastic location, literally steps from the beach. It's incredibly convenient, being very close to both the train station and shopping centers, making it easy to travel, dine, shop, and enjoy the beach. The iconic Q1 Tower is also just a 10-minute walk away. Furthermore, the hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained.

Nice hotel in good location but getting a little bit dated and I found the bed a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel was pretty mid, the carpet was old and stained, the fire alarm above the bed kept flashing all night, the pillows were way too firm, the fridge in the room was super loud. The reception was nice though

That was so terrible. Totally different was what showed on photos.

The location is perfect and centrally located in the heart of shopping centres, walking distance to the beach and night life. Great rooms on the 22nd floor. The beds are very comfortable, and the room is spacious for up to 3/4 people. The downside for us was that the staff at the reception told us that there wasn't a restaurant located in the hotel when we enquired while checking in, so we went out to look for something to eat after we checked in to the hotel, only to get back to find a brochure in our room advertising a Cafe conveniently located in the hotel for guests. I highly recommend that the staff need to be informed of any changes in the hotel so that they are able to provide accurate information about the hotel to the guests. The check-in and check-out process was great, made conveniently for guests and staff, there's no long cues at the reception👍🏾 We'll definitely be returning.

Ned’s a good remodel. They are using very old photos. Does not look like that in person.

The check in was fine, the car parking was easy enough, but the room was not in good shape. The room was asthough it had experienced 20 years of schoolines and nothing had been attended to. There was paint peeling off, chips, cracks, unclean carpet, unkept room items. The clock was flashing random time, I didn't check to see if the TV was working, but it didn't mater, I wasn't staying in the room to watch it. The beds were very clean though, which I was relieved to see. The breakfast in the dining room was very nice, that was the saving grace. Won't be staying at this mantra again :(
