Good location Abt 100m away from Takamaya station.

This hostel is good location near Nohi bus station can walk within 3 min , recommented and owner is nice to view information. Can leave the luggage before check in time and after check out. The front door if you come back after 8 PM should press security code is safety. (Attached pic.from my room)

K's House Takayama Oasis is the best place to be if you're traveling around the area. I love that the kitchen is open 24 hours and all the utensils are free to use. The staff are friendly too, and the open kitchen and common room provided room for us to make new friends. They have branches all over Japan, too! I would definitely stay here again!

Great location, sparkling clean and lovely staff

2nd time using this place, and as usual, been a really pleasant and enjoyable one For the price that you pay for, the location is near the train station, bus terminal and walkable distance to the old town as well. Extremely convenient and efficient place. As usual, staff who was working there were really helpful! And there was this pretty japanese lady, who by the end of our stay went out of her way to assist in sending my snowboard all the way over to hokkaido to my next hotel. Best services ever 🫰 Location was amongst all the best food the city could provide too!

Smile Comfort Clean Spacious room

Excellent hostel. Just 3-4 mins away from the Takayama station. Easy to find. Very helpful staff who explained everything and answered all my queries. Two clean bedsheets n a clean pillow case given when checked in. The staff reminded me to sleep in between the two bedsheets, which was very reassuring. The single 'cabin' is spacious n clean. Didn't feel stuffy or itchy. Best hostel ever stayed.

Nohi bus station is very close. Turn left at the burger shop, cross the road, walk left, and at the intersection, turn right. You'll see the hotel sign. It's very easy to get to. The hotel looks old but is very clean. There are enough bathrooms. Coffee and matcha are available 24 hours a day. There's a kitchen for cooking. There's ample space for luggage storage. The bed is clean and soft. You can sleep comfortably. Stay 3 nights or more and get free laundry and drying service. It's near the market, restaurants, supermarkets, and Family Mart. I was very impressed and would stay again.

We booked a tatami room. There were huge queues at the two popular online restaurants. In addition, it was windy and snowy, so we simply went to the supermarket to buy beef and fried it. It was Hida beef. We fried it for a minute until it was 70% done, sprinkled with salt and black pepper, and it was delicious. A hotel with a kitchen is really a good choice.

The location is good. The shared kitchen and restaurant are cozy and convenient. We booked two people and were assigned a double room. It was a bit inconvenient. We arrived late that day. We couldn't communicate online. The store didn't leave a message. We only gave the key. The phone call was not connected. If we didn't meet a foreigner who wanted to come in, we would have been locked out of the hotel.

It is a room for travelers, compact but convenient and comfortable to sleep on a futon on the floor and a mat.

This youth hostel is very unique. I like their 2nd floor public area. You can buy ingredients to cook and read books. We stayed on the 5th floor. There is a private bathroom and a small elevator. There is Hida beef for eating in the mountain. We bought it before leaving and cooked it in the kitchen. It felt very good. I hope to have a chance to come again in the future...

Very satisfied. The kitchen is well equipped and I made my own dinner. You can rent bicycles for 150 yen/hour, up to 1000 yen, cheap. The front desk lady is super cute and gentle. There is Maruaki Hida Beef nearby, which is open from 11 am to 9 pm. At 5:30 pm for dinner that day, there was no queue after 50 tables were lined up😂. I heard from other guests that there was no queue at 4:30 pm.
