"I like the design of the swimming pool so much. The visual experience of floating in it looks very different from that of floating outside. It is a whole room of traditional Ryukyu architecture, and the living experience is very good. Although the air conditioner broke down in the middle of the sleep, the service staff still tried hard to help solve it."

"おばあちゃん家に訪れたような安心感のある民宿。玄関ではサガリバナが迎えてくれます。お部屋は4畳半の部屋に雑魚寝で有料のエアコンあり。洗面所やシャワー室は男女別共用で、リフォーム仕立てなのか綺麗です。女性目線でも快適とのこと。レンタカーも借りることができ、観光スポットを教えてもらえるので、西表島中を楽しく散策できます。今回は朝食だけにしましたが、地元の人も勧めるくらい夕食も美味しいらしいので次回はトライしたいです。"

"It was my first visit to Kuroshima, but by contacting me in advance, you can pick me up at the ferry terminal, and you can rent a bicycle for free during your stay. The service was substantial.
It was a nice inn with a hammock available on the rooftop at night, and if the weather was good, you could see the starry sky. There are ３ villages in Kuroshima, one of them, but there is also a visitor center nearby, so I think you can fully enjoy Kuroshima by using a bicycle."

"The room is a bit old but very large and comfortable, the large bathtub is bright, the floor to ceiling windows, and the tatami living room is very comfortable. There are three swimming pools, and there are swimming glasses to offer, very thoughtful, good dinner, is less choice. The hotel will provide an izakaya phone call on the island or help with reservations. There is a car transfer, it is very convenient, and the taste is OK. The beach is very shallow, the visibility is good, there are fish, and the children can have fun watching the fish safely. The hotel has its own golf course and the stadium is very good and few people. The overall cost performance is very high. The hotel raises the free popsicles especially delicious 😊 The hotel’s bicycles are expensive, it is recommended to borrow at the dock"

"It was close to Uehara Port and clean. The room was in a building so I couldn't hear the noise from the next door and it was comfortable. I was glad that I could use the washing machine for free. I'd like to stay here again."

Amazing
BBobvisserLuana Mele is the ideal tropical island getaway. It's a peaceful place, direct access to a beautiful beach where you can snorkel, and even has a pool in the summer season.
The food is also unbelievable, both breakfast and dinner were amazing every day.
Be mindful that there is no pickup service nor any taxis, so you have to take a bus from the harbor or walk 45 minutes.
We would highly recommend this place and hope to come back one day.

GGuest UserThe staff at Peace Island Taketomi were very kind and accommodating. The location was great for getting around and we enjoyed the rental bikes. We had a nice breakfast there too. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Would recommend!

MMichaelFantastic location with great views over the ocean and Hoshisuna Beach Bay. Family apartment has a huge balcony. Very helpful and friendly staff. The food served for dinner at the hotels restaurant was excellent, very tasty and arranged with special care. Breakfast as well was tasty and plenty. Bus stop just minutes away. Other beaches and diffrent restaurants in walking distance (20-35 minutes).

GGuest UserOur room with sea view had a really great view of the bay. However, the hotel has been somewhat in the years and once needed some relief. Unfortunately, the air conditioning could not warm and because it was quite cold during our visit, we have some frozen some and our clothes are not dry overnight. There was a Japanese buffet with fish and miso soup, as well as bread and marmelade for breakfast.
The staff was friendly and endeavoured, communication in English was not so easy in part.
