The hotel room wasnt 100% clean and the bathroom was quite bad, broken tiles and not clean. The amenities were okay but not the best and does not feel clean. Not what you would expect from a 5* resort.

Horrendous! I spent 10 days with my daughter in this hotel honestly it was the most unpleasant experience we had, to start with the cleanliness of the room dirty carpet and beddings, also the pool was very dirty and full of vomit, also very very expensive meals that taste like ****. We’ve spent so much money on food that we wasn’t eating, to make it worse the hotel is in the middle of no where so no food deliveries getting delivered there. Also you need to have a car. I had to leave and go to Airbnb got nice apartment in the central of the city there where I’ve enjoyed my holiday.

Stayed at Hilton Tangier Al Houara Resort & Spa for a few days — honestly a great experience. The place is huge, really clean, with a relaxing vibe. Rooms are spacious with a nice modern feel. Loved the pool and the beach access. Breakfast had plenty of options, everything fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful without being too much. It’s a bit outside the city, so perfect if you want quiet and nature around you. Definitely one of the better resorts in Tangier — I’d come back for sure.

Beautiful hotel, amazing pool, delicious variety of breakfast, overpriced lunch, but be-aware that this hotel is on the outskirts of Tangier, so very far from the centre about 1 hour drive if your lucky with the traffic! also if you don’t have a car then this hotel is not suitable for you, as medina taxis don’t come here, it cost £35 for a vip taxi from the hotel and that’s expensive.

Not good at all: Rooms were fully prepaid with credit card upon booking (one-night stopover). After I declined an additional guarantee deposit on my credit card, we were asked to pay a deposit of approximately €40 for the pool towels. Not 5*-like. The hotel facilities in the rooms and entrance area were okay, but extremely loud music played by the pool and in the courtyard for hours, and the food at the hotel beach bar was not appropriate for the hotel category. Overall impression more like 3-4*. We've been in the country for 3 weeks, and neither typical Moroccan hospitality nor the usual standards of an international hotel chain are evident. Update: The chaos with Hilton continues the next day. I demand confirmation of the guarantee deposit cancellation. The reception staff tries in vain to process this.
