"I’m an international traveler from California, USA, and this was the best hotel I have ever stayed in! I normally book only five star hotels for my family (my husband, four year old, and myself) and this hotel in Tiantai truly blew us away. The design and decor is gorgeous - it transports you to a zen garden complete with sophisticated greenery and koi pond. The koi pond is beautiful and the fish are so healthy. The hotel staff was also extremely kind and accommodating, Miss Zhang walked us to a restaurant the first day we arrived and DingDing was really sweet to our four year old son. The service was the best and I didn’t feel like I had issues communicating, even with my limited Chinese, and with my family not speaking any Chinese. My husband had work calls with California at a ridiculous hour (4 am to 8 am!) and they let him use the tea room for his video calls. The value for this place is also amazing - this was the least expensive hotel I have stayed in, and also the best! I really feel like this hotel was the passion project of someone who had a grand vision and great taste. The Le Labo toiletries were such an unexpected treat. I have family in Tiantai so I will definitely be back and I can’t wait to stay here again!"

"Hotel location is quite good, the center of the old city, supermarkets, hospitals, snack streets, restaurants, net red punch points, etc., including the attractions are very close, five minutes walk to Jigong's former residence, Luxi Old Street, Guoqing Temple is less than ten minutes by car. "The hotel environment is great, quiet and comfortable. The room layout is very distinctive and the details are well handled. The whole house is smart and very convenient. The location is also very convenient, with everything you need for eating, drinking and having fun around. Just across the street is Zhexi Old Street, which is suitable for a walk at night. "Good location for getting taxis to main tourist attractions. Room was spacious and very clean. I took advantage of a Trip package, which included free buffet and a cocktail, as well as train station pickup (up to 5pm). Actually, was able to use the pickup as a departure to get me to the train station after I checked out, but that wasn't clear on the TRIP promotion details. The buffet looked good, but I arrived at 7:30pm and most of the food was gone, so get to the buffet early. However, the team actually recognised this situation and brought me out a sizzling pork chop meal, so in the end I had a great meal."

"Everything else is ok, but I want to complain about the breakfast, which is the worst hotel I have ever been to. I stayed there for three days, and the breakfast didn't change at all, and there were very few varieties. The worst thing was the fruit, which was not fresh at all. On the last day, rotten fruit was even served. I told the auntie about it, but she didn't change it. It was really bad."

"The location is close to the scenic spot, and it is very convenient to drive there. There are many parking spaces, both above and below ground, so parking is stress-free. Register for the hotel applet and upgrade to a small suite with a good view of the mountains and clouds. The hotel is a little old, but the sanitary service is OK. The breakfast is very rich, mainly Chinese, and there are also Western food such as bread sandwiches. There are also many local snacks. The soup noodles, pan-fried pot stickers and rolls are all made on site and taste very good. Especially the pot stickers, the bottom is very crispy when they are just out of the pan, highly recommended."

"The room is large, with a Chinese Zen style, and the service is very thoughtful and enthusiastic. It's about half an hour's walk from Guoqing Temple. I stayed during the Spring Festival, parked my car at the hotel, got up early and walked to the temple. It was quiet and perfectly avoided the crowds. I was very satisfied. I didn't experience afternoon tea and hotel breakfast due to time constraints. It's a bit regrettable. I will stay here again if I have the chance. Due to the flow of tourists during the Spring Festival, I couldn't check out late. I was given a picnic mat as a gift. Anyway, the thought was received!"

"The room was upgraded, the hotel facilities were nice, and the view was great. However, here are some disappointments: 1. The time allotted for the activities was too short. I'd recommend specifying the actual time. I had planned a full day. For example, the meditation activity was listed as one hour, but it was actually less than 15 minutes. The Eight-Section Brocade activity was listed as 30 minutes, but it was only 10 minutes. If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have made the time to plan it. I'm impressed. 2. The outer cloth bag for the sachet was gone, leaving only a thin inner bag. You should cancel this activity. I was also disappointed. 3. Breakfast was incredibly basic. Both days, it was the same lobster noodles per person. On the second day, I was really glad I only booked two nights, otherwise I wouldn't have known what to eat. 4. We ordered horse meat for dinner, which was delicious. The waiter's professionalism was at best acceptable. When the pot was brought over, I asked if they wanted to light it. They did, and the lid was removed. I saw white smoke coming out. I went back to the waiter and asked if it was ready to cook. The waiter said, ”Okay, I'll open the lid.” I have no idea what kind of service this is. 5. Then, late at night, I heard a loud noise from the room. I called front desk and was put on hold for over 20 minutes. I called again, but it seemed like there was no handoff. I don't know what happened, so I explained it again and was put on hold for another 10 minutes in the middle of the night. 6. When checking out, they asked a day in advance if they could check out late, but they told me to come back that morning (and I wouldn't see the room status the next day?). They also said if it wasn't possible then, they could just say no extension. I couldn't handle that, so I checked out right away at 10:00. There was also a hiccup when checking out. I thought the black leather case was a souvenir, so I gave it back to the front desk. They took the card and then held it out again. I was speechless. They said, ”Why don't you just use paper? If I knew my leather case had been touched by so many people, I wouldn't have used it.” Overall, the hardware is 90+, but the software (including service, content settings, etc.) is barely a passing grade."
