Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kiyosumi Shirakawa Reviews

It’s a very comfortable and cozy hotel. The rooms were always clean, and they were cleaned every day. The breakfast was really delicious, especially the scrambled eggs! You can have coffee and tea 24/7. The staff is very friendly. Also, there is a FamilyMart and a subway station near the hotel — it’s very convenient. I will definitely return to this place.

Really good budget hotel for Tokyo, small but comfortable rooms. Really nice staff and efficient housekeeping system. I had a very comfortable week days here, only drawback was breakfast. Having stayed at other comfort hotel branches in Tokyo this breakfast was very basic and i often missed it and went straight out. Convenient above a metro stop on two lines, 30 minutes to most major places in Tokyo. Also above a 24 hour family mart.

Really clean and nice hotel. Got everything we needed. Staffs are really friendly and breakfast was nice and healthy. Room might be a little bit small but no other complaints aside from that.

The room was a little small which is common for Tokyo hotels. However, the aircond is dusty and causing the room unpleasant air quality and smell. Good side is the breakfast, variety choice and tasty.

My stay here was fantastic! The hotel is situated in a local neighborhood, not swarming with tourists, which gives it a wonderfully authentic vibe. A convenience store is conveniently located just a few steps away downstairs. Moreover, direct access to the Oedo and Hanzomon subway lines right below the hotel means you can reach popular areas like Shinjuku, Ueno, and Akihabara without any transfers. For those planning a trip to Disneyland, it's incredibly convenient too; a quick bus-to-subway transfer gets you right to the park entrance in under half an hour. Seriously, the transport links here are unbeatable!

Extremely satisfied! It exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was the absolute highlight – so delicious! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Secured luggage storage was available. Its location is also incredibly convenient, right by the subway exit. With a Tokyo Metro card, it's easy to get anywhere. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Tokyo.

I stayed here for 5 days and was extremely satisfied. The neighborhood is very quiet, yet incredibly well-connected. It's right next to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa subway station, literally a step away from the exit. Nearby is Kiyosumi Gardens, which might be a lesser-known spot, but it gave me my most cherished memory of a Japanese garden.

Just some cigarettes smell in the lift and the lift feel slightly old.. The rest of the amenities are great, room is clean. Free breakfast provided too! Located right next to the train station with escalators  which is great

Amazing location, service and cleaness, considering the price i paid as a solo traveller, it reallly lets me nap well than a capsule hotel which brings noises all the time, will definitely come back for more

We stayed at 3 hotels during our recent Japan family trip, and Comfort Hotle Shirakawa is the best one! Yes, the rooms and bathroom are small, and there is less security, but the service, kindness, and location made our stay very memorable. Daily room cleaning, tasty buffet breakfast, and the kindest hotel staff (same treatment to locals and non-locals) really made us feel like valued guests. Thank you!

The room is on the smaller side but it was very clean. The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was good and had Japanese and Western options. The location is very convenient with an entry to the train station next door on one side and a convenience store on the other. There’s a 7/11 few meters away as well.

Right next to a train station and a convenience store, the service was excellent at all hours of their 24 hour reception. Staff speak English and Japanese well so communication was no problem for me. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they even helped me book an appointment since I did not have a Japanese phone number. It's great that they have a library cafe area open from 10am to 12am (after breakfast service) for guests to use for work, reading, or eating. They offer free drinks, such as coffee, tea, and cold and hot water, and there is a sink as well to wash hands easily. The breakfast is almost the same everyday but I love the option to take the tray to your room to eat and return it afterward. There was a good variety (bread and toaster, cereals, hot Japanese breakfast, international breakfast options, various drinks hot or cold, and salad). The room itself was small but all the essential personal care items were either already in the room or available at reception (eg: toothbrush and toothpaste, body soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, pajamas, hair comb, razor, anti-wrinkle spray, shoe horn, shoe brush, etc) and additional could be requested at reception (I requested additional clothing hangers). Towels and bedsheets could be replaced upon request before 10am, but sometimes they will also knock on your door to check if you would like cleaning to be done at a different time. There was a big vanity mirror with a large lightstrip around the edge for doing makeup and the light can be turned off as well. The fridge needs to be turned on to work, but it seems a bit closer to a freezer (items near the back were frozen). The toilet bidet was comfortable to use and adjust, as was the sink/shower faucet. The bathtub fills up in around 10 mins and is a good depth to soak almost the whole body. The window pane cannot be opened but there is an option to open the ventilation screen at the bottom of the window to allow airflow from outside. 100% would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

A good hotel with an excellent location (metro station in the next building, as well as a kiosk with fresh seafood, a Palace and other attractions)
