I stayed here for a business trip and had an excellent experience. The room was clean, perfect for working, and the Wi-Fi was stable. The service was prompt and very attentive. The location is great, parking is convenient, and it offers fantastic value for money. I'll definitely be back!

We are from England and stayed here from 28/03/26 - 04/04/26 while visiting our son who lives in Zhangjiagang. Excellent plush hotel, lots of marble, quality carpet (and robot room service, heated hi-tech toilet seat etc) set in a scenic lakeside location. A little bit remote but Didi taxis are very very cheap. Staff were helpful. We paid a bit extra for a balcony and lake view room and it was well worth it. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but the food was very nice. Very good choice - quite different to UK breakfasts - but in a good way. Fresh fruit, cereals, bread, bao buns, vegetables, eggs, 3 types of noodles etc. Possibly the nicest hotel we've ever stayed in and we would definitely come back.

Not the first time, all times when I trevel to Zhangjiagang I stay there. Quiet place, nice breakfast. Not so many things around, but this I don't need. Easy to go there by car and free parking.

Taking advantage of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, I brought my parents to Zhangjiagang. We booked the Zhangjiagang Marriott Hotel this time. It's located in the heart of Zhangjiagang, making transportation very convenient. Right next to it are the Poly Grand Theatre and Wanda Plaza, so shopping and entertainment are easily accessible. It's also a short drive to several classic scenic spots. We booked an Executive King Room, which was on the 36th floor, the same floor as the executive lounge, so dining was super convenient. Upon entering the room, you find the spacious bathroom with a separate bathtub and shower area. A sliding door next to the bathtub can be closed to separate it from the bedroom – truly excellent attention to detail. In the center of the room was a king-sized bed, and by the window, there was a chaise lounge and a small desk. Lying on the chaise lounge, you could enjoy panoramic city views from the large floor-to-ceiling window. The executive room package included afternoon tea and dinner. The 'Happy Hour' from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM offered a rich variety of dishes and plenty of drinks. There were three pre-made cocktails daily, but I still preferred the Gin & Tonic. For breakfast, the shepherd's purse and pork wontons were incredibly fragrant and delicious – highly recommended. The service here is very warm and welcoming; staff always greeted us enthusiastically in the hallways. Usually, after dinner, we'd take a walk outside, and by the time we returned to the hotel, the turndown service had already been done, making us feel truly at home.

The room was clean and tidy, with a floor-to-ceiling window separating the wet and dry areas. The lobby also offered self-service coffee and snacks.

Suning Ya Yue Zhangjiagang - stayed for 6 nights in a spacious executive queen room. The hotel occupies levels 7-9 above the electronics shopping mall and is accessed by a doorway at the west end of the building. The executive queen rooms are in the curved South East corner of the building facing the intersection and river and have panoramic floor to ceiling glass that can't be opened. They are only single glazed but are quiet at night due to the lack of traffic. The other outward facing rooms have normal aluminium sliding windows and would probably be noisy. They also have inward facing rooms with windows facing a void that would be very quiet but not very light. The aircon in my room worked well but I had to choose from different floors for heating or cooling at check in. The large blockout curtains worked very well. Universal power points and USB outlets next to the big bed. There was no mini bar or in-room safe in my room. There was a kettle with tea but no coffee. The breakfast buffet had limited choices but eggs to order are offered. No butter was available for the sweet bread slices. The machine coffee was actually okay. The hallways are carpeted to limit noise but the carpet is very, very dirty and very worn, which really lowers the quality of the hotel. It's in easy walking distance to the newly opened lovely Yancheng Old Town restaurant area and directly across from the large Mambat Mall and big Freshippo supermarket (Basement 1). This is a Chinese hotel with very little English but all of the staff were very friendly and helpful and very patient with my lack of Chinese. I also had no trouble getting parts delivered to the hotel during my stay. I would probably stay again but they really need to get new carpet....

I chose to stay at the Wanda Jin Hotel during our family trip to Zhangjiagang with the kids. First, I have to highlight the most impressive service – a special shout-out to Xiaoyue at the front desk! From the moment we walked in, she greeted us warmly and accompanied us every step of the way, from the lobby to the elevator and even to the parking lot, showing meticulous care and thoughtfulness. Her 180-degree bow during check-in was incredibly sincere and heartwarming. When we encountered a minor issue during our stay, Xiaoyue promptly communicated with us and efficiently helped us resolve it. She was patient and professional throughout, with absolutely no perfunctory attitude! I also want to commend a housekeeping manager (a slightly chubby gentleman). After we checked in, we had a small problem in our room, and he immediately came up to take a look and quickly resolved it. His attitude was sincere, genuine, and polite, which made us feel very warm. He even stayed with us late into the night until the issue was completely resolved! A big thank you again to the front desk and the manager for their enthusiastic hospitality! Even though the hotel is newly renovated, there was absolutely no strange odor, which made me feel very secure bringing my children – a huge plus point. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with our experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

My stay at the Zhangjiagang Yahood Hotel was excellent from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and quick, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-designed with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept soundly every night. What stood out most was the hotel’s attention to detail—the toiletries, daily cleaning, and small touches like complimentary bottled water made the stay feel extra thoughtful. The location is also convenient, close to shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, this is a modern, clean, and well-managed hotel. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiagang and will choose it again for my next trip.
