Our initial triple room was incredibly cramped, but the double room we moved to later had a normal, comfortable amount of space. The hotel's location is absolutely superb; it makes getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel occupies floors nine and above, with a shopping mall and restaurants on the floors below (up to the eighth floor). Getting here is very straightforward: take the airport bus to Osaka Station, and it's just around the corner in the direction the bus was heading. The transportation links are truly excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.

Exactly near the entrance of Dountonbori not DOTONBORI...its slightly further 2bridges away but still its a breeze of a walk by the river...
The greatest thing about this hotel is only 400mtrs to Doton Plaza where Shuttle bus to Kansai airport is located for 1800yen...too convienient..loved it..
As a solo female traveller, hotel is safe and great room size...Ask for 402..best room ever...Window overlookin the Dontonbori river..if u need toiletries before going up the room after check in u will find a kiosk...EVEN BETTER ENGLISH speaking Customer support is always on hand for assistance...I WILL DEFINATELY COME BACK...and at the lobby LUUP (E-bike & E-scooter is always ready to be used)...THE BEST END TO MY JAPAN 28days trip...

The location is fantastic, right by Tsutenkaku Tower. A subway station is conveniently located right next to the hotel, and a major transportation hub is just a few hundred meters away, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere. Nipponbashi Denden Town (Anime Street) is also within easy walking distance. After a long day of exploring, returning to the hotel for a hot spring bath is pure bliss! The ground floor restaurant offers all-you-can-drink options, with alcoholic beverages available in the evening, and complimentary ramen served after 9 PM. The surrounding neighborhood is also great; you can even walk to a Don Quijote store for shopping. The room size is surprisingly decent; there's enough space to easily open a large suitcase, which I was quite satisfied with!

A big thank you to Hashinaka-san for her assistance when I called the hotel to inquire about room types. Her friendliness was a major factor in my decision to book this hotel. Subsequently, the front desk staff were very proactive and helpful in coordinating our room arrangements, allowing us to stay for four consecutive nights without needing to change rooms. Everyone was very friendly.
The hotel's main advantages are its excellent location and the fact that it accommodates two adults and one child in a single room. However, be prepared for the compact room size and smaller beds. I suggest bringing your own air mattress for the child to ensure everyone gets a comfortable night's sleep.
If you haven't booked the hotel breakfast, you can find options at Drip Cafe, which is directly accessible from the lobby.
Opposite the hotel is Grand Front Osaka. If you cross through the complex and then another street, you'll find the largest Patagonia store. While it's not tax-free, it's very well-stocked and even has a children's section.

I booked this hotel primarily for its location. The actual route was much simpler than what Google Maps suggested; we followed a previous reviewer's advice: take the JR West Exit/Sakurabashi Exit, cross the road, walk past 7-Eleven, and it's straight ahead – no need for the convoluted route Google Maps suggested. It's also very convenient for the airport, with the bus terminal just a 5-minute walk away, saving you the hassle of lugging suitcases up and down stairs. However, Umeda Station is massive. While the hotel is right next to a subway entrance, some subway lines still require a good 10-15 minute walk to reach from their respective exits.
Now for the downsides. Despite the great location, if you happen to get a street-facing room, you can still hear the JR train noise (even on the 12th floor, which isn't particularly low). Light sleepers beware. There was also some dust in the room, especially on the blinds. The bathroom was quite small. And, somewhat strangely, booking a triple room for two people ended up being cheaper than a double room. Furthermore, bottled water isn't provided in the rooms; instead, there's a water dispenser and ice machine in the hallway on each floor, so you need to bring your own bottle to fill up.
Overall, it's acceptable for a one-night stay, and the breakfast was decent. However, if the price is too high, it definitely isn't worth the cost.
We had such a fantastic stay! The hotel is in a great location near Universal Studios, which made our visit so easy and convenient. The rooms were comfortable and peaceful, and we loved the special touches like the afternoon chocolate dip – my daughter’s absolute favourite part of the trip! She says this is her favourite hotel in the whole of Japan, and I can see why. The food was very good, though an even wider selection would make it perfect. Overall, a wonderful experience – we’ll definitely come back.

The hotel's front desk is located on the 9th floor, easily accessible by elevator from the Daimaru side (south exit) of the subway station. The service here was excellent, reminding me of the high standards I experienced in Japan a decade ago – a quality that's hard to find these days. Downstairs, there are abundant dining options, as there's a shopping mall on both the north and south sides of the station. On our second day, we went to USJ. Luckily, during the Expo, there was a direct subway line that took us there in just one stop, a mere ten-minute ride. Even normally, reaching USJ is very convenient; with just one transfer, the total subway journey only takes a little over ten minutes.
The location is absolutely perfect, with direct subway access downstairs and Daimaru and Parco department stores just across the street, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. Dotonbori is also only a few minutes' walk away. However, the location is really its only redeeming quality. The rooms and facilities are extremely dated. There's very limited space to hang clothes, and the design clearly hasn't been updated in a very long time. Staying here was uncomfortable; it's really just a makeshift place to crash for the night.
I booked this hotel because my flight was rescheduled to the following morning and I was already at the airport. It's conveniently located near Rinku Town.
Environment: Given its open setting next to a parking lot, it could be a bit noisy during the day.
Cleanliness: Excellent, very clean.
Service: The electric kettle in my room was broken. I called the front desk, and after explaining the issue in English, they replaced it for me within a few minutes.
Facilities: The bed was very comfortable. The toiletries were all Pola, which is true to Washington Hotel's usual high standards. Both check-in and check-out were fully digital, and you can even book a bus for the next day. Getting to the airport in just ten minutes is fantastic – no more worrying about flight delays!
2nd time staying here! Absolutely love their service ❤️
Staff are friendly, helpful and amicable! Breakfast did not disappoint - although I hope they do bring back the ”bento-style” plate during my first time stay back in 2024!
Will definitely come back again if I'm visiting Osaka, highly recommended 💯

Great
GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Park Front Hotel with my 12-year-old son for three days and two nights while visiting Universal Studios Japan. The location is fantastic—right across from the park, making it incredibly convenient. The surrounding area features a mall with a variety of dining options and vibrant nightlife, so you won't get lost.
While the hotel has an older, classic design, it’s clean and offers spacious rooms for a reasonable price. I highly recommend it for families planning to visit USJ, as it saves you the hassle of long commutes after a tiring day at the theme park.
The staff is friendly, though I didn’t have much interaction with them. The breakfast buffet is tasty with a good selection, but there are plenty of dining options nearby, including Tully's Cafe and McDonald's, so consider saving money by eating out instead. Overall, a solid choice for families, especially given the fair pricing for a comfortable stay!
GGuest UserThe rooms are clean but the bed is a bit squeeze for 2 persons. While the location is just nice as Walking distance fm the station to the hotel and lot of eateries nearby. The hotel offer free beer at selected times for guests too. The cons is they are very strict for late check out requests. Overall is still good and will be bck again.

Amazing
GGuest UserMy wife and I stayed in the King Premium room for 2 nights in April 2025.
We loved the location of the hotel. It is 5 mins walk from Osaka station and surrounded by many shopping malls so you will never go hungry or run out of things to buy. It is also very convenient to make day trips since Osaka station connects to nearby cities like Nara, Kobe, Kyoto and Himeji.
We also loved the size of the room (40m^2) and the toilet. There was more than enough space to fully open 2 luggage bags. There were also 2 separate sofas which you could sit in.
The only thing we thought could have been improved on was the reception as no one offered to bring our luggage bags up to our room.
Great room and location, service could’ve been improved.
PPo Wing PhilipBefore it was 400 dollars a night for this location this price no complaints!
But now it costs more than seven hundred! Then it’s not highly recommended!
Breakfast bread provided every morning! The room is good and acceptable!
The disadvantage is that there is no ornate lobby also like understaff, walking to the ground
Iron-Nippon Bridge is a little far! Very quiet near the hotel at night! Not recommended for single ladies! Close to Black Gate Market! There are other options for this price!
GGuest UserThis hotel is a great choice for short stays, especially if you’re looking for convenience and privacy. The location is excellent—just under a 5-minute walk from Tengachaya Station, making it easy to access public transportation. There is also direct train from Kansai Airport to Tengachaya station, without transfer - bonus point if you arrived from KIX. There’s also a 7-Eleven nearby that offers Yamato luggage delivery service, which is very handy if you're traveling with heavy bags.
The hotel operates as a fully self-service property, with no staff at the front desk. Check-in is straightforward—they’ll email you a passcode to access your mailbox, where you’ll find your room key.
Rooms are compact, as is typical in Osaka, but very clean and feel quite new. The bed has storage space underneath, which is perfect for stowing large suitcases. Amenities are basic (toothbrush, comb, shaver), and you can pick them up at the front desk area, which also has a microwave available if you want to heat up food.
One thing to note: there’s no coin laundry on-site, so if you’re staying for an extended period, plan accordingly. The room brochure mentions a luggage delivery service, but I didn’t receive a reply when I tried to contact them using provided number.
Overall, it’s a solid option for short stays—comfortable, private, and very conveniently located near transit and services.

Very Good
SStephanie 2000Pros: Excellent location. Walk to many tourist place and convinient.
Cons / Experience: Before arriving in Osaka, I emailed Holiday Inn to inform them that due to personal reasons can see ghost, I could not stay in rooms located directly next to the lift or at the very end of the corridor. However, on the first day, the hotel still assigned me a room right next to the lift. Although the room appeared clean, it was very dusty, had bugs, and the room remained shining throughout the night, which made it difficult for me to sleep. The insects bug on bed also caused skin irritation.
Fortunately, the young male receptionist was very polite and attentive, and he helped me change to another room. Unfortunately, the new room still had bugs on the bed and was also dusty.
This hotel may be more suitable for men who enjoy nightlife, as there are pubs nearby, some with women dressed in revealing outfits to attract customers. On the other hand, the older male receptionist seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming, often showing a “black face.”
SSmileyMomoThe hotel is located directly above an Aeon supermarket, which is incredibly convenient for breakfast, late-night snacks, and general groceries. The Yotsubashi subway station entrance is right next to the supermarket, and Shinsaibashi Station is only about a 10-minute walk away.
They have coin-operated laundry machines, but there are only four, so you often have to queue up to use them in the evenings.
I especially loved the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. The toilet and shower/bath area are separated by a door, which made things much more efficient. What’s more, outside the bathtub, there’s a shower and a small stool, so if you’re not taking a bath, you can simply shower outside the tub.
I have to mention the bathroom’s drainage system – it’s superb! The water drains incredibly fast, which made showering a much more pleasant experience. The room was also spotlessly clean.
This hotel is perfect for independent travelers. The staff were incredibly polite, thank you.

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel for the second time and was impressed by its consistent quality. The room was spotlessly clean, and Sexually transmitted infection: and well-equipped with modern facilities, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. The staff were courteous and attentive, providing excellent service throughout my visit. My only complaint is that the milk vending machine was frequently out of stock, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, the hotel offers a pleasant and reliable experience, making it a great choice for travelers. I would definitely consider returning for future stays.
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and clean, the view from our room to the bay was spectacular. We booked deluxe room for 3 people and we got 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed which was arranged in the living room. The beds were quite big for single size. There were supermarket, pharmacy all tax free and premium outlet closeby. We would love to stay a few day more next time and try the breakfast.
GGuest UserThe room was spacious and very clean. Drinks in the mini-fridge were complimentary, and they also provided four free bottles of water. It's a great option for families with children.
A crucial heads-up: this hotel has a strict maximum occupancy policy. For instance, a triple room can only accommodate three people. It seems children over 8 years old are charged an extra bed fee. It's advisable to call and confirm the details beforehand. My friend's 12-year-old child was either charged extra or had to book an additional room.
