The bedsheets had visible stains, which was quite disappointing and made the bed feel unhygienic and uncomfortable. For a hotel stay, I would expect the bedsheets to be clean and properly inspected before the room is given to guests. I hope the hotel can improve its housekeeping standards and ensure that stained linens are replaced promptly.

The hotel is situated in a good location, where the good foods surrounded us. The service by the staff were great too, we got early check in and late check out. The breakfast at level 1 was more in variety than the club access, but we appreciated the quietness and privacy. We didn’t manage to enjoy much of the club as we were out most of the time. We also grabbed food and it was a great experience. That said my complaints were the facilities - in particular the shower. The bathtub was small, the bathroom was so small. The water pressure is weak so I really didn’t like the entire bathroom experience. Do hope the hotel can do something to renovate it next time.

A lil bit annoying from the toilet. Making sound like someone knocking, from the pipeline. My kids feel a lil bit terrified from that sound. Is that a common sound there? But overall, its a very satisfying accomodation. my kids enjoy with the pool. Charlie, I came across one or two Charlie ants in the toilet and sauna room.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a wonderful family stay at Lone Pine! We absolutely loved the vibe here — peaceful, relaxing and beautifully surrounded by nature. It really suited us and was exactly the kind of getaway we enjoy. The breakfast was also one of our highlights — so good and we really enjoyed the variety! ❤️ The staff were warm, friendly and attentive throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. And a funny little note… my teenage daughter loved Lone Pine so much that she has already started planning her wedding here! 😅😂 I guess that says a lot about how much she enjoyed the place! Definitely a memorable stay and we would love to come back again. Highly recommended! 🌿✨

The room was really unique and interesting, an experience I'd never had before. The location is excellent too; you can walk to all the nearby photo-op spots, and the closest restaurants are all delicious. Walking to Clan Jetties is also no problem. The free bus stop is just across the street, which is super convenient. I highly recommend staying here for both the ambiance and location. The Indian staff members at the hotel were all very friendly and would greet us proactively. We arrived at the hotel around 12 PM, right after our flight. One of the staff members said we could check-in early at 1:30 PM, so we left our luggage at the front desk and went out for lunch, thinking we could come back, change, and head out for some sightseeing and photos. However, when we returned at the appointed time, a different female staff member told us we couldn't check in until 2:30 PM. I simply mentioned that I was previously told we could check in at 1:30 PM, and she immediately became upset, telling me not to pressure or rush her. To accommodate her mood, my family of three quietly sat with her in the lobby for half an hour. After that, she simply announced that it was time to check in, without having received any calls or anything – it was just the scheduled time. All the other staff members at this hotel were very enthusiastic, but she was always unhappy and gave us a cold shoulder whenever we saw her. I hope she can find some happiness. I understand that the official check-in time is 3 PM. I was just trying to discuss an earlier check-in. If I had been told from the start that early check-in wasn't possible, I would have taken a taxi to a more distant area to explore and returned later. Travel time is limited, and I want to plan my trips more efficiently, not waste time waiting in a hotel lobby to check in. I'm not here to accompany her at work, and I hope she can be more professional and consider the needs of travelers. I really hope other guests staying here don't encounter her; everything else was perfect.

The booking thru trip.com was super convenient… I booked this place just for a quick transit and because it is sooooo cheap. Won’t complaint much as I could have a good sleep and wake up fresh the next morning. Hotel provided basic amenities - one mineral water and a soap (small size for traveller). But what I appreciate much is there is someone who opened the door as I arrived around 12:30am after midnight (following the ETS arrival time). Getting the grab to and from this hotel was also easy. There is an iron and iron board for common use downstair - rasa Macam duduk di asrama…

Had a really pleasant stay at Angsana Teluk Bahang! 🌴 The check-in process was a little slow, but the staff were very professional, helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The amenities and facilities are really top-notch — there’s so much to do! They have a game area, kids’ playroom, kids’ pool, infinity pool and even a private beach. They also have a fire show on weekends, which was a nice touch. The resort has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views. Our room was very clean, and the housekeeping service was fast and efficient. Breakfast was one of the highlights — lots of choices, including a kids’ corner with kid-friendly menu options. We had breakfast twice and the menu was different on both days, so there was plenty of variety. Some dishes were a little salty for my taste, but overall the breakfast was really good. And the teh tarik + pastries was especially delicious! ☕️ Overall, a great place for a relaxing family/ couple getaway. Would definitely consider coming back! ❤️

This hotel is an excellent introduction to Penang as it was for me on my first day in town exploring and getting to know the main city area. Close to downtown center the hotel provides an ideal location for explorers who want to be close to all the major sites Penang has to offer. In the immediate area is George Town with venues including the Clan Jetties, UNESCO heritage sites, Armenian Street and a vast array of street art all worth stopping to visit. The hotel itself is clean and tidy with helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to help accommodate me upon my early arrival (holding my luggage until check in time). The room was comfortable and for amenities there was an onsite laundry room that helped ensured traveler like me had the opportunity to refresh their baggage for the next adventures ahead. As a heads up to future travelers: the hotel is located near some stunning mosques that although were great to visit, do have prayer sessions throughout the day and night which all hotel travelers can clearly hear in their rooms. Not recommended for light sleepers or anyone who minds the sound. Overall the hotel was a great place to start my Penang stay and exploration.

We booked PARKROYAL Penang through Trip.com for our little daughter’s 4th birthday, and we honestly had a wonderful stay. I wasn’t sure if booking through Trip.com would make any difference in terms of service, but the hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly, warm and helpful throughout our stay. The highlight for us was the little birthday surprise for our daughter. 🎂❤️ The hotel prepared a lovely birthday cake for her, which was such a sweet gesture and really made her day. It may seem like a small thing, but for us as parents, it made the trip extra special. The hotel is also very family-friendly. The beach is right there, the swimming pools and kids’ facilities kept our daughter entertained, and there are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, so it was quite convenient. The location is slightly away from the busier parts of Penang, but personally I liked that. It gave us a more relaxed holiday atmosphere, which was exactly what we wanted for a family trip. Most importantly, the service really stood out. Everyone we met was genuinely welcoming and attentive, and we felt well taken care of from check-in until check-out.
