The Monastery Trail Petra

When visiting Petra, a lot of people don’t do the hike to the Petra Monastery which is a real shame. The trail took us 3 hours there and return with total 8km of walking and hiking to the top of mountain. From the Treasury to the start of Monastery 800+ steps, we passed many great views along the way, the Street of Facades, the Treatre, the Colonnaded Street and the Great Temple. The trail is steep and uphill but the reward is worth it!!!
