Ancient winds sweep through the Yuping Academy

Shiping Museum was originally Yuping Academy, an important part of the national protected Wenmiao architectural complex. It is a three-entry quadrangle courtyard with a total area of about 2500 square meters. The main gate bears the inscription 'Yuping Academy', and the second gate is the majestic and time-worn Longmen Archway! The entire academy features overhanging eaves and upturned corners, carved beams and painted rafters, ancient trees surrounding the walls, and exquisite architecture with a grand and simple style! Just by visiting one academy, one can already appreciate the uniqueness of Shiping ancient town, no wonder it is highly recommended by 'National Geographic' as a treasure trove!
