Chapel Bridge
#celebratewithtrip
We visited world's oldest truss bridge and happily ticked one item off our bucket list. What's more to say, the main landmark in Luzern. This bridge restored after a fire in the 90s still has some of the original paintings left in it. It's at the centre of town connecting the two banks and looks wonderful with the water tower beside it. Beautiful ambience. A bridge on a river with colourful flowers surrounded.

🇨🇭 Chapel Bridge @ Lucerne
#hiddengems
Located in the heart of Lucerne's Old Town and spans the Reuss River, the Chapel Bridge is one of the most iconic landmarks in Lucerne. The bridge is one of the oldest wooden covered bridges in Europe and dates back to the 14th century. It has undergone several reconstructions over the centuries. In 1993, a large portion of the bridge was destroyed by a fire, but extensive restoration efforts were made to rebuild it to its former glory. We thoroughly enjoyed strolling across the Chapel Bridge, soaking up the beautiful views, and exploring the Old Town on both sides of the river.

Chapel Bridge was one of the first spectacular sights when we exit out of the Lucerne Train station at Switzerland. The bridge with the lake below it was so scenic altogether. We had to stay for awhile to absorb in the beautiful scenery. We of course had to take the chance to walk along the bridge. The interior structure of the bridge looked awesome too.

Switzerland Lucerne Jesuit Church
The Jesuit Church of Lucerne in Switzerland is a Roman Catholic church built by Jesuit monks from 1666 to 1677. It is one of the oldest Baroque buildings in Lucerne. It is located on Bahnhofstrasse in the center of Lucerne, near the famous landmark Water Tower and Flower Bridge.
Here is a free admission and located in a transportation hub. It is highly recommended to visit. Tired tourists can rest here, and there will also be regular organ music performances. The interior of the church is gorgeously decorated, including a huge dome and murals. At the same time, the church also preserves many precious artworks. The beautiful scenery around the church is pleasing to the eye and loved by many tourists.
After renovation, the magnificent decoration of this place has been restored. You can sit here when passing by, and it is conveniently located near the river. In addition, the Lucerne Lantern Festival is also held here. The walls and dome inside the church are illuminated with modern lights, making it particularly mysterious and beautiful. Switzerland Travel | Audrey Hepburn's Wedding Venue - Lucerne
"If there is a heaven, this is the entrance to heaven."
This is a small town in central Switzerland, beautiful, clear and peaceful. Compared to Lucerne, I prefer its other dreamy name - Lucerne.
The crystal-clear Lake Lucerne, with picturesque scenery, reflects the blue waves on the buildings along the lake. A delightful journey of lake and mountain scenery begins here.
The romantic Water Tower Flower Bridge is the oldest wooden bridge still in existence in Europe, like a blooming rose corridor that never withers, gently and romantically flowing in the Lake Lucerne.
The long years have given this city an unreal beauty, and it lives up to its reputation by satisfying all the fantasies of beauty that people have. Even the angelic Audrey Hepburn chose this place as the wedding venue to witness love.
If you are traveling to Switzerland, don't miss Lucerne.
