Trip Moments Recommendations
#Nusa Lembongan Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
Nusa Lembongan
Engage a 3D2N package for tour around the nusa islands! It is convenient and well prepared.
Devil’s tear and blue lagoon are especially beautiful.
Transport is with either motorcycle or the mini truck in the photo. A unique experience ☺️
The whole island is relaxing and the food are good. Not exactly cheap, but the vibe and atmosphere are worth it!
Good to spent 3 days at the nusa islands!
Ideas for trip to Bali with friends
There’s so much to explore at Bali and one of the only few places to see mola-mola. Here are some consideration for you and your friends!
1) take a boat from Sanur Harbour to Nusa Lembongan, go for some fun dives/snorkelling at the manta point. Cross over the yellow bridge to a town with no car and just motorcycles. Check out the sunset at beach club. Nice music, chill vibes, cool weather
2)ubud for ATV and white water rafting. It’s a fun activities that my friends and I enjoyed!
3) Finns Beach Club at Canggu serve nice food and has good vibes
Take the rest of your time to unwind and recharge at your villa.
Nusa Lembongan 🦎🏝️
With Bali being quite popular with tourists, this tiny little island is probably one of the best places to go for a more relaxed island-life styled holiday! The easiest way to get around is by bike as there are no taxis and cars here. There are also ‘buggy’ trucks to hire that can take you anywhere you want to go. The island is stunning, and its sunset views are not to be missed! #islandlife #balitravel #beachlife
We only paid $60/night for this villa 😍
#balitrip 🏡 Address: Stardust Villas — Banjar Pegadungan Jungutbatu, Kec. Nusa Penida Kabupaten Klungkung, 80771, Nusa Lembongan.
Okay if you're visiting bali, you know its a must to visit Nusa Penida which is the island 30mins away from bali — This is where the famous beach and photo-spots are, this is also where you could do tours and snorkelling.
Instead of staying on the main island we decided to book the accomodation for Nusa Lembongan which is a 15mins boat ride.
This is a pretty new villa so its abit hard to find on google maps. But im honestly so happy i've found this place cause it's GORGEOUS. The view from our room and pool is just 💯. The room is spacious and clean too.
I really like the little terrace we have with the seats which are perfect for watching the sunset & chilling in the morning.
This hotel comes with free breakfast you can choose between 4 different options + either a fruit platter or juice & coffee or tea. Which is honestly so value for your money 🙈
There's also a small mini mart about 5mins walk from the villa, and 2 different restaurant to eat at. The hotel also has a restaurant too if you don't wanna stray away.
I would say the only downside is that it's far from the main area since its up on a hill, however this is perfect if you're looking for a chill stay-in holiday hehehe.
Yellow Bridge, Nusa Lembongan, Bali
#wecreate
The Yellow Bridge in Nusa Ceningan is a significant landmark and a popular attraction among visitors. This iconic bridge connects the islands of Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan in Bali, Indonesia. It serves as a vital transportation link for locals and tourists alike.
The Yellow Bridge offers breathtaking views of the surrounding turquoise waters and scenic landscapes. Walking or riding a scooter across the bridge allows you to appreciate the beauty of the ocean and the vibrant colors of the area. The bridge is relatively narrow, so it's important to be cautious and considerate of other pedestrians and vehicles while crossing
Visitors can spend some time exploring the nearby areas on both Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Lembongan. There are charming cafes, restaurants, and viewpoints to enjoy, providing a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

The Island of Nusa Lembongan🇮🇩
📍Nusa Lembongan & Nusa Penida!
Nusa Lembongan has flown by. We’ve spent 5 nights here and it barely felt like 2!
Almost everyday we picked a beach club and absolutely chilled. We found a cafe (B’Fresh) that we visited everyday because it was so cheap & delicious. We discovered our love for Bintang beers (especially lemon Bintang). And we even found an amazing donut place on the island. We had scorching hot days in the sun and thundering, rainy nights.
The highlight of our trip was our last day where we took a day trip to Nusa Penida. We stopped at a few different tourist spots; the famous Kelingking beach that looks like a cute dinosaur, broken beach which has the bluest water, Angel Billabong & Crystal Bay. We got lucky and were put in a lovely group of friendly people from all over the world. We all took turns playing music that encapsulates each of our countries (we chose Dizzee Rascal’s ‘Bonkers’ and The Streets’ ‘Fit but you know it’ for Britain😂🇬🇧). It was a really great day!
Other than a day trip to Nusa Penida, that isn’t too much to do in Nusa Lembongan. There’s a few sights on the island, but if you don’t drive a scooter, they’re pretty hard to get to. If you’re tight on time, 3 nights would definitely be enough :)

Bali trip to the Blue Dream Island, tears of the devil 💧
⬇️ One of the famous attractions in Blue Dream Island.
Devil's Tear 💧 is a small circular cliff with an opening formed by year-round seawater erosion. At the bottom of the cliff, there are caves eroded by seawater. Under pressure, the waves can reach up to 20-30 meters high during high tide. When the sunlight shines, rainbows form in the mist, and the contrast between the calm sea and the high tide is the most impressive sight, making people marvel at the awe-inspiring power of nature.
Surrounded by bumpy reefs, just like tears dripping down 💧, it perfectly matches the name and is worth a visit.
❗️It should be noted that due to the high waves and heavy force, one must be careful when taking photos or enjoying the scenery with the Devil's Tears, otherwise it is very likely to be swept into the sea by the stirred up waves.
Went to Bali once, I regret it!!
Regret not coming to such a beautiful place earlier, Bali is really too beautiful and fun.
🌟Accommodation recommendation
1️⃣Ubud is 1.5 hours away from the airport and close to attractions in the north.
The northern route is a great place to experience the strong cultural and artistic atmosphere.
2️⃣Nusa Dua Beach, 20 minutes from the airport.
There are many hotels, experience water sports, and watch the sunrise over the sea.
3️⃣Uluwatu, 20 minutes from the airport.
Luxury hotels are the main attraction, with amazing cliffside ocean views.
4️⃣Golden Bay Beach is 15 minutes away from the airport.
Bali's most beautiful sunset, not suitable for swimming due to strong winds and waves.
5️⃣Kuta/Shuimingyang, 20 minutes from the airport.
Restaurant and bar are very lively, surfing paradise, watching the sunset.
🌟Popular must-play
1️⃣Temple of Poseidon, isolated at sea during high tide, only connected to the land during low tide.
2️⃣Water Temple, a stunning temple on the water, with a background image of 50,000 Indonesian rupiahs.
3️⃣The Uluwatu Temple, built on a cliff by the sea, is very spectacular.
4️⃣The same terraced fields as seen in Jay Chou's "Chrysanthemum Terrace" MV in Dege Laran Terraces.
5️⃣Jingda Mani volcano, with Badur volcano and Badur Lake.
🌟Blue Dream Island (Accommodation Available/Crystal Clear Sea Water/Diving)
The seawater is clear and blue, suitable for diving, surfing, kayaking, and a day trip to the sea.
Traveling can also include accommodation.
1️⃣Dreamy beach, the most famous beach on Blue Dream Island, perfect for surfing.
2️⃣Mangrove forest, you can enter the interior by boat, the ecology is very good.
3️⃣Blue Dream Island, the snorkeling water is very clear, you can see many corals and schools of fish.
4️⃣Jin Yin Island, cross the yellow bridge from Blue Dream Island, and the opposite bank is Jin Yin Island.
🌟Peneda Island (INS famous island/Elf Beach)
A very primitive island with magnificent scenery, divided into the west and east lines, with more scenic spots on the west line.
1️⃣Elf falling off a cliff, recently popular, looks like a dinosaur when filmed from above and falling down.
2️⃣Angel bath, a pool surrounded by rocks, a boundless natural swimming pool.
3️⃣Broken Beach, a hole was broken on the cliff, forming a natural arch bridge.
4️⃣Diamond Beach, the rocks on the beach are like scattered diamonds on the sea surface.
🌟Ubud (cultural atmosphere/art/healing)
The center of humanities and arts, with many yoga and carefully meditated healing activities, it is very convenient to visit the northern scenic spots.
1️⃣Ubud Palace, like a garden but smaller, with stone carving art.
2️⃣Internet-famous swing, swing on the cliff, amazing scenery, very exciting.
3️⃣Ubud Market, a traditional market where you can buy all kinds of local trinkets.
4️⃣Shenghou Forest Park, there is a temple with many monkeys, they will gather around when they see food.
When you come to Bali, you must go to the picturesque Penida Island for photos.
If you want to talk about the must-visit places in Bali, then it must be the recently popularized island of Nusa Penida. It's a new hot spot for taking photos, very natural and ecological, and it's an island off Bali. It comes with a built-in filter effect, allowing you to take great photos in minutes.
🚢Transportation: Take a boat from Shanur Port (40 minutes) (📷6)
Originally, we were familiar with Blue Dream Island. After watching "Devil's Tears" and testing it ourselves, we found that Penida Island is larger in area and has more scenic spots around the island. It is also adjacent to Blue Dream Island. If we talk about the filming location of the wallpaper of Apple's iPhone - Elf Beach, I believe everyone is familiar with it.
✏️[Gameplay Introduction]: 1️⃣ Tour around the island to see unique sea views (this is the place to be)
2️⃣Holy land: snorkeling, underwater walking, deep diving
❤️Touring around the island to see the scenic spots is relatively scattered. The scenic spots are mainly distributed in the west and east, each with its own unique features. One cannot help but admire the magical work of nature.
✅Western attractions: Elf Cliff, Broken Beach, Heavenly Bath.
✅Eastern attractions: Diamond Beach, Treehouse, Atu Beach.
I made a detailed map of tourist attractions myself, making it easy for everyone to see at a glance. (Image 7️⃣)
❤️At the same time, the water resources of Peneda Island are excellent, and it is also a holy place for snorkeling, where you can experience diving and swim with sea turtles and devil fish.
📌[Avoid Pitfalls Guide]:
1️⃣When boarding the boat from the pier, there may be water on the deck, so please wear shorts and sandals, otherwise your pants and shoes may get wet.
2️⃣For friends who get seasick on boats, please prepare seasickness medicine in advance. For those who get carsick, please prepare carsickness medicine, as the mountain roads on the island are a bit bumpy.
3️⃣Make sure to do physical sun protection, bring a jacket, a sun hat, sunscreen, as the UV rays on the island are strong.
4️⃣Although the UV rays are strong and the road is a bit bumpy, everything feels worth it after seeing the scenery.
Suggestion for everyone to spend at least two days. Next time, we will share how to explore Penida Island in depth.
A restaurant with a Bali temple twist
The Sampan Coffee Shop, Bar & Grilled
Address - Pulau Nusa Lembongan, Jungutbatu, Kec. Nusa Penida, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali 80771
Ambiance/Facilities - The restaurant has two open decks that you can sit. The restaurant has a very island vibe and within it you will see this Bali Temple style connected to it. The staff is very friendly and will welcome. They have a good variety of food chooses to choose from. The smoothies are also very interesting with a mix of variety of fruits. I came for breakfast and definitely would recommend their breakfast. They play nice trending music in the background.
Highlights - The island vibe with the Bali temple style in the restaurant was the highlight for me.
Avg. Price per Person - With a drink and food between 130 000 and 150 000 Indonesian rupees.
Rating - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Manta Ray and coral reef at Nusa Lembongan
#bucketlistreboot
Nusa Lembongan is a tiny laid back island in eastern side of Bali famous for seaweed farming and wonderful coral. This was my third time visiting this pristine island and I always fall in love more with this place each time.
Nusa Lembongan is just 45 minutes away from Bali by fast boat and renting a scooter makes it very easy to explore. While the island looks mesmerizing on road trip, getting inside the water makes it even more worthwhile. August is the best season to visit here and we were lucky to witness plenty of corals as well as spot turtles and manta as we went further. I felt very emotional that day as it was my first time seeing Manta.
You can book snorkeling easily from the island itself in a private or join in snorkeling trip. Trust me you don’t need to be a swimmer or an expert to experience this, so highly recommended to try snorkeling in this wonderful island.
One of the best beaches in Nusa Lembongan is the beautiful Dream Beach. A popular place for locals and tourists alike, Dream Beach is a must-see.
Dream Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches I visited, and trust me, I’ve seen quite a few beaches while traveling through Asia. The views are beautiful, the beach is clean and the water is crystal-clear – what can you possible ask for more?
The first viewpoint is right near the parking lot and is called Dream Beach Cliff. Here you can find two swings with awesome views towards Dream Beach. It’s a popular spot for photos so be patient.
There is another viewpoint on the other side of the beach with almost no tourists around.
While visiting Nusa Lembongan, make sure to also visit Nusa Ceningan. Click here to explore all the things to do in Nusa Ceningan.

Dream Beach Huts - Popular with vacationing couples and families, this mid-range all-huts hotel that opened in 2016 is one of the livelier options in the area. At the front of the hotel is a noisy reception area where loud music blasts from a sound system, only somewhat muffling the sound of conversations from guests who congregate in the busy, open-air restaurant off to one side. Just beyond the restaurant is a small shop and a pool deck with ocean views, followed by the hotel's 28 thatched-roof huts, spread out in rows along manicured gardens filled with stone pathways and lots of greenery, with a row of huts at the front of the property offering lovely views out over the ocean. Overall, the resort is compact and easy to get around, without a lot of stairs, but it can get noisy and busy during the day, especially as outside visitors can come and use the facilities here by paying a day fee.

Beach Hello Huts
Located in Lembongan Island, this beach front huts is just a ferry ride away from Bali. The huts featured basic daily necessities for a simple accommodation away from modern city life.
All the wooden huts have balcony with either hammock, beanbags or outdoor bed for guest to chill & relax whilst enjoying the beautiful white beach and the view of Mt Agung. Sunset is amazing, the sound of the waves is constant through out my stay as hut does not comes with TV (a good thing).
Hut is equipped with Air-condition & hot water shower-head. Food choices is simple in their eatery nearby, serving local Indonesian food.
Theres a few diving center nearby & they can make arrangement for activities like snorkelling or leisure dive.
Overall, a unique detox experience for me 🤗
Address - Dusun kaja, lembongan, Jl. Jungutbatu, nusa, Nusapenida, Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali 80771, Indonesia
Highlights - Beautiful Sunset. Peaceful. Eco Friendly Stay.

Enjoy the beautiful scenery and local food, appreciate the different regional customs and cultures and feel every moments of the holiday! 🇮🇩
Anyway, the trip to Lembongan is so wonderful!😋🥰

✌️Travel guide: Bali, Lembongan Island, Devil's Tears + Dream Beach Day Trip
🌟Highlights: Lembongan Island is really like its name. The seawater is dreamy and blue. It feels that every girl yearns for it. We played three times for snorkeling and walking on the sea floor. We can see a lot of tropical fish breams, but I only seem to know the clown fish bream. The coach will also feed the fish food to the bottom of the sea. You can feel the feeling of a large group of fish around .
It's best to bring a mask if you snorkel. People with seasickness must be mentally prepared, and the boat trip takes two to three hours. ☀️ Of course, sun protection is also important!
Awesome dive sites, Indigo Dream Island and Penida Island
When it comes to Bali, you probably think this is a honeymoon shrine. There are many luxury hotels and beautiful coastlines. The island has very good tourist resources. Rich, both Chinese and foreigners like it very much!
Most of the Chinese people come here to visit the attractions, soak the hotel, yes, three times, the same two times! But what are the reasons for so many foreigners here? The answer is: surfing & diving!
Bali's surfing and diving resources are definitely famous in the world! I am amazed at such a popular island, the seabed coral can be so well preserved, and you can see so many marine life at the dive sites near the islands! There are also mola mola (the sunfish) that make people around the world eagerly awaiting. Every July-October, a large number of diving enthusiasts will gather here, just to see the arrival of Miss Mola!
This time I lived on the Blue Dream Island for 5 days. Everyday life is diving and eating and drinking. I really feel that I have reached the peak of my life! Because the underwater of Lembongan Island and Penida Island is really beautiful! Even if I didnt take Ms. Mola (in fact, I saw that there was another group of friends to chase down the mola) but I could see so many well-preserved corals, colored underwater, various fish storms, Countless sea turtles, as well as a lot of manta, how do you feel the value of the fare!
Practical information
and Penida Island's underwater flow is quite large, not suitable for novice divers, it is recommended to be more than 50 bottles!
Indigo Dream Island and Penida Island are not very convenient for transportation. Friends who want to travel are advised to either go on a day trip or rent a motorcycle!
developed early, eating and lodging is still quite a lot, it is recommended to come to the diving friends to live in Lembongan Island! There are already some accommodation and dive shops in Penida Island, but the supporting facilities are not very good. There should be few choices for eating!
Bali has other good dive sites like Lulan Ben, suggesting that friends who want to go can arrange to sneak in Turan for two or three days!
The beautifully dilapidated Bali
Things you must do in Bali
part 1
Tanah Lot Temple
A temple built on the seaside rocks, very photogenic. During high tide, the rocks are surrounded by seawater, isolating the entire temple from the land, standing alone in the water; it is only connected to the land during low tide. You can walk over to visit during low tide, and you must respect local customs when visiting.
part 2
Devil's Tears on Nusa Lembongan
Nusa Lembongan is very small, with a rundown environment, some villages, and homestays, but the seaside scenery is truly stunning. Be careful when taking photos, and don't get swept away by the waves. From certain angles, you can see rainbows in the caves.
part 3
Afternoon Tea at Lover's Cliff
From Lover's Cliff, you have an unobstructed view of the sea, with the boundless ocean a clear azure. Having coffee at the nearby restaurant, feeling the sea breeze while enjoying afternoon tea is really comfortable.
part 4
Watch the Most Beautiful Sunset at Jimbaran Beach🌅
Jimbaran Beach is close to the airport, and while watching the sunset, you can also capture the scene of planes taking off and landing. There are open-air restaurants on the beach, where it's very comfortable to drink and have a barbecue right on the sand. Of course, the grilled corn from the roadside stalls is also very good.
PS: In Bali, there are particularly many motorcycle gangs, so it's best not to wear a small crossbody bag when going out, and try not to always hold your phone in your hand, as it can be easily snatched.
The 'Tears of God' - Nusa Lembongan Island
Nusa Lembongan is a small island located to the southeast of Bali. The waters around Nusa Lembongan are crystal clear and unpolluted, with underwater life visible as far as the eye can see. Most of the island's inhabitants make a living by cultivating seaweed, and it is also the base for Bali's seaweed farming.
Chinese Name Nusa Lembongan
Location Southeast of Bali
Characteristics Crystal clear and unpolluted waters
Related Bali's seaweed farming base
Opening Hours Open all day
Explore the Devil's Tears and the Nusa Lembongan Island Tour Guide
🌈 Nusa Lembongan is an offshore island southeast of Bali, as dreamy blue as its name suggests. Transportation on the island mainly consists of short shuttle vehicles and scooters. You can rent a scooter to go around the island, but the mountain roads are quite rough.
The main attractions are the Devil's Tears and the three major beaches, and you can also participate in snorkeling and mangrove tours. Staying on the island for 2-3 days is quite appropriate.
🌊 Actually, when I first arrived at Nusa Lembongan, I felt a bit disappointed, as it felt very rural and the roads were not good, and I hadn't seen the sunset yet.
The next day, I rented a scooter to go around the island and was pleasantly surprised. The sea is super blue, the cliffs are stunning, and Nusa Lembongan truly lives up to its beautiful name, with beautiful scenery everywhere.
📍Island Tour Route:
Mahana Point-Panorama Point-Mushroom Beach-SanghyangBay-Dream Beach-Devil’s Tear-G_Pan Corner
💟Mahana Point
I found Mahana Point on Google, and it's a super beautiful cliff with sea water. Watching the waves come in is spectacular.
There's a small shop where you can order something to eat and enjoy the endless scenery. There are quite a few people surfing and you can also jump into the sea, which is very exciting.
Nearby, across the other side, there is another area of the sea that is also super blue and beautiful. I really like this place.
🎈Panorama Point
I saw Panorama Point among the attractions, where you can climb up to overlook the coastline and panoramic view of Nusa Lembongan. I navigated directly there, and it's a very small viewing platform on the mountainside, easy to miss.
You can overlook the beach you just visited and the whole view of Nusa Lembongan. It's worth a visit when passing by, and it's quite beautiful.
🛥Mushroom Beach
I got lost navigating to Mushroom Beach, which is a small beach and also a pier for departures. Later, we also took a boat to Bali from here.
The area around Mushroom Beach has more group tourists and is a gathering and departure point. There are some restaurants and bars nearby, which is convenient.
☕️SanghyangBay Bar and Restaurant
This restaurant is right next to Mushroom Beach. It wasn't crowded in the afternoon, so I went to sit down and have a drink. It's quite comfortable to eat and watch the sea from the viewing seats.
I ordered a fried noodle dish with lots of big shrimp, which was good. It was gone in no time. I prefer Thai flavors over Indonesian flavors. They also have fish & chips, which go well with coffee.
🌟Dream Beach
Dream Beach is actually right next to the hotel, but the closer it was, the more I put it off until the end. I just passed by on my way to see the sunset at Devil's Tears.
The beach is suitable for swimming and surfing, and there are quite a few people on the beach. There are seaside hotels nearby with great views, and you can also watch the sunset here.
❤️Devil’s Tear
Devil's Tears is the most famous attraction on Nusa Lembongan. It's actually a cliff where the sea water has eroded to form a circular cave in the rock. The waves crashing on the rocks cause the sea water to spout along the rocks, like the tears of a devil.
The mist forms rainbows in the sunlight, which is very beautiful. Devil's Tears is also a great place to watch the sunset, watching the sun slowly sink into the sea level, and the waves gradually rise, which is very impressive.
🍕G_Pan Corner Bar and Grill Lembongan
After watching the sunset at Devil's Tears and heading back to the hotel, I stopped by this restaurant because it was doing good business. The food was surprisingly good, and the environment was quite elegant with dim lighting like a bar.
I ordered fried chicken wings, chicken skewers, and pizza. The pizza here is delicious, especially the Hawaiian pizza with lots of toppings. Although I was stuffed, I finished it all, very satisfying. The chicken skewers were large and could be paired with rice.
Once you get to Bali and Nusa Lembongan, you encounter more Chinese tourists, and most of the food here is divided into Indonesian flavors, with more Thai and Western cuisine.
Watching every sunset glow in Bali with you
Bali's sunset glow is like the brilliance of another world spilling onto earth,
so beautiful that it leaves one speechless. The radiant glow and the sea dyed in myriad colors
make me feel that all the grandiloquent descriptions cannot capture a fraction of its beauty.
People only talk about the sunrise trek at Bromo,
but how many have truly appreciated its sunset?
Honestly, the sunset at Bromo is the most surprising to me,
even a bit of luck that is hard to come by.
I hope to share this beauty and fortune with every destined person.

Bali 🇮🇩 The day in Nusa Lembongan
We reached sanur port about 8AM to catch a ferry to this beautiful island.
Place to visit:
1. Jungutbatu Beach
2. Devil’s Tears
3.Yellow Bridge
4.Dream Beach
#Nusa Lembongan #friendshipgoals #Travel #Beach Lover
Day trip at Nusa Lembongan
Start the trip with a 30-45min ferry ride from Sanur! our first stop is a taking a “sampan” along the mangrove. It was a relaxing experience. For more interesting ride, ask the guide if you could have a try at rolling the sampan😊. kayaking is also available.
The next stop is the blue lagoon. Along the way, we stopped by a high point on the island or an aerial view photo. The blue lagoon lives up to its name. Very pretty photo spot. Could spent at least 15min sitting and listening to the waves.

Nusa Lembongan: A calmer slice of Bali Paradise
Nusa Lembongan(and it's smaller and bigger siblings, Ceningan and Penida), are absolute must-sees on your Bali trip. I spent 4 days on Lembongan, opting to escape the peak season madness of Bali and wish I had stayed longer. There is much to do and see. Almost every hotel on the island will be able to arrange a variety of day trips (Snorkeling, Mangrove Tours, Penida Day Tours, Manta Ray Snorkeling etc). Renting motorbikes to get around is easy-peasy (please wear a helmet! The rule is not strictly enforced but the number of folks I saw tumbling off bikes on the rocky roads...). A bike is the easiest way to get around and see all the beaches. Crossing the Yellow Bridge onto Nusa Ceningan is a fun experience, and worth it for Secret Point beach and Mahanas Surfing point and cliff jump. Honestly, a motorbike and Google maps is your best friend for exploring Lembongan and Ceningan. Just select a point of interest and off you go!
I've attached photos of my favourite spots on all three islands.
Travel Notes:
-If you're traveling at peak season, expect spots like Kelinge beach to be a little crowded.
-You MUST pre-book your ferry transfer from Sanur on Bali to get to Lembongan at peak season. I booked online with The Lembongan Traveler who use Dstar Ferries. They arrange pick up and drop off on both ends of your travel and. Easy and affordable.
-Don't take large suitcases. It's just inconvenient for everyone around you, and the boat guys will have to carry your heavy luggage over their heads and wade through the shallows to get it onto the island. Take just what you need in a backpack. There are places in Sanur near the ferry offices to leave large luggage for a small daily fee.
-Wear flip-flops or water-friendly footwear for your transfer to the island. There is no jetty to get onto Lembongan, so you will wade about 50m through the shallows and the coral can be a bit sharp.
That's it, I think. Enjoy the photos!
