Raw Kitchen Hall @ KL
Raw Kitchen Hall located at ground floor of Else Hotel KL and nearby the Petaling Street. It's has very beautiful lighting with nice ambiance and very classy.
The signature dish is called Black Mama. This dish is cooked with squid ink and topped with the raw egg yolks with prawn aside.
They are quite full during weekend so make sure you have do a reservation online before you ahead to this restaurant. They do have limit dining hours which is 1 hours and 45 mins as their table turnover is very high, so it's quite rush after finished the eating need to leave already as the table already reserve to the next customer.
The only drawback is the parking, they don't have their own parking place , you need to park at besides building or park at the nearby open space parking central market and walk few mins to the restaurant. But anyway is a great place for a romantic date night.

🐟 Cafe Hoppin': UpperDeck KL [Kuala Lumpur]
Address:
158-1, Jalan Petaling, City Centre, 50000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
UpperDeck KL was a gem to us. There's not much buzz about it, so it's not as packed as the rest of the places here at Pasar Seni.
The interior was spacious and well-lit, and the servers were very attentive to our orders.
The highlight was the Tandoori Sea Bass - it comes with rich and creamy mash potato, and watermelon yogurt greens. Something fresh, and also delightful as tandoori fish is not something you'd come by often!
Pair it with our lychee rose kombucha, and it was a perfect lunch for the day!

This Hainan coffee shop serving pork free meal and drinks. Early morning, we can see working peoples, or old folks with friends.

Their Food covers mostly Malaysian favorite, from popular breakfast soft boiled egg with toasted bread in kaya & butter to nasi lemak, Penang assam laksa, Penang prawn noodle soup, Chicken hor fun soup, as well as small dim sum selection including chicken glutinous rice aka loh mai gai, lotus paste bun, red bean bun and lao shar bao.
Good morning kopitiam vibes there.
Petaling Street Market 👣👍🏻
A lively street market that is an icon of KL's Chinatown with hundreds of stalls selling food, souvenirs, toys, counterfeit designer goods, shoes, clothes, and so much more! 😍
Only the main street is a covered walk way, from the entrance arch to the back arch but the stalls are located at a crossroad. Most stalls operate from morning until night. There have fake branded goods, clothes, trinkets, souvenirs, flowers etc. Prices depend on how good your bargaining power is. Wholesaler shops are in this area too. 👍🏻
There are plenty of nice food here whether its street food, cafes or restaurants. Just need to Google for the best. There are non halal and halal food as well. All my favourites are here that is fresh soy drink, sweet potato balls and currypuff. 😋
Some are worth making a trip although parking is a headache. Need to park a little further and walk. Nearby buildings carpark are limited. 👣
Worth a visit 💋

Street Art of Kuala Lumpur
One of the main reasons to visit the capital of Malaysia is the huge amount of street art on the streets of the city. It is very diverse here: there are drawings in the national style, and there are just funny pictures. But the most important thing is that there is a lot of it and it is very interesting.
Tips for visiting: most of the drawings you can find near Petaling Street. Go for a walk and don't forget to look up 😉

The amazing old сity of Kuala Lumpur
These narrow streets can impress anyone: old houses, cozy cafes and a real Malaysian flavor everywhere. This is the place I fell in love with and now I advise everyone!
If you find yourself in the capital of Malaysia, I recommend starting your walk from the most famous tourist street of the city - Petaling street. To be honest, there are too many people on the street itself and it's very noisy, so just go for a walk through the neighboring streets and enjoy the city.

Petaling Street & Kwai Cai Hong @ KL
I had stayed in Kuala Lumpur for 4 years in many years ago during my university time, my only impression to Petaling Street is a “pasar malam” selling counterfeit products by foreigner workers. As time passed, I re-visited again this year with my partner, it was so much different from last time. No doubt the aforesaid is still the same, additionally it became a street art with the new Kwai Cai Hong (鬼仔巷) which this is something we couldn’t really see and feel in our daily city life. I feel their 用心 and I appreciate it. Pay a one or two hours to visit here if by chance you travel to KL. 😜
note: you can easily Google the location by typing their names
Petaling Street a good bargain place 🛍️👕⌚
A must visit street in KL for tourists and travelers as this is the place to shop and window shopping. We can get anything here from street foods, souvenirs, bags, clothes, perfumes, copy grade A leathers, watches, fruits and many more.
In my teenage years, i used to come here to buy DVDs/VCDs with a good bargained. What a nostalgia! 🥺
This time i came with my son to reminisce and teached him some life lessons. Not much had changed at this area, they still sell the same goods like old days sans the DVDs.

Petaling Street Market is a covered market in the Chinatown area of Kuala Lumpur, and is around 350 meters 5 minutes walk from MRT/LRT Pasar Seni station.
The operating time is around 1000 onward, vendors then will come to set up their stalls. But for some others restaurants or cafes will be early.
Petaling Street has developed into a colourful tourist oriented shopping area, with shops and stalls selling mostly clothes, bags, watches, souvenirs and many more for you to explore.
The market itself consists of a single main street, with 2 sided streets, where vendors sell mostly cooked food, fruits and vegetables.
You can find some good foods around here, like the ducks, soya beans and many more.

Delicious Desserts at Flaon in KL Chinatown
If you’re looking for a nice cafe to enjoy some coffee and desserts, check out the Petaling Street outlet of Flaon Cafe, located in KL’s Chinatown. A short walk from Pasar Seni LRT, you can identify it by its stone exterior - the entrance feels like a hole in a wall.
Flaon is a minimalistic and artsy little space, with mostly open communal seating. They sell 3 kinds of desserts here: soufflé pudding roll, specialty flan and pudding layer cake. The desserts are all so pretty and instagrammable, but they are also delicious too!
The Earl Grey Soufflé Roll was my favourite! It comes with soft earl grey soufflé sponge, fragrant earl grey cream and an earl grey pudding cube in the middle. Despite it being full Earl Grey, I find it palatable even for non-earl grey lovers because it’s strong but not that intense/bitter. The cookie crumbs on top also provided a nice textural contrast.
The Rose & Litchi Pudding Cake comes with alternating layers of fluffy rose sponge and rose lychee pudding, topped with fragrant rose cream and lychee jelly.
The Chateau de Creme Caramel is their signature flan enclosed within a caramel shell. The custard was firm and creamy, but the dome was not brittle as I expected.
