FFeiladuosasimayiThis hotel is super convenient, located very close to Jiefangbei, the subway station, and the ferry terminal across the river. Chongqing itself felt a bit overwhelming for me, too crowded and bustling. But the hotel was incredibly cozy, and the butler service was exceptional. They set up a chat group with us and recommended so many great places to eat and visit every day. They even helped us retrieve our packages. The service here was definitely the most attentive I've ever experienced. You'll understand once you stay here. The staff, especially the ladies, were so warm and always ready to help. My child particularly loved the big bathtub, and the cleanliness was a plus.

It was such an emotional boost. Every morning I’d spend ages in the restaurant, just feasting (so good!). Waiting for the lion dance and various gods to appear, and getting red envelopes from them (the lions and gods would interact with guests at each table in the restaurant). The breakfast pastries had different delightful touches every day, which made me so happy.
In the evenings, the two bars had incredible views, giving off a vibe of extravagant decadence. I just loved indulging and chilling out every day.
Service was truly responsive to every request, always thorough, patient, gentle, and never annoyed. They were there whenever you needed them, but without being overly enthusiastic or overwhelming. The balance was just perfect – that’s a huge plus!
On checkout day, an important document accidentally blew under the car. The security guard and the manager at the entrance got down on the ground, blowing and fishing it out for me. Super impressive!
I have to praise the complimentary Chongqing noodles in the room. Regent's noodles really do have a unique texture! They’re something special! I had to slurp down a bowl every morning at breakfast. When I left, I ended up buying three extra boxes…
These few days in the bustling city of Chongqing were truly joyful! Everywhere I went, I had this illusion that I was about to become rich (just kidding, but not really). The massive golden tree, the auspicious lions, all sorts of gold ingots, gold coin chocolates, a well-stocked mini-bar with drinks, and various Chongqing snacks provided daily!
As someone in advertising, I have to say the ambiance here is masterfully done. The brand positioning is so well maintained. Full of emotional value ✅.
PS. The room facilities are new and complete, and cleanliness is excellent, no complaints. If I had to pick something, maybe the central air conditioning was a bit too warm.

GGuest UserGetting this hotel for around 200 yuan (RMB) was an absolute steal! The room smelled great too, and the hotel itself is very new. It features smart home technology throughout, and the bedding was super comfortable! We ended up staying for three nights straight, even trying out three different room types! The transportation is incredibly convenient, right near the Xiaoshizi subway station. Being on the 28th floor, the views were absolutely fantastic! The only downside was that it was a bit noisy. One side was under renovation, and the subway crossing the bridge on the other side was a bit loud (though the hotel front desk did call us beforehand to warn us about the construction noise from the building opposite). The front desk lady was super nice; she even added me on WeChat to give directions, which was way more helpful than map navigation. I initially planned to just stay one night to try it out, but we ended up staying for three!

AAnonymous Userlovely hostel with a nice cafe nearby (1 coffee is offered as part of the stay). the hostel also has a common room with a small kitchen and a rooftop terrace. it’s super central and the lady running it is super sweet. there is free tea and the owner bakes 4 kinds of bread that you can toast for breakfast. she also made a booklet with restaurant and sightseeing tips.
i had a very good time there, thank you again! :)

GGuest UserLocated on the same floor as the Chongqing Eye observation deck in Jiefangbei, the 270-degree night view of Chongqing made me gasp the moment I walked in! The room is spacious, with a wet/dry separated bathroom, a bathtub, a fridge, and smart curtains… Disposable slippers, toothbrushes, combs, shower caps, cotton swabs are all provided. It's in the city center, Jiefangbei, making it convenient to visit all attractions and close to the metro station! The bedding is super soft and cozy – once you lie down, you won't want to get up. The soundproofing is also excellent, so you don't have to worry about being disturbed at all.

A very warm welcome from the reception staff. The room I was given (17th floor) was perfect. Spacious, well-furnished and equipped, bright, clean, and comfortable. A quiet and pleasant place if you're not constantly sightseeing. Beautiful view of the city. Very good quality bedding. Very clean and comfortable sheets, duvets, and pillows. Good-sized bathroom. Very clean as well. Good quality bath towels. The wall-mounted towel/clothes rack is poorly placed above the toilet, which is neither practical nor hygienic. And the electric towel warmer wasn't working. The room is equipped with a hairdryer, electric kettle, small refrigerator, garment steamer, and small safe. Bottled water is provided daily. In addition to coffee (in the morning) and herbal tea (all day) available in the spacious lobby with its river view, there is also a microwave and ice maker. The room's Wi-Fi was excellent. The lighting was good, and the electrical outlets were compatible with European plugs without the need for an adapter. USB ports were also available. The central air conditioning was efficient and quiet. There was a large wall mirror at the entrance to the room. Drawbacks: 1. As a non-smoker, and having specifically requested a non-smoking room in my reservation, I found the lingering smell of smoke in the room upon arrival very unpleasant. 2. There was no dedicated luggage storage, as is common in many hotels in China; therefore, luggage was left open on the floor for the entire stay. 4. It's a shame there wasn't a small armchair and table to furnish the small mezzanine area of the room to better enjoy the view and the room's space. Bonus: Laundry service with four self-service washing machines on the 18th floor. Detergent provided. I really liked the drying area equipped with portable electric dryers, which are less damaging to clothes than regular tumble dryers. Breakfast restaurant: this is the only downside. Located on the 15th floor of the building (which houses several hotels). Buffet breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:00 am. The place is cozy with a lovely view. However, depending on the day and time of day, it can be cramped and noisy, too small to comfortably accommodate all the guests without enough proper high tables. As a result, I ended up having to share my table with noisy people chewing and burping, when all I wanted was to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. The buffet wasn't extraordinary, but it was decent and well-stocked. The gym area is in the same room, separated by a half-wall (I'm not even sure I can call it a gym when there are only four machines crammed together with no space around them, and where the food bin and the restaurant's dirty dish cart are also located. Forget about getting a workout in the morning!). It's a shame they don't offer a better, quieter breakfast area for this crucial moment at the start of the day. Overall, the value for money is still quite good, even if it's significantly more expensive than Chengdu, for example, for a hotel of the same standard.

GGuest UserStaying at Bolian Resort truly felt luxurious.
This was my first time experiencing a high end resort in China, and I chose Bolian over other options in the area, including Banyan Tree Hot Springs, with very high expectations. While it is not perfect, I’m glad to say that it does meet the standards of a luxury resort. The level of service and attention to detail, even with the language barrier, was comparable to what I’ve experienced at other top tier hotels like Park Hyatt.
First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the staff for fulfilling my personal request to have berries and chocolate prepared in my room. What really touched me was the towel art and flower petal decorations on the bed, thoughtfully arranged to mark a very personal occasion, which was celebrating my mental health recovery. Seeing the Mandarin character for “happy” placed on the bed felt very endearing. It was a small gesture, but one that felt genuinely kind and thoughtful.
Other aspects of the service were just as impressive. While I was away enjoying the Bolian hot spring spa, the staff prepared my room for the evening by lighting all the mini candles, mopping the floor, and creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere for my return. That level of attention to detail really stood out.
That said, I did notice a small oversight. The tea filter I had used for my pu’er tea was still left in the sink, which suggested that housekeeping may have been rushing, possibly knowing I would be returning sooner than expected. It was minor, but noticeable in an otherwise polished experience.
The hot spring amenities, both in the room and around the resort, were amazing. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained. I also appreciated how attentive the staff were at night, especially when guests were walking along the hot spring paths in the dark. The unexpected room upgrade was a lovely surprise as well, so thank you for that.
Overall, I had a very pleasant and restorative stay.
However, one thing that really affected my experience was the breakfast.
The breakfast was honestly disappointing for a resort of this standard. The options were limited, the presentation was not great, and the overall quality fell short of expectations. I have uploaded photos with this review in the hope that management can improve this area. To be frank, breakfast took away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay. Being served ONE CHICKEN FOOT as part of the spread was highly amusing, but not in a good way. I have had much better Chongqing noodles and dim sum at local eateries for a fraction of the price. For a meal priced at around 200 yuan, it felt hard to justify......This is where people often say not to eat at five star hotels because the better food is usually found on the streets. It was disappointing that Bolian’s breakfast ended up reinforcing this stereotype...
In summary, Bolian Resort shines when it comes to service, atmosphere, attentiveness, and hot spring facilities. With a serious improvement to the breakfast, it could easily become a truly excellent luxury experience.

CCake TequilaThe hotel's location is fantastic, right by Jiefangbei, and there's a CHAYAN YUESE (tea shop) right next door. The decor has a W-hotel vibe, which is really unique. The service is warm and friendly, and the breakfast is decent, even featuring Chongqing noodles. There's a revolving restaurant on the top floor. A great perk in the room is that the USB ports on the outlets support fast charging, but unfortunately, the TV doesn't support screen mirroring.

The appartement have a nice view on the skyline and the lightning city, the bed and bathroom is good and the amenities (washer etc) work well.
The Breakfast are not very good, it’s look better in picture and it’s from 7-11h but their is only few things after 9h45.
