Location is good. We arrived at 1pm and the hotel was kind enough to provide us with early check in, but it seems that we did not get our room with mountain view! The hotel does not switch on the aircon during this time and we had to open the balcony door to let the cold air in, else the room is stuffy, but it is noisy as it is facing the road. Room is clean and bed is comfortable too. Will come and stay again if I were to visit Jeju next time.

Getting here from the city center involves taking bus 510 and then about a ten-minute walk. However, there's a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it very convenient for exploring attractions near Seogwipo. They offer luggage storage, even utilizing a disused restaurant space specifically for this. The sea view rooms are well-located; I'd recommend requesting a higher floor for the best views, as my room was on the fifth. The room itself was just average; it felt quite cramped with two suitcases opened, and the plush carpet looked a bit tired. The bathroom had a shower, which I actually liked as it's quite uncommon in Jeju. There's an infinity pool on the 7th floor, though it does incur an extra charge. While the front desk staff's English was passable, most communication was still in Korean. Overall, it felt like a domestic budget hotel with a sea view, which is understandable given the price point.

Overall, we had a decent stay at Jeju Bolton Hotel. The location is very convenient, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the airport, which made traveling around Jeju quite practical.
The room was acceptable and had the basic amenities needed for a short stay. However, for a hotel that presents itself as high-end, some aspects were disappointing. One major downside was that the swimming pool required an extra fee even for hotel guests, which felt unreasonable for this category of hotel.
Another negative point was the housekeeping service. During our 4-night stay, the room was cleaned only twice, even though we requested housekeeping every day. This was below expectations and affected the overall experience.
The staff were polite and the stay was still comfortable overall, but the service and facilities did not fully match the standards expected from a premium hotel.
In summary, the hotel has a good location and decent comfort, but there is definitely room for improvement regarding service consistency and guest amenities.
Loved this hotel. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and really made the place. The rooms are pretty basic but comfortable and equipped with everything you need. The view is spectacular and it’s really peaceful. The pool area is lovely!
It’s 10k per hour for late checkout and they have full sized towels which seems to be rare in Korea. The breakfast was simple but decent, even for me with a gluten intolerance. Although the location isn’t great, they do have their own little Convenience store setup in the lobby to grab some drinks and snacks. The walk into town is about 15/20 minutes but there’s not much going on around there.

Located near Hamdeok Beach, the off-season price was great. The hotel is tucked away in an alley and has a parking tower, but there aren't many flat parking spaces and they're hard to get. There's a free public parking lot not too far away.
The front desk staff were very friendly and explained how to use the parking facilities.
The breakfast was a highlight – clean, hygienic, and with a diverse selection. Even though there was only one person working in the restaurant during the off-season, she was always smiling, which brightened my mood!
The room was large, but the design lacked a bit of privacy (perhaps suitable for couples). The toilet area with a clear glass partition was a bit awkward. There were no hangers provided in the room, and the power outlets were strangely placed and blocked by furniture. The sink was designed too low – I don't know who designed it, but they should be fired.
Overall, staff/breakfast get 5 stars, location 4, and room amenities/design 3. It would still be a good choice if visiting in the summer.

We stayed in a double plus single bed room facing the airport/ocean. It was a lovely view. Check in and check were both pretty smooth. Room size is okay for small family. Bathroom comes air heated bidet which is appreciative during cold months. The bed were very comfortable and we have a very restful night.
Location is seems to be surrounded by lots of restaurants catered to PRC tourists. Even walking on the street feels like we are in China.
Shops like Innisfree and Olive Young are just steps away from the entrance. It makes a good airport hotel as the drive is only 15mins. Hotel also provides free airport shuttle stating from 7am.

The hotel is located in downtown Jeju Island, directly opposite the Shilla Duty Free Shop. There are plenty of food and shopping options nearby, as well as a shuttle bus, but be sure to check the operating hours. The hotel lobby offers luggage storage, but you can only check in after 3 PM – that's an important point! The room size is decent, though the facilities are a bit old. Overall, it offers good value for money! They offer Chinese service at check-in and provide Olive Young discount coupons!
Around the hotel, you can find local Jeju delicacies like black pork, fried chicken, pork backbone soup, and abalone porridge. However, don't expect too much from the taste; none of it was particularly outstanding. A barbecue meal for two usually costs over 300 (Korean Won/Chinese Yuan, please specify if you know). There are several Olive Young stores nearby where you can get immediate tax refunds, which is quite convenient!
If you arrive at Jeju Airport on an early flight and don't know what to do, I suggest heading directly to Dongmun Market near the airport to kill some time. Seven Stars Street is also close by, with many sports brand stores!

It's right behind the airport, so it only takes 10 minutes to get to the car rental return. You can hear planes taking off, but it doesn't disturb your sleep. There's also a park right in front, which was great for walks along the coastal road.
The hotel seems a bit old, but it was clean and decent. Everything was satisfactory, except for the weak water pressure. 😀

DDayuangeFive-star review all around! The hotel's facilities are perfect. Even though the standard rooms aren't huge, they are clean and well-maintained. They have both indoor and outdoor pools, and the outdoor one is heated, so you can swim even in winter. Breakfast is a bit pricey, but it's really good.
GGuest UserThis guesthouse was absolutely wonderful, and we had a fantastic few days on Jeju Island. The two owners were incredibly kind and patiently guided us through the check-in process, explaining everything about the room and its amenities. The room itself was spotless, showing how much care the owners put into maintaining each guesthouse. Our favorite part was the huge window offering beautiful sea views and a glimpse of the walking trail outside. Even on a less sunny day, it was still incredibly picturesque.
We visited in early May, so the weather outside was a bit cool and windy, but the room was perfectly comfortable and even had floor heating. It was very quiet at night, making for a truly relaxing environment. The walking trail outside is also excellent; if you have time, definitely take a stroll there.
One thing to note is that there's no elevator. However, please don't let that deter you! My friend and I felt the stunning views were more than worth it after we arrived with our luggage. If you know you'll have a lot of luggage, I recommend contacting the owner beforehand to request a lower floor, as you can still enjoy the sea view from there. A big thank you to both hosts for their wonderful hospitality during our stay. Jeju Island is amazing, and we'll definitely be back to stay here again next time!

GGuest UserFirst of all - the perfect stay, favouriting. This is pretty much a two-floor townhouse with widest possible 3 bed rooms and all facilities included (plus three toilets and bath-tube). Very warm at winter. Very enjoyable stay.
A bit of details. The unit is a part of mini-city of similar houses around. It is built right in the forest. The architects were brave enough to keep original trees around, so your windows are looking directly into the forest - with all the singing birds, tree branches nearly touch your windows (btw, the third photo is from one of the windows). It is very silent place, with breathtaking volcano views.
From facilities point of view, the project looks like suffered from financial hardship - most of the things in the minicity that were planned - are still on the plan or were outsourced to another companies (though, I am sure, once the project is completed - the price will double at least). There is no restaurant as such (at the time of writing), at or even around the place; swimming pool is largely incomplete. The BBQ mini-room in the center of the house (which is directly under naked sky) totally rot beyond repair, but I admire designers decision to build it. Never saw anything like this before. I bet it can be rebuilt.
Deliveries to that area does not work - too far. So if you hungry at night - you don't have too much of options than a ramyon or cooking yourself (saying this, we discovered 이승악식당 next door - saved us greatly at lunch time). Gym equipment looked very rich, though the gym room is a bit disproportional in size - barely fits it all. Btw, we found a great table tennis table there.
Overall it's a great civilization escape. Few things to be planned ahead but waking up by the sun shining directly to your eyes - unbeatable. I believe it's the one, where wife's and husband's opinions differ :).
GGuest UserOur group of five (two families) spent 7 days in Jeju, staying at two hotels, and this was the first one we checked into. The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's about a 20-minute walk to Hamdeok Beach. On the plus side, there's a BHC fried chicken restaurant and a CU convenience store right next door. We were quite satisfied with the hotel's cleanliness and facilities; it was spotless and well-maintained.
However, to be honest, we were quite dissatisfied with the front desk service. No matter what the issue was, their immediate reaction seemed to be to say no. It felt as if they might have perceived us as being overly demanding Chinese guests. For example, in my sister's family's room, the toilet wouldn't flush in the morning (note: their toilets here are electronic with automatic flushing). When we contacted the front desk, they informed us that maintenance staff wouldn't be on duty until 11 AM, so the issue couldn't be addressed until then. Since everyone needed to use the restroom that morning, we kept pressing for a solution. Eventually, the front desk staff consulted with a nearby cleaning lady. The cleaning lady then simply turned around, picked up a plunger (which was conveniently located right next to the front desk, implying this is a common issue), and fixed the toilet in a matter of seconds.

YYouyouwuaimengmengdaFacilities: There's not much around here. Getting a taxi is difficult.
Hygiene: The room was clean.
Service: It's good enough that there was no discrimination.
Environment: The smoking area door in the lobby stinks terribly. I couldn't stand it every time I passed by.
There's not much to do in winter. Wouldn't really recommend it.
AAnonymous UserDo not get taken in by the photo. When we arrived, we were so shocked by how old the place looks compared to the picture. The lobby was empty, there's no one by the door at anytime, only the receptionist and they barely acknowledge you till you queue and reach them. They are not fluent in English or Chinese, barely able to communicate at all, till google translate. The room looks like the picture but doesn't look like the picture as well, everything is in the right place but it looks nothing like the pictures. Way less bright, way less glam, and everything is broken literally. Our tap is faulty, it's a struggle to use the basin everyday. The curtain fell and was lying on the floor. The hook for your towel is broken and dangling. The charging socket is broken and can't charge. The shower leaks water even if you're not using then rain shower. And they only allow request of additional 2 bottles of water. Mini bar is fully chargeable. There is no smart TV or any phone screen mimicking, so the TV is useless. You want to pull the curtains? Gotta climb up the tub and walk on it and pull. All in all, very disappointing and not worth my money. It is considered affordable but tbh you could do better. I would've booked another hotel instantly if this was refundable 5 mins inside the room. 3 out of 10 for me.
