It is located about 30 minutes drive from Kuching city center. This center built in 1920 is actually not specifically for orangutans but is a treatment place for more than 1,000 wild animals.

very funny place and must visit in Kuching. can see the big semenggor. there only two feeding sessions,one in morning and in afternoon.

The administrator said: Time is written for people to see, orangutans can come or not (so it is luck to see how much). If there is a lot of forest food, they can not come. The administrator said that this is not a zoo, the zoo should not close the animals or pay attention to people.

Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Center (bahasa Indonesia: Pusat Rehabilitasi Satwa Liar Semenggoh) adalah sebuah pusat rehabilitasi dan peliaran kembali orangutan, yang terletak di Semenggoh, 24 km di sebelah selatan Kuching, ibu kota Serawak, Malaysia.Setidaknya terdapat 27 ekor orangutan setengah liar yang dipelihara di sana, yang waktu pemberian makannya adalah jam 9 pagi dan 3 sore. Untuk melihat-lihat keindahan hutan, terdapat dua jalur lintas tinjau alam, yaitu Masing Trail dan Brook's Pool Trail. Pemandu dapat disewa untuk para wisatawan. Pusat rehabilitasi ini dapat dicapai dengan bis atau taksi
