An older hotel, but the facilities are still complete and the room was pretty clean. You can't expect too much from an old hotel. It's best to take a Didi (ride-hailing service) from the station; don't just jump into a shared ride, you might get ripped off. It's just outside the city wall, and I personally think staying here is more comfortable than inside the wall. Among the performances, only the iron flower show is worth seeing, but you absolutely need to get there early to secure a good spot, otherwise, you won't be able to watch. The commercial streets are all pretty much the same!

The room was incredibly spacious and exceptionally bright. The breakfast spread was generous and absolutely delicious. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They even had a robot deliver breakfast vouchers and disposable cups to our room promptly. Even the housekeeping staff were attentive, proactively asking if we needed our room serviced. Complimentary parking was a huge plus. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers. Vienna Hotel will definitely be my top choice for future stays.

The public areas are spacious, the courtyard is beautiful, and they even have an ice maker. However, the in-room amenities are a bit minimalistic; there aren't many tables and chairs, and the bedside table doesn't have a Type-C port 😂. **Cleanliness:** It was very clean, and the bedding was quite comfortable. **Service:** The service was very enthusiastic and they were basically always ready to help. The restaurant food was excellent, especially the roasted lamb chops – they were incredibly fragrant. Breakfast was especially, exceptionally rich and even tastier than what you'd find at a five-star hotel. **Environment:** It's absolutely beautiful. After the rain, the green mountains outside the window were stunning, and on a sunny day, the forest was even more gorgeous. The entire room faced a misty, cloud-covered panorama, with majestic mountains so close you could almost touch them – an unbeatable view. When we left, the owner gave us a warm farewell, which felt very cozy. This was by far the most comfortable and pleasant stay during our entire road trip.

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and the environment is as quiet and beautiful as ever. I expected the special offer room to be run-down, but it far exceeded my expectations. While the facilities are a bit dated, the hygiene was exceptionally good. The sheets and duvet covers were clean and odorless. The hotel opens right onto the beach, making it perfect for morning and evening strolls along the boardwalk.

I booked a sunrise room, and unfortunately, it was cloudy both days. However, the sea view was still quite good; I could see it as soon as I pulled back the curtains, though the railing did obstruct the view a little. For the price, this place is probably very good value for money in this area. It's about a 10-minute bike ride to Xianluo Island. I'm not too picky about rooms, as long as the facilities and cleanliness are decent. I brought my own sheets and just used alcohol wipes for a quick clean upon check-in. For families with kids who want to play in the water and sand, it's convenient for washing and drying clothes, being close to a large balcony, clothes dry quickly and there's no dampness. You can walk down to the beach in about 3-5 minutes. According to the tide chart, you can even dig for shellfish in the sea right below the building; we went and dug up some small shrimp in the morning. Later, when we stayed downstream at Jinmenghaiwan, there was nothing to find. Also, during our stay, it wasn't peak season yet, so there weren't many people staying in the apartment building. If you like a lively atmosphere or are afraid of the dark, this complex is indeed a bit out of the way. It has its pros and cons. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the city center and next to a subway station, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were warm and thoughtful; they saw we had a child and gave us a complimentary upgrade, and even sent fruit to the room. Breakfast was also very good. Highly recommended.

Excellent hotel with great facilities and well furnished rooms that utiliss smart technology throughout. The Trip. com reservation included buffet breakfast, which was very good. A huge variety on offer with brewed coffee. The hotel offers various services which I found especially helpful. I had some documents to sign which required printing some A4 pages from a file on a mobile device and this was no problem - the reception were able to use Bluetooth. Very convenient! The hotel has a small gym with two treadmills and bike, which I made use of. The exercise bike in particular is high quality with a strong frame and steady resistance which provides a good workout. Adjacent to the gym is a laundry with high quality fast operating washing machines and a dryer -very convenient during winter. The laundry also features a comfortable sofa and table as well as a steam cleaner/press. The room itself is modern with some state of the art lighting, a smart sensor toilet, smart TV, ss well as electric powered curtains that opened out to a large window. The king bed was supremely comfortable with the necessary bedside controls and electric sockets. The hotel can be reached by foot from the train station in about 25 minutes. Overall this hotel is one of the best I've experienced on my trip in China and it is highly recommended if staying in Zhangjiakou.

The room and women's lockers were clean, but there were many dirty towels left in the resting area next to the hot springs pools. Customer service at the front desk wasn't very good this time when we wanted to go to the hot springs. The man working the front desk took a long time finding someone to accompany us to the hot springs, and when a lady finally came to accompany us there, she took us back to our rooms, instead, even though we had clearly told the man at the front desk we wanted to go to the hot springs. The employees didn't communicate with each other clearly,nor did they use common sense. When I first asked the front desk employee to accompany us to the hot springs, he said no and waved us away, but I knew it was complicated to get there and he had to tell the hot springs we were hotel guests, like what happened when I had stayed there before. It's only possible to communicate using a translation app here, since no employee speaks a single word of English, even. The restaurant's electronic menu is only in Chinese, too, so we needed to use a translation app to read the menu, also. They didn't light up all the lights in the hot springs area tonight, so it was much darker than when I had come here before. Regarding our hotel room, the refrigerator didn't work, even though it was plugged in, and the mattresses were hard.
