3-Star Hotels in Azuay, Ecuador

A sweet deal for $25/night in mid July 2026. Great customer service, good location, and some of the staff speak English. The rooms were mostly comfortable even for a tall person. Decent hot water and pressure in the showers (but slow and sometimes clogged drainage), televisions in the rooms that don't work as intended, reliable wifi albeit slow, nice views from the windows, free coffee water and tea, broken/malfunctioning lamps and lights in the rooms. The hotel sits on one end of a public square with just about everything you'd need on a daily basis within walking distance.

The manager Fredrick is the nice young man that will help you with all kinds of problems that might occur in Cuenca. He is super dedicated to his job and he is always there. Hard working and friendly. The hotel is a colonial mansion with all the modern amenities. No need for electronics to alter the nostalgic look and feel.
