3-Star Hotels in Johor, Malaysia

My friends and I stayed here recently and we were thoroughly impressed across the board. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very easy to get around. We were particularly happy with how exceptionally clean the rooms were. The service was top-notch—the staff were friendly and accommodating from check-in to check-out. With great amenities to top it off, it was a flawless 5-star experience. We will definitely be back!

The hotel's location is pretty good, quite close to the Singapore and Malaysia border, about a 20-minute walk. The facilities are decent for the price, and the staff are professional. The only downside is the noise from the many motorbikes nearby, as the soundproofing isn't great. It's suitable for a layover.

3day 2night solo trip to Johor bahru , Malaysia. To go to miilehill hotel, walk From city square, go to the opposite site Public Bank building, go up the walkway beside it, turn left, go pass a few building, you will see the wisma HYT, the hotel is next to a India garment shop. Check in time 3pm, very strict. They charge early fee if you want to check in before 3pm. But you can leave your bags at the lobby free, although there is no luggage tags given. You leave at your own risk. Cash deposit RM50, return to the guest when check out. Check out time is before 12noon, after that charge late check out fee. ChecK out is fuss free, hand in your room card, the receiptist talked to housekeeping through walkie-talkie, then return the cash RM50. Free wifi throughout the building, password sign placed on the check in counter. The building lift button, tallest level is 5, for room number start with 9. Room is clean, come with 1 hair dryer, 2 drinking water bottle, disposable tooth brush, tooth paste, shower cap. No disposable slipper amd mini fridge in the room. The water dispenser is in the hallway, near the lift lobby. Bathroom cum toilet is shared by the whole floor, 1 for men, 1 for women(2 wash basin, 2 toilet cum shower cubicle). You need to walk out from your room to go to the hallway, so bring your own slippers. The room card must keep in the cardholder for the electric to power on, cannot use some name card to put in the cardholder to the current on. Room cleaning upon request only, message through the hotel's Whatsapp number. I accidently changed the aircon to fan mode, I requested the help message at 12.30am, he came and helped to change back the setting, standing at the opening door, didn't come into the room. Good for respecting the cleanliness of the floor. The floor is laminated wood, so you can go bare foot, although I found it soapy and prefer to wear slippers.

The location was great but at night there's too many sound pollution as the hotel is located in front of a main street. Maybe there's less noise during weekdays. My other issue was the showerhead was not great. It had too much clog build up thus affecting the flow of water although the water pressure of the hotel was really good. Other than that, everything was great !

The price is good and there is a food street, convenience stores and a Watsons within the same shop lot area. Really good place! The room itself is a little run down, but not uncomfortable. The aircon goes down real cold and the water can go up to scorching hot. There’s a hairdryer. I would recommend you stay in a room with a window instead of a room without because the experience is so much better.

This was my first time staying at Hako Hotel JBCC, and I was a little disappointed to see water dripping from the ceiling as soon as I opened the door (see picture). However, overall it was pretty good, and the breakfast was decent too 😊

Very new and clean I took the studio It is very spacious with most the items for a studio apartment needed. Respond was a bit slow though via the number given by the app. But someone messaged me later and it went smoothly

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. We appreciated the hotel’s commitment to being eco-friendly and reducing plastic waste. For example, there were separate bins for recycling and wet waste, and no plastic bags were provided in the bins. Guests should bring their own laundry bag, as plastic laundry bags are not provided. Disposable Slippers are available upon request from the reception. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, making for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Breakfast was decent, with service available from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Another convenient feature was the water dispenser available on every floor, so guests can refill their bottles easily. It is recommended to bring your own reusable water bottle. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for travelers who appreciate environmentally friendly practices.

The hotel room was very clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable stay. However, the location of the room facing the park and main road made it quite noisy, especially during peak hours. If you’re sensitive to sound, I’d recommend requesting a room on a quieter side of the hotel. Overall, a good stay with excellent cleanliness, but noise can be an issue.

This is our first time staying here. The location is highly convenient, with shopping, food, massage, and a salon all nearby. The host's customer service responded very quickly. Everything in this condo is new, and our family is happy to stay here. The only issue is the lack of kitchen utensils—no cups, no plates, no bowls. If you order food to the condo and want to eat there, it's not very convenient. Fortunately, the place is accessible to many locations and is kept clean, so we would still like to book here again.
