Stayed for a night in Malacca and booked a deluxe twin room, but I wasn't too happy with the room on the first floor. After speaking with the front desk staff, I paid a little extra to upgrade to an executive suite. Overall, the executive suite's facilities were fantastic. The hotel's location is also excellent, right by the river, so you can take a stroll along the river after breakfast in the morning. It's also very close to all the main attractions on Jonker Street. Highly recommended.

Arrived late at night and wasn't prepared with cash, as the hotel front desk doesn't accept cards for the deposit and tourism tax. I really appreciate that the staff waived the deposit for me; I quickly went to exchange for Malaysian Ringgit the next morning. The hotel offers bike rentals: a single bike is 30 MYR, and a tandem bike is 50 MYR per day. The prices are affordable, but you can only rent them during your stay.

Not too far from Jonker Street, easily walkable. The hygiene was pretty good, and the bedding was comfortable enough. There's a durian shop very close to the hotel, which was really convenient. The downside was that rooms facing the street could hear motorcycles revving at night, which disturbed my sleep.
I like this hotel, so near to Jonker street, good food, history and shopping. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is like a museum, lots of historical items, Melacca history, displays and awesome experience of an peranakan house.
I appreciate there is free parking and most unexpected... there are EV charging points.
We had a wonderful experience, will be coming back again.
Weak Wi-Fi.
The bathtub is old and plastic, while taking shower standing in it feels like it’s gonna break!
Their windows haven’t been replaced in ages, really dirty, and they leak—traffic noise kept me up all night from bedtime till morning.
Hot water, kettle, and AC can’t run at the same time; power tripped three times in one night.
But honestly, the staff are awesome—super quick to help, really friendly, and the front desk is great. Just wish the facilities were actually decent… really hope they fix this stuff soon.
Overall, it’s a decent hotel and offers fair value for what you pay. Cleanliness could be improved, particularly the carpet, which had an unpleasant smell. The room felt a bit worn, and the pillows were limited. The most disappointing experience was a power blackout on our floor a few hours before checkout. I hope this wasn’t a tactic to encourage an earlier departure.
This place probably used to be great, but it's really showing its age and needs some serious maintenance.
**Location:** Very convenient.
**Amenities:** Didn't have time to use them.
**Cleanliness:** Needs improvement.
**Service:** I have to say, the human customer service was excellent. I really appreciate not getting those robotic, AI-like responses where you wait forever for a reply. The deposit was refunded quickly, so the service was good in that regard.

We stayed at The Nines Hotel Melaka as a family and had a very pleasant experience overall.
Everything was correct and met our expectations. The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and nicely organized, which made our stay comfortable.
Some reviews mention that the location is not ideal. It’s true that if you don’t enjoy walking, you may find it a bit inconvenient to rely on Grab each time. However, since it’s only about an 800-meter walk to the main central streets, we found the location perfectly acceptable and manageable.
We didn’t try the breakfast, so we can’t comment on that.
Overall, a solid and reliable choice, especially for families.
Very Good

GGuest UserI tried to reach out the night before check-in regarding the check-in details but received no reply. On the day of check-in, my calls went unanswered. I had to contact Ctrip for help, and it took about half an hour to finally get the check-in instructions.
The living room, bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom were all very clean and modern. However, the bath towels were very old and had an unpleasant odor; as you can see in the picture, the 'white' towels were actually a yellowish-brown.
The location is very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and leisure facilities nearby. Be warned, though: as the apartment is right by a main road, there was a lot of noise from late-night street racers. This is a heads-up for light sleepers.
AAnonymous UserHotel a bit old and rundown, room with dusty smell, toilet with sewage smell and rubbish in toilet bin was not cleaned, we complained to the receptionist and she sends the housekeeper immediately. At the end the receptionist changed room for me as the sewage smell still exists. The elevator have little issues, sometimes the button not responded.
All staffs are friendly and helpful, but the hotel definitely needs some renovations and upgrades.
AAnonymous UserHope u guys can improve dari segi kebersihan sebab lantai tandas dan lantai bilik rasa melekit macam sabun cuci lantai tak bilas habis. As suggestion why not u guys put some basic cuttleries macam mangkuk pinggan sudu garfu ke. Yang lain okay selesa harga pun berpatutan, parking pun senang cuma mahal lah flat rate Rm15. Cuma make sure u guys double check regarding facities ya so that ur customers boleh guna kemudahan hotel and tak kena sound dengan staff hotel lagi. Tq

fulfilled my request to have room on higher floor, good view and away from lift. I got it all.
The room is cozy and comfort, king bed, good water pressure, warm shower & cold aircond.
no carpet on floor which is good ! so no unwanted smell from carpet.
came with tv, 2 toothbrush, toothpaste & shampoo, extra pillow, 2 water bottles, hair dryer, 2 towels & roll tissue.
Private parking with access card provided as well..
under the building / open space.
Worth the price,
located near everything you could ask for
Mamak stall, Zus, KK, family mart, clinic, even Hap Seng & Kedai Emas 😂
can reach many attractive places from here
10 minutes away from Aeon Mall & Melaka Mall.
We stay here together with other 4 families to spend time play in the pool the next morning, after pushbike night race @ aeon.
the pool is nice enough for us & the kids
surrounded with fiddle fig greenery
love it
the kids really had a great time here
cons : the lift was down when we arrived, had to climb up to the highest floor with the luggages. My heart almost burst ..
the lift again was down when we wanted to go back to our room after swimming.
CCSmokWe had such an amazing stay at this villa in Melaka — honestly exceeded all expectations.
The moment we opened the door, it was a wow. All the air-conditioning and lights were already switched on, so stepping into the villa felt instantly welcoming and uplifting. You can really feel how thoughtful the host is.
The kitchen is fully equipped — not just basic tools, but even cooking essentials like oil, sauces, and seasoning are provided. The fridge was stocked with bottled water, and there were plenty of snacks prepared for us as well.
The bathroom is absolutely stunning — beautifully designed and very well maintained. Every corner of the villa, including the greenery, is clearly taken care of with effort and attention. There are even koi fish inside, which adds such a nice, peaceful touch.
What surprised us the most — they even prepared traditional Balinese outfits for guests to change into and take photos. That was such a fun and thoughtful detail!
Honestly, this place is flawless. You can tell a lot of care went into every little detail. Even if this villa were in Bali, it would still stand out as something special.
Highly recommended 💯
AAisy1912The hotel was conveniently located and generally clean. Staff were polite but not very attentive. Room was comfortable but a bit outdated. Wi-Fi was spotty and housekeeping missed our room once. Breakfast was okay but limited in variety. Overall, a decent stay, but there’s room for improvement.
GGuest UserHouse 100% same as picture. Very clean and the mattress very comfortable.. the staff very helpful, when i need iron they immediately response and delivery to unit. feel like a stay at hotel. Would recommend.
AAnonymous UserThey described the room with 30 m² space. With a refrigerator. When we first got our room, it was really small, with no fridge. Then we called the reception, they changed our room to the next door. The new room was spacious. However the fridge is not functioning at all. I think the bathroom could be cleaner, and they could provide extra towel for floor mat. It was more like a homestay rather than hotel. Breakfast was okay, because it was served by AMES hotel. Parking was okay.
