Discovered this spot on a website about hot springs in the state of OR while trying to figure out where to spend NYE by myself as a single woman in need of some R&R. Booked through a third party site to get a tiny discount, but a tad nervous about what it might be like because the pictures didn't quite do it justice. Showed up with low expectations and had my mind blown! Room and bed were ultra comfy! I got a room with a private balcony and personal hot tub on it — so amazing! No chlorine in the personal hot tub and all fresh mineral water. At night, while sitting in one corner of it, I could barely even tell that I got one of the cheaper room options of this kind that faced the parking lot ;) During the day... obviously I could see the dang parking lot, but whatever, next time I'll pay more for a forest facing room. The communal hot springs and mineral pool + sauna & cold plunge were AMAZING. I went after 8pm (adult hours 8-10pm) to avoid children. One couple unfortunately thought it was appropriate to blatantly ignore the huge sign at the door and allow their 8 or 9 year old son into the outdoor hot spring, but I just ignored them because ain't nobody got time to police other people's poor choices on a holiday that I was trying to relax. I had at least 20 mins of the big mineral pool all to myself so I swam & even got the sauna to myself at one point for about 15 mins! Cheeseburger and cocktails at the bar were AMAZING. The bartender was so kind. Burger exceeded my expectations — I'll go back for a proper meal after 5pm next time (I got there too early, starving, so missed fancy dinner). Free bites and a champagne taste in the lounge with live music for the holiday was a TREAT. And especially loved the free sparkling apple juice in my room to ring in the new year solo. Hiked on the property after dinner — GORGEOUS. I'll be back for spa treatments next time too! Booked too last minute and couldn't get a massage in, sadly. Slept like a baby. My only complaint is the room was so bland — no art on the walls! And as mentioned, the photos on the website I booked the room through didn't do it justice either! Additionally, no one answered the phone when I called trying to book, which was frustrating, and they didn't even have a voicemail or anything set up to figure out calling back later. Nonetheless, if y'all need art — I've got a ton to hang & accept commissions! Would 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 to help promote this amazing place & be a bigger part of it in the future!!

Location is convenient for South Tacoma. Public areas and rooms clean. Not that it is a located in commercial urban area with theft, I saw a van window was broke in to and tools were stolen. If you stay anywhere, park away from the fence in well lighted area and do not leave any valuable in your vehicles. ***** and theft are problem all over many states, so must protect yourself.

Great stay overall with clean rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Location was convenient and quiet at night. Check-in was smooth, and amenities were well maintained. Breakfast offered good variety and fresh options. Would definitely return and recommend to others for both business and leisure stays. Service exceeded expectations, making the experience pleasant, relaxing, and truly memorable throughout the visit.

The room is great, and the facilities and hygiene are excellent. The location is superb, right near Amazon headquarters, and within walking distance. It's a quiet and beautiful environment, very comfortable. However, be aware of the deposit issue with the front desk; luckily, Trip.com helped me resolve it.

Can't say that I would stay here again. First, the positives: Great location close to Pike Place and the train to get to Lumen. Front desk staff on arrival and leaving were friendly. Now the negatives: Sent an email a week ahead that never got answered. Ended up calling 2 days before arrival and asked about early check-in. No option for early check-in guarantee but was told ”wouldn't be a problem” to check in 2 hours earlier than the 4:00 standard. Finally got an email at 4:05 that our room was ready. Needless to say, it really messed up our plans. Second, walls are paper thin. Had some influencer type wake us up at 1am recording his vlog or whatever. The one pair of free ear plugs just didnt cut it. Thirdly, I understand it is an old building but the upkeep and maintenance was lacking. Fourth, absolutely no clothes storage at all. Fine for an overnight stay but for multi-night stays, it got tiring living out of the suitcase. Fifth, parking is $45 a night to self-park a block away. And finally, not sure if they are the same owners but the bar/restaurant downstairs for guests had HORRIBLY slow service. Definitely not a perk to staying here. All in all, 2 stars. Won't stay again.

Horrible check in experience; we arrived at 4:00 for check -in, only to discover cars backing-up onto the street. We inched into the lot and finally my spouse hopped out and went into the lobby. There was at least 30 people in line, waiting to check in. It turns out there was a high school program in the area, along with a concert that night; apparently everyone decided to check in at the same time! So, we get to the receptionist and we are told our room isn't ready.....WHAT? We are told she will text us when we could check in. 1 1/2 hours later , no text. We go back to the hotel, the line is gone, and we tell them we've heard nothing but have plans for the evening. This receptionist upgraded our room because of the inconveniences. From then on, no issues; it was a nice, clean, comfortable room.

Hit and miss, for room cleanliness. 3x staying 2nd time was a quick stay and room needed a good cleaning iin common area, bedroom and bathroom were satisfactory. This stay bathroom needed attention with mold along to edge of shower and mold growth on the floor at corners of the tub. All in all good value for price.

There were other cheaper hotels I could have chosen but this one had free breakfast on Christmas morning so that was what got my attention. When I arrived at my room, it was very cold. The fan was set for AC. And on Christmas Eve, we didn't need cold air. This was the first domino that made a series of unfortunate events: I tried to set the fan to heat but it looks like it is set only for AC or fan (blowing cold air). We were just too tired to call the front desk to request a different room. My girlfriend then took a shower with super hot water. She didn't turn on the fan in the bathroom or close the door as she wanted our room to heat up. The vapor got soooooo thick in the room that it set off the fire alarm. I jumped on the bed looking for the reset button but I cut my finger in the process. There was no silence or reset button. I called the office right away when the alarm turned off and explained the situation. I feel sorry for the few guests that stayed that night. The hotel is in excellent condition, one of the best maintained in Yakima. I just wanted to add that we people do goofy things and what we did was goofy. I know we would not have set the alarm off if the air fan could be arranged from AC to hot air given that it is December and we don't need AC in the room, just a thought.

I had great experience to stay at this hotel. Mostly thank Mr Sam the service manager and all the front desk staff. They are so friendly and helpful to help me get to cancel and get refunded from the trip.com app. I been trying to modify my stay before the cancellation day. Even after I arrived to the hotel and asked to modify, the app keep sending me email that the hotel did not answer their email. So I am unable to cancel or change my booking. After talked with the hotel manager (dear Sam) they told me they did not get any email or phone call from the app. Thus, they agreed to let me changed my booking. I was so grateful and finally the app send me letter agreed to refund my money back. I want to say thank you for been helping me and it gives me good images of Seattle. So far, my first time to this city and all the people I met here are friendly. I am so lucky. And about the hotel, it gives me warm and friendly feeling too. Clean environment, soft and comfortable bed, pillows and towels. Inside room has microwaves and refrigerator. Feel safe and happy while stay at the hotel. It also has garage to park. That's another good point too. Once again thank you dear Sam and all staffs , you let me feel I am home with support😊. I will definitely recommend my friends to stay at your hotel!
