The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk from Southern Cross Station and 3 minutes from the day tour meeting point. You can get to the airport directly from Southern Cross Station via SkyBus in half an hour. Major city center attractions are all within reasonable walking distance. There are plenty of dining options nearby, and convenience stores too. I highly recommend the Malaysian restaurant in the first alley on your left when you exit – it might be the best food I've had, super cheap, generous portions, and a wide variety. Trust me, go try it! The shared bathrooms and common areas are clean and well-maintained, with the restrooms being cleaned multiple times daily. Electronic key card access is required for every door, making it very secure. The only suggestions are that the bed sheets are a bit old and pilled, and the metal bunk bed shakes a bit. There was construction nearby at night, but that's not the hotel's fault. Everything else was great, highly recommended!

The front desk staff were very friendly and provided detailed explanations. I loved the app-based room key system. The lobby has lots of power outlets, and the first-floor lounge area is spacious, plus there are independent lounge areas on each floor. The room itself was quite large and had bedside lamps. On the third floor, the men's restroom has two individual shower stalls, and there are more on the second floor. The kitchen has 8 gas burners, which can get quite crowded during meal times. The free breakfast was simple, but they did offer almond milk. On the downside, the bathroom felt a bit humid, there were no privacy curtains on the bed, and there weren't many hooks in the room.

The accommodation is comfortable and spacious. Everyone is friendly, making it a great place to meet people. You can cook your own meals, and free kitchenware is provided for rent. The location is convenient, very close to Flagstaff Station, with direct access to the city loop.

After reading the reviews I was pleasantly surprised by this hostel! It was a quaint little place, with a homely feel. The location was great, only a 12 minute drive from Apollo Bay, with a waterfall around the corner and an empty beach a 5 minute walk away! There’s farm animals around to look at, the place was clean and tidy, with a decent kitchen and communal areas. It is completely self-checkin and we saw no staff while there so be prepared for that! Overall, for the price, I would definitely be rebooking a stay here.

It doesn't look much from the highway, and it's a distance out of town, but don't let it stop you. I stayed in a ”newer” cabin and it was clean and neat, fully stocked, and comfortable. It was quiet despite the highway. Checking in was easy, and friendly. No internet was a let-down, and the Tesltra signal was poor in Colac town as well as at the park.

We stayed at NRMA Phillip Island Beachfront Holiday Park during our trip to Phillip Island and really enjoyed it. The beachfront location was excellent, peaceful, and family-friendly. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and equipped with a small kitchenette, which was very convenient for preparing simple meals for our kids. The park facilities were well maintained, and it was only a short drive to Penguin Parade and other attractions. Overall, it was a relaxing and convenient place for a family stay

The guy at the front desk is very good, my English is not good, he very enthusiastically recommended the surrounding food, drink and fun, and also helped me buy a fishing permit to catch crabs, and stay here next time.

The single room shared bathroom, I did not expect to have no air conditioning, 38 degrees high temperature can not sleep before midnight.

The manager was very nice, the hotel rooms are located at 2/F but he is willing to help with the luggage carry even without request. The hotel location is fantastic, only 20-30 mins to Melbourne central (one tram only after you get the skybus from airport as well). supermarket, restaurant, cafe, gelato shop around as well. Clean, big room, nice toilet&restroom, nice kitchen, nice laundry. Highly recommend that hotel, definitely my priority choice if I come to Melbourne again. The only bad side is the room at 2/F that you have to carry your stuff up and down if you buy lots of things. And watch out especially in rainy day as it’s a metal stair.
