2-Star Hotels in Ontario, Canada

This is a cheap and cheerful hotel in the heart of downtown Ottawa. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful, willing to bend over backwards to make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms are surprisingly large, and even though they are oddly laid out (this must have been an apartment building at some time in its past) and the style is not at all modern, they are clean and have virtually everything you could possibly need, with extensive balconies showcasing some of the best of the city. The continental breakfast offerings are some of the best I've ever had; fresh. plentiful, varied, tasty, and available for a reasonable duration of time every morning. There is even parking onsite; the only drawback is that it's paid parking, and not cheap at that, but considering its location it's some of the best prices in the city. I have been twice now and I will come back as often as I can!

The hotel is in a good location, and Costco is just a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast is served from 6am to 10am. It's fairly basic but good enough. This hotel is comparable to UK Ibis, Premier Inn, and Travelodge. The hotel has recently been refurbished, so everything is top-notch and clean. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, the hotel takes a holding deposit of CAD 150, which is refunded at checkout; however, there is no mention of that on the Trip. The toiletries are provided by the hotel, so there's no need to bring shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Spark.

The service is very good, and the sanitary conditions are also OK. The environment is comfortable and you can see the Detroit River.

The room was nice and clean with large TV microwave fridge and coffee maker. The staff were also friendly and helpful with a complementarity breakfast. Very nice.

Don't be busy without taking photos, it's not that there are too few parking spaces in the hotel on weekends. The front desk gave me an address to go to other parking. I parked the car and walked back for more than five minutes, and the charge was charged. Super inconvenient, others are okay

Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable beds and up.to date rooms. Breakfast is very good with a great selection of food and the coffee is good. They are pet friendly but do charge 20.00 per night for a fur family member which I do dislike since my pet is quieter then most kids that I've seen there.

The location is good and there are minimum facilities, so I think it's enough for a solo traveler. It was nice to be able to get bread and coffee for free at the bar on the first floor in the morning.

Good location, surrounded by supermarkets and big shopping malls, the front desk is very nice. The room was clean and tidy. The buffet is also more conscience. The facilities are a bit old, especially the air conditioning sound is relatively loud.
