Location-wise, the hotel has it all since it’s very close and walkable from Copenhagen Central Train Station. It’s also nearby the Fisketorvet Copenhagen Mall and other shops and stops and spots such as the Tivoli Gardens. The hotel itself looks structurally elegant from the outside and inside. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Their rooms I think have minimalist concept wherein they have tried to squeezed the space although it wasn’t a concern for a solo traveler like myself. The interior design not just the room but the other areas such as the lobby and dining area were refreshing, smart, and relaxing. I just wished they could have added more or other options into their breakfast such as hot soup or hot noodle soup or anything like that. And also, you need to pay if you want hot water when water should be an accessible and free commodity for guests who already availed their service and booked a room. Moreover, I think their laundry offer was a bit expensive as it was per unit per different types of clothings. Maybe per kilo of collective clothing for laundry would be a friendlier option for guests and tourists so everybody happy. 😁😇 Overall WakeUp Copenhagen Hotel is still a must-booked hotel amongst your options if you happen to go to Copenhagen. Cheers!

I really enjoyed staying at the city hub in Copenhagen. It’s absolutely perfect for solo travelling, there’s a metro station that’s 7 minute walk and a bus right outside that takes you into the city centre in like 10 minutes. Amenities were great and actually super clean. I did find hair in my bed and a stain and when I went to complain at the reception they were pretty quick to move me into another hub. Apart from that everything was very smooth and decent for a solo travel or if you went with another person. Will definitely return to the city hub.

It is within walking distance from Copenhagen Central Station, although it will take 20-30 minutes. However, the hotel is near to the metro station. There are not so many restaurants and supermarkets near the hotel. The room is clean but tiny, but it is OK considering the price.

Objectively speaking, for this price point, the hotel's overall condition is quite good. While the buffet wasn't my favorite, I couldn't find anything better in the area. As for roommates, that's purely down to personal luck and other factors and shouldn't be used as a basis for evaluation.

The hotel is in a great location, and is very close to many shops and restaurants. Waterfront is just 15 minute walk. My main issue is just how small the bed is in the standard room - they don't have twin room options so sharing with my mother I found the bed to very small. The room wasn't cleaned at any point during the stay. The breakfast was expensive in my opinion, better to go round the corner and go to one of the many coffee shops or cafes. In a city which is so expensive to book a hotel room I guess it sells itself as a budget friendly option, but I wasn't overly impressed.

Being with two in the room, there isn’t much privacy you get for the bathroom. It is surrounded by milk glass and a sliding door which can’t be locked.

This price is very suitable in Copenhagen. It is only 3 or 4 stops away from the airport, and it takes about 7 minutes to get there from the subway station.

The location is excellent, very close to the Central Station and just a 3-minute walk from the subway entrance. You'll find Chinese (Hunan) restaurants and a 7-Eleven nearby, making it incredibly convenient. I had a fantastic experience overall. The 24-hour front desk service was also exceptional. Highly recommend!

I slept in women tent. The staff is super nice. And super useful guide to explore Copenhagen if you join the WhatsApp group. There’s port on bed for charging. A locker for you to put stuff. And the location is fantastic. Easy to get around the city by transportation nearby. They don’t have a kitchen but you can buy food to eat in the bar and there are many cafes, McDonald’s, street food and bar nearby. They have big washroom and seperate toilet and washroom that you dun have to worry about peeing yourself. And they have a bar. The room space is not big. And there’s many dust under the charging port on bed. But overall I think it’s fine.

GGuest UserCabinn Copenhagen is very well located, near Copenhagen Bus terminal, and IKEA Mall, and near Tivoli Amusement Park, Tivoli Food Hall, and Central Train Station. Very well connected to City Centre. Cabinn Copenhagen is the great choice to stay, staff are very friendly and helpful, and the accomodation has 2 Tower Blocks. A great choice for our 3 day Stay in Copenhagen.

GGuest UserThe location is not far from the Town Hall. It consists of two sections (different entrances) - a bar (the reception is also there), the next door leads to the hostel rooms, which occupy six floors. The elevator (of an old design) goes only to the fifth - so those who got a room on the sixth will have to walk one more floor up.The rooms are quite cramped, the top bed is suspended on pipes, which can give the impression that you are in a basement. On the entire floor - only two toilets, two sinks and three showers. The kitchen as such is not available to guests - there is a small dark room on the ground floor under the bar - which contains two small refrigerators, a microwave, a kettle. There is not even a sink with running water - this can be difficult if you need to wash your own dishes, fruits/vegetables, etc.

FFarah PI arrived in the evening and the reception welcomed me warmly. I asked for some ice cubes and they kindly gave them for free. My room was on the 12th floor, but the lift was frustratingly(super) slow, definitely troublesome if you’re in a rush. I stayed for 6 days, and housekeeping only came once, on the 4th day. However, they did mention that extra amenities could be requested at reception. A note for warmer days: opening the window doesn’t make the room feel any breezier, so it can be uncomfortable. Luckily, the mornings and nights were chilly, so I managed to sleep well. Location-wise, it’s about an 8-minute walk to Ørestad metro and train station. From there, you can take the metro straight into the city centre, catch a train directly to the airport, or even cross the Øresund Bridge to Malmö and Lund. For those seeking halal food, there's Royal Syawarma near Field's mall.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent. One block from Tivoli Gardens and the train station and across the road from the bus stop to the airport. Its a budget hotel, and as the name suggests, the rooms are like cabins on a ship, they're small. We took a bunk room which meant we had more floor space than a regular twin room. The shower room is also compact, it's a wet room with a curtain inside, much like a ships cabin or a motor home. There was a squeegee provided for wiping the floor after a shower to reduce the risk of slipping. Towels are provided in the room and if you want them replaced, just pick up new ones at the reception desk. Same goes for coffee, tea, sugar, creamer sachets, and cups. These are provided in the room as is a kettle, but you'll need to replenish if you're there more than one night. The Downside was that there was no air-conditioning. It was warm when we stayed in July so we slept with the window wide open. We didn't notice insects and the noise from Tivoli and the church bells stops at 11pm so it wasn't especially noisy through the night. If you were travelling with younger children and preferred not to have the windows open wide, I think you could ask reception for a fan. We borrowed a hairdryer from reception for the duration of our stay. There was no extra charge for this. Reception also sold hot and cold drinks and sandwiches. The staff were very helpful. There was an outside seating area but it was very basic and mostly used by smokers. The lounge was a good size with both tables & chairs and sofas & coffee tables. It was a very short walk to the waterside area or the beautiful Glyptotek Gardens if you were looking for an outside seat and some peace. We didn't take breakfast but you don't need to book before you stay. Just let reception know by 10pm the day before and you can have breakfast the following morning. Room cleaning is not provided as standard but again, just arrange it with reception before 10pm the night before. In summary, it's basic and it's small, a bit more like a hostel than a hotel. However, for the location, it's very competitively priced and I'd stay again.

SSolo_LadyI love the hostel vibes. many activities to do here. the dome has its own bathroom, but i had to stay with 3 unknow males. so i wasn't feel comfortable to use bathroom in the room. I always used shared bathroom. Hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work. The bed doesn't have the curtain. So I feel less private. When the room light was turn off, i turn on the light in my own bed. But my light disturb a guy on next bed then he told me to turn off 🥹.

OORexplorerSteel House Hostel was great for my 4 day stay in Copenhagen. I stayed in a 6-person women's room, and got assigned an upper bunk. The room was quite nice (a bit cramped but nothing out of the ordinary), and I liked how high the bunk was- above head height when people were standing, so it didn't feel like others were in my space, and there was plenty of space to sit fully up in the bunk. Bed and pillow was comfy. Lockers were a good size (fit my carry on suitcase plus a backpack; others had bigger suitcases that didn't fit), but the locking mechanism was a bit challenging- basic idea but seemed to be mechanical issues). There was a thermostat that could be set as low as 17C (~63F), which was the setting in my room, but this didn't work well- it was definitely in the low 70s (F) in the room and felt quite warm for sleeping. The fans in the bathroom and shower (separate, which was good for a shared room) didn't seem to work (no knob apparent for the shower; there was a knob in the bathroom but it didn't do anything), so the room got humid after one or two people showered. The hostel is huge, and almost more like a hotel. WiFi was spotty or absent in the room, but plenty of common areas to sit or work downstairs. Kitchen was frequently used, and I took advantage of the kitchen fridge for having skyr and fruit for breakfasts (costs 25DKK for your whole stay). I also rented a bike for a couple days. It seemed overpriced (~135 DKK for 24hr) but can't beat the convenience, and the bike (standard city cruiser) worked just fine.

RRahulSinghI stayed at Annex Copenhagen Hostel recently and overall had a decent experience. The location is one of its strong points—very close to the central station, which made getting around the city quite convenient. The cleanliness was satisfactory. The toilets were kept clean, and my room was cleaned once during my stay, which was fine for a short trip. A fan was provided in the room, which was useful for ventilation and comfort. They also offer a cycle rental service at 150 DKK per day, which is a great way to explore Copenhagen like a local. While it's not a luxury stay, the basics were well-covered, and it's a good option for travellers looking for a budget-friendly place in a central location.
