A truly wonderful experience. The hotel is in a prime location, within walking distance of Don Quixote and across from a seaside park, making it convenient for hot springs. The shared kitchen allows you to buy groceries and cook your own meals, including beef. The family room was very comfortable and spacious, with a small living room. Clean and tidy, highly recommended.

Book a triple room and upgrade to an 8-bed room for free. Awesome. The roof of the building is being repaired. The big pool on the second floor is also wrong. There is also a sauna. There is free coffee in the lobby before 7pm.

Although small, the location is good. Although old, everything is perfect. Especially the free use of the hot spring bath in another sister hotel is a plus 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.

A Showa-style hotel with a very good experience from the entrance to the end Recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Features: 1. There are several exhibition rooms in the hotel: reading room/ancient tea set room/vintage clothing room, which is very interesting 2. There is a private bath (each person can make an appointment for 55 minutes at night, and reserve 5 minutes for the next guest), which also gives people a quiet place 3. The breakfast is Japanese breakfast, which I think tastes good and has a lot of details. At the end, there is a cup of drip coffee 4. The hotel has a luggage delivery service, and the luggage can be sent to the passenger service area of Yufu Station (600~800yen per piece of luggage). The check-out of hotels in Yufuin is generally very early (10 or 1030), which is very suitable for friends who don’t want to drag luggage and want to hang out 5. The service of the clerk is very meticulous. The luggage will be cleaned when it comes to the door. Although there is no elevator, it is carried by the clerk.

It was really really good.. I was worried because there weren't many reviews, but it was so much better than I imagined, and if I ever get another chance to go to Yufuin, I'd go to Tamayura again! This isn't an ad^^. The kaiseki had such a mediocre rating, but it wasn't anything to worry about. I was so full and the food was so good that I couldn't even eat the sushi I bought at the mart properly. Breakfast was also really delicious. In particular, all the fish dishes were delicious! The facilities were also really good. There were some reviews saying it was cold, but the room was warm when the heater was turned on! However, since the shower area isn't indoors, it might be cold if you go in the winter. However, it's the best in this weather. Basic amenities are provided, and there are yukatas! And the best thing is that the owner and staff are so pretty and kind! They even used a translator to communicate with us and treated us so well, I felt good the whole time I was there ㅎㅎ It's been a few days since I came back, so I'm just writing a review now I hope the owner's wife and daughter read this review and remember us ㅎㅎ It was really the best! I highly recommend Tamayura! The best!!!!

There is a wonderful hot spring bath that flows directly from the source. I felt that the topaz-colored hot water had the effect of regulating the autonomous nerves and relaxing the stiffness. The single room is clean and new and close to JR Ozai station, so it may be perfect for a solo trip for hot spring purposes. However, the problem is staff and management. Even if I tried to enter the large communal bath after check-in, it was crowded with day trip bathers and washed potatoes. I took a bath the next morning because I had a plan. Check the front desk multiple times that you can take a bath the next morning. But the next morning, the public bath was closed with a close display. There were other angry guests, and eventually everyone took a bath. I was impressed by the wonderful quality of the spring. Another thing is that you have to fill in all your address and phone numbers at check-in. When booking through online companies such as Trip.com, the hotel side has all the information, and originally it is only a signature. Or rather, it is almost the case now. I had a minor finger disability and had a help mark. I was in pain because my hands were not good at shaking. I managed to finish writing, but I had further mental pain. The staff spoke out and corrected it while saying, ”Is this 7? 3?” I cried in tears of sadness that I was embarrassed. I wonder if I can't see the help mark. All of these seemed to be caused by the staff, and I felt that there was a problem with the management's lion ruler operation. Vijiho, which has a wonderful large communal bath that flows directly from the source, is actually quite rare. To the manager. Please acquire a customer's perspective as much as possible.

The next day, the family bath that can be used as a coin is really awesome.. You can also use an open-air hot spring, but after staying, you can even have a private hot spring! The hot spring was hot, so even if I sat a little, I sweated and it was cold because it rained, but after taking the hot spring, I felt warm enough to feel the cold. It's a superb view and the price is very good. If you visit Hita again, you'll want to visit again!

GGuest UserThe staff members were all very friendly and welcoming. The hotel overall was very cozy, particularly the onsens. Although all the four onsens were opened for all guests at the hotel, you can use one of them as long as you want because guests are instructed to hang a sign on the onsen to show that it is currently occupied. This is a great way for the guests to enjoy privacy to themselves, although it is opened publicly. Dinner and breakfast was included in the package so we did not have to worry about finding nearby restaurants. The food was delicious here! Would definitely recommend if you enjoy traditional Japanese meals to get the full experience. We had a private barbecue for dinner, and it was truly immaculate! However, there was smoke all over the hotel lobby coming from the barbecue so it would have been better if they kept the windows opened. It was also indoors so it was slightly overwhelming with all the smoke everywhere in the restaurant. But everything else was on point and breakfast was particularly delicious.

Oonlywinxit's a small homey inn, amazing for cat lovers. you get to spend 1h in a room full of super friendly cats. their homemade breakfast and dinner is delicious and very filling - you even get to eat next to another room of cats! the only downside is the location, which is 1 short train station (comes every 40mins) away from beppu station. it's a bit in the residential area, and the walk from higashibeppu station can get a bit quiet and dark, but overall still a great place to stay!

FFredAbsolutely understated hotel style onsen resort with fully renovated facilities, decently sized rooms, clean onsen springs and most important of all, nice and sociable hotel staff with pleasant smiles. Bath tub with gorgeous mountain view will surely give you an unforgettable memory and the balcony with greenery mountain will give the tranquility and beauty of nature. Buffet style breakfast and dinner served with ample choices of delicious and quality foods. The ice cream is a must try! Last but not least, the relaxation room is full of fun for you to regain balance of body and mind after the taste of different onsen. A walk to the nearby riverside is a good day time activity! We will come again.

MMils CandyskinsThe staff are friendly and helpful. I was allowed to leave my luggage upon check out and still explore Beppu. The team even assisted me with taking my luggage to the front door. Rooms are clean and equipped with a hairdryer, kettle and fridge. There is a microwave near reception and there is laundry and dryer however you need to pay. Please note, there is no lift, only stairs to the reception from the main road however the staff helped me carry my bag. Location is a few minutes walk to Beppu station and buses therefor easy to get around. Thank you for a pleasant stay! I will stay again when I return to Beppu!

GGuest UserStaying in a traditional Japanese house and ryokan. Kaiseki food I liked everything. The facilities were connected to the main building (2nd floor) and the new building 1st floor A small open-air bath (2~3 people) 1 male and 1 female/Indoor bath is in operation, but I didn't use the indoor bath so I don't know, and the open-air bath was very small, but there was no lack of things to enjoy the open-air bath, and I stayed on the 2nd floor of the main building, and the stairs were steep, so it was not inconvenient except for moving a large suitcase. There were 2 small hell hot spring tourist attractions within 10~10 minutes' walk, so I was able to tour them (I had to go up a little hill). There were 2 free foot baths right around the accommodation and very cheap paid foot baths. I visited the accommodation using a rental car. Parking was available, and there was a bus terminal 5 minutes away, so I could go without a rental car or a pick-up service. Kaiseki cuisine was very attentive, with raw fish, sushi, steamed food, small soup, and dessert. Breakfast was also very clean and delicious. Since the food was served in the room, I was able to eat individually, which was convenient. However, since it was an old house, there were traces of time here and there, and water flowed on the toilet floor, but it was not a problem to use. It was a little more simple and not fancy than the Yufuin area, but it was enough to enjoy a Japanese-style accommodation at a good price.

LLi-ChenThe tatami room was clean and spacious. Walls are a bit thin. I could actually hear sound from next door or people walking around the hallway. The futon mattress was quite thin and the pillow too hard for me. Also, I found that the filters of humidifier were so dirty that I washed them myself. Toilets are shared by all guests but only one is for female (two for male). When I brushed my teeth and washed my face, I had to let the water run for a long time before hot water came out. ¥150 of hot spring tax was collected upon check-in, of which I was not informed in advance.

GGuest UserHere is a pick-up service if you contact the hotel After the bus tour, I got off near Kinlin Lake. It was a 40 minute walk, so I wanted to go on a flat ground, but it was a car without a walking road. I experienced hell ... After arriving at the dormitory, I met the boss, and he was a grandfather with a year old. I opened the Japanese language app first and explained it. It's different from other hotels If you want to go to a nearby meal or a mart, you can ask the boss for a pick-up service, take you to the mart and wait until you see the market. In the morning, Yufuin Express Guitar was 9 o'clock, so I asked for breakfast and took me at the time I wanted. The hostel was spacious enough to stay for more than 2 people. And the long-awaited private hot spring. Very very satisfied! I enjoyed it twice once after arriving, once before drinking in the evening. If I had time in the morning, I would have had breakfast. I said hello to the boss and said he would come back to rest next time if I came to Yufuin ^^ Yufuin is recommended here if you want to fully heal in the hostel as much as you come to relax with hot springs or if you have a lot of body in the last schedule!

LLeiqinA pretty good hostel, where you can meet friends from all over the world. The room is large, with a separate bathroom and dry and wet separation. The public area on the first floor is also large. The kitchen is fully equipped. It is a ten-minute walk from Beppu and a five-minute walk from a large supermarket. The supermarket closes at seven in the evening. After dinner, take a walk along the beach.

GGuest UserI had a great stay. The owners are super lovely and will go out of their way to help you. I highly recommend the breakfast and dinners, they were great for big days of hiking and convenient as there aren't too many food options up in the mountains. The train carriages have a large sleeping area and a connected large room to store your things or just to hang out. Yes the pillows are like a bag of rice but it's part of the experience! Great place to stay and great value.
