Great location. The rooms are like cottages made of cardboards (you can hear people walking from theother rooms), no air conditioner (in summer you have to sleep with your windows open), no minibar. The key cards don't work. As much as it’s priced okay but the service is not worth the price.
Good location for those travelling. Just need to be aware of rude staff members, some just enter your room without knocking on the door and even enter later on while being downstairs in the lobby. That has been confirmed.
Fantastic service from start to finish, easy to check in and out. The location is a little further out of town but easy enough to use public transport. Room is small but to be expected for the price, would have loved a mirror in the bedroom to be able to do my hair and make up. If you’re looking for a budget friendly stay and don’t mind a bit of travel into town this is a great spot.

Second time staying, love the location, they allowed me to leave my luggage and the windows opened. The room isn’t massive, but had everything you need except a fridge but vending machines in the hallway. Love this place.
Great location! The metro station, supermarket, and restaurants are all within walking distance. There’s also a direct bus from the airport to the hotel.
Everything was great, i will come back next time, there was free drink when i checked in and checked out and a cute little gift, the place was very clean and the location was convenient to get around.
This is a lovely, clean hotel with a beautiful view. The environment is peaceful, quiet, and clean.
The housekeeper/cleaner I met was nice, when I requested for adapter, she went out of her way to get one for me.
My only disappointment was when I realized I had left some clothing behind. I called the next day, but unfortunately, the staff informed me they couldn’t locate it. It’s a shame because I’m certain I left it in the room, and it seems someone may have taken it.
Aside from this incident, my stay was enjoyable.
The room was small but cozy, perfect for a few nights. The location was fantastic, with bike rentals and a park nearby. The bed and pillows were very comfortable; we slept like babies. We loved everything.
If you are looking for a very easy access bar and good time then this place can be great for you. As for the night it is a bit loud due to there being a bar below with activities. The beds/room were everything you would expect from a hostel, the experience will vary depending on the guests there with you.

GGuest UserLocation: it's a great location because it's only a less than 10 minute walk from the Amsterdam Central station. It's so convenient. But the hostel entrance/reception is located inside a pub/restaurant. Personally I have no problem with this. I just find this interesting. There was also a security-looking guy standing at the entrance at night every day too, so it was pretty safe.
Cleanliness: it was very clean. Every day someone took out the trash and cleaned the bathroom for us, which I didn't expect. They gave us a new, clean towel every day too. I really like these things about the hostel.
Service: It depends on who you meet. The ladies that I talked to were all friendly and helpful. But there was a guy that was rather unhelpful and rude. I asked, ”Do you have data sim cards?” He said, ”No, we don't provide for that.” (Of course I knew the hostel didn't provide sim cards for free; I was asking if the hostel *sells* sim cards.) I asked, ”Do you know where I can get one? I can't get on the internet with the hostel wifi.” He said, ”There's no problem with the hostel wifi, otherwise a lot of people would be complaining about it.” (I wasn't complaining about the hostel wifi wasn't working; I was asking if he knew where I could get a sim card since I couldn't get on the internet to look for them.)
Facilities: I like that there was a curtain on each bed. The bed and the room were also spacious enough. The windows were almost soundproof, isolating all the noises from the people drinking downstairs. The bathroom was also very clean. The only thing I didn't like was that there were brown stains on the blanket, which looked disgusting. There was also space for luggages (it's on the 2nd floor) if you don't want to store them in your room. There was, however, no kitchen or common areas. But the room was big enough and had a table. It was ok for me.
One thing I really didn't like were the people who stayed in my room. All of them were obnoxious: wouldn't clean up after using the bathroom (hair everywhere), leaving their stuff in the bathroom/on the table so others couldn't use the space/table, kept coughing all night (meaning they were sick) and wouldn't open the windows for ventilation. I hardly had a good night's sleep because they kept coughing at night. But this wasn't the hostel's fault. It's those people's problems.
All in all, I recommend staying at this hotel.
SSuiyongThe hostel is not far from Amsterdam Centraal station when you arrive at central station follow to sigh ferry and take ferry at for free 24hrs operate pier name ‘buiksloterweg’ then across the river the arrive nord Amsterdam walk about 300 meters to the hostel. The hostel no kitchen only hot water ,spoons and bowls.I took 6 people mix dorm including bathroom.no hair dyer no towel has to rent 6Euro.
Overall is good I stayed for 3nights
MMedPajGood location, close to rijksmuseum et al. Boat tour right outside. Friendly and helpful staff. But extremely limited facilities, but for the centre of Amsterdam a very good price. Some rooms better than others
GGuest UserExcellent location, close to Central Station, many shops and restaurants around the hotel. Steep stairs but manageable, recommended for light travellers. We booked the New renovated room, nice design and spacious for two people. Nice staffs, but need to leave the room key every time when you leave the hotel…but the room cleaning need to be improved…found that stains/dirts are on the toilet seat/ dusts on the bedding/ no refilling of the tea bags…overall it is a nice stay in Amsterdam

HHordzy101Me and my friend stayed in this hotel for 6 nights primarily due to because we were attending a Dnb Allstars event in Zaandam at Hemkade 48
Fantastic Location, 2 min walk to the Zaandam Train Station and around a 15 min train to Amsterdam Centraal there’s plenty of shops around the area to do some Local Shopping (Primark, CeX, Albert Heijn) etc
Was a great hotel, just extremely frustrating that no windows could be opened so the room was very very hot, while also no air circulation whatsoever at all was in the room the heating wasn’t very controllable was just always turned off! Would be 10/10 if it had air conditioning and possibly a window that could open!
We did try and ask if anything was doable but we just got told to turn off the heating to which we did but no improvement unfortunately!
And also one more thing to add to our discomfort was that the tap water from the bathroom sink was not cold whatsoever it just tasted like it had been stored in a bottle that had been sat in the sun for hours however luckily there was a water fountain down in the reception which I used to refill my water bottles but still would’ve much preferred to have been to have access to nice cold water from the room!
Beds were good enough I suppose without being too generous writing this review but my back does hurt and ache from sometimes being uncomfortable
With all that being said as an overall it wasn’t awful but some things did unfortunately ruin our experience and comfort!

GGuest UserThe location is great, right in downtown and very convenient walking around in the center of Amsterdam. Room was especially small, not a big hotel, think they gave me their smallest room with a view of the internal air-well in the basement. The room was not even big enough to open up my luggage completely so I had to unpack out a few clothing as I was staying there for a few nights and luckily able to store my closed luggage beneath the bed. Toilet was small but looked as if it was recently upgraded in the last few years, it looked fairly new although there were some drain flies flying around in the toilet and could have been cleaned or exterminated better. Bed was surprisingly a double for such a small room and was comfortable enough. I had an issue with the receptionist opening my room door without knocking at all while I was stark naked and about to head into the toilet for a shower. Did not think that it was professional no matter the reason for doing so - apparently she was confused and open up the wrong door. Knocking on door and waiting for an answer should be a universal practice by all hospitality staff across any hospitality properties. Room was expensive for the size but it was centrally located and comfortable enough.
GGuest UserSingle travelling female just needing a quick 8 hour layover..hotel felt safe and staff was nice. I had my dog with me who was welcomed. I think I paid 10 euros for him.
Got on shuttle outside Schipole Airport (10pm) where all the hotel shuttles leave (A9)...shuttle was packed. Keep an eye out for hotel logo so you get on right bus.
Ibris has 2 hotels they drop off at,.. the budget is the 2nd stop.( fortunately a fellow traveller told me that)..
The room was very small and modern..clean ..no extravagant free toiletries just a hair; body wash that remained at hotel..Towels could have been a bit better quality they seemed thin and old. Room was perfect for a quick shower and nap.
I got the early morning free shuttle back to the airport next morning it was on time and fortunately not as packed.
They did offer a breakfast you could have prepaid for that did look good but I didn't have.
