Booked Malibest Resort for my missus, sister-in-law, and our two little ones for a 3-night break. They paid RM100 deposit for two rooms. They asked for connecting rooms, but due to peak season, the hotel could only offer nearby rooms on the same floor with another guest in between. Staff said we could swap if the middle room became free, but the guest stayed longer, so no luck—but it was fine.
The hotel’s right in the heart of Cenang, and with peak season in full swing, it was packed. They hired a car to explore Langkawi, but parking was tricky—no private lot, so had to leave the car on the far side street or at the nearby mall (RM20 overnight). A few times they used Grab instead, which made the car rental feel a bit wasted.
Location-wise, it’s spot-on. Loads of duty-free shops, food places, and just steps from the beach. They walked to Underwater World too. The area’s buzzing with tourists, both local and international.
Rooms were clean and quiet. The pool was sandy at the bottom—likely from beachgoers jumping in without rinsing. Inside the room, all the basics were covered: towels, shampoo, body wash, a fridge for takeaway, water boiler for coffee, and a telly with YouTube (which the kids loved).
Also, it’s close to the airport—so no stress about getting there on time.
Overall, a solid stay with great location and helpful staff. A few hiccups, but the family had a lovely time.

Pretty average. Rooms gets flooded after heavy rain and you get towels to sort it out. Bath tub could use replacing too - a bit rusty. There was a fair amount of rubbish underneath the bed. I would recommend looking for something else guys.

We were two couples with a 2 year old staying for 2 nights. The whole experience was lovely from beginning to end. The rooms were immaculate - the bed was very big and comfortable, the temperature was perfect and the little touches and decor made it extra special. We used the pool and it was great for both adults and children. The whole atmosphere was relaxing and quiet and I recommend this for any chill getaway ❤️

This is one of the most happy & highly satisfying stay for boutiques hotel I ever experienced. The staffs are very friendly and attentive. Specially thanks to both owners “Mr Harry & Ms Mikki”, many thanks to prepare the scrumptious breakfast each morning and it is really heart warming! Kudos to the owner and staffs from Baba Boutique House for all the effort. This is highly recommended hotel as the place is centric and many restaurant besides the area. The rooms is extremely huge, beautiful and superb with big bathroom. Everything are just so perfect to make my vacation in Langkawi so memorable and meaningful.

We loved the place. It's nothing fancy but served the purpose of quick access to the beach, food and shopping. It has no dedicated parking but arrangement with the Chenanag Mall parking located just opposite. We took street view rooms, felt quiet overall. The breakfast was also arranged through White Hall Restaurant in Chenanag Mall. Basic option like kaya toast, egg toast, Nasi Lamek was provided as Break Fast. I would recommend the hotel.
From Langkawi Airport, it takes about 30 minutes by taxi to reach the accommodation, and the location of the apartment is easy to find. After moving in, I found that the internal conditions were pretty good. There is a separate bathroom for use, and a complete range of toiletries are provided, making it easy to wash. The sanitation of the bathroom is also very clean, it is worth staying!
The staff are very polite, friendly and very helpful.
Even I have forgotten my belongings they check room very quickly and gave back to me very fast.
I love king deluxe room and wish to come back again.
Thank you very much.

smooth check-in. good assistance from the receptionist. Please do standby deposit Rm100 and charges fee by hotel Rm6 (cash) upon check-in. Deposit is refundable once check-out which is before 12pm. room just 10-15meter from the reception. 600meter walking to beach behind of the resort. The room was great for 2star rate. Got mini fridge, basic amenities, clean linen and towel and aircond function well. Daily room cleaning if stay more than 1 night. Rm300 for 3d 2n is affordable. The socket plug is limited, maybe can consider to add socket plug beside of the bed for more easier. But Overall was great👍

NNoraLolaNice stay in Langkawi though its raining throughout the whole period of my stay. Comfortable bed & pillows. And nice pool too. Accommodating crews on board makes it a good stay. The room we took is with simple breakfast ala carte menu. Can be top up with a certain amount if needed to upgrade the meal. For cat lovers, there are two friendly cat around the hotel too so it's a plus point 😻

FFyzahashimI had a pleasant stay at AST Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with no unpleasant smell. The bathroom was also very clean and well-maintained. Overall, a simple but comfortable stay and I’m satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort provided.

Llen***s7Location not bad, being at the quieter end yet still within walking distance to the F&B and shops. Beam scooters avaliable in about 2 minites walking. Free parking space available but they might need to repaint the lines. No visible security measures and no gate at the entrance/exit. Haven't seen any security guard around and the guard house been empty whenever I passed by. The whole premise is open to access even at the back. The room door only has a door knob lock (latch), a safety concern since anyone could break in easily or duplicate the key. No lift, by the way, for people with heavy or bulky luggage. Room has a lot of space for luggage and circulation. Table and wardrobe are big enough for use. Small TV screen with limited channels. Has both ceiling fan and wall-mount air-con but the air-con takes very long to cool the room. For light-sleepers, the air-con, mini fridge and ceiling fan can be noisy for you but was ok for me. Bathroom sapce is decent. No shelf for toiletries at the shower area though. Biggest problem for me would be the water pressure too small for showering. Spent more than double the usual time showering because of very little water from the showerhead. Good that the ventilation window has mosquito net. There are 2 power points in the bathroom for use. Room cleaning everyday around noon, but you have to be in to reject it if you don't wish them to enter as there is no Do Not Disturb signage. So far all staff I encountered were very friendly and easy to communicate. Overall fine. Hope to see more improvement.
WwAco-jEsusOf course, you get what you pay for. And Paretto is a perfect example of righteousness of this proverb. Yes, hotel is really cheap, but offers decent family rooms with two comfortable beds and a great location in Cenang. But these two are actually only positives of Paretto. Also good were both aircons except one day when one wasnt working.
The hotel and everything in the hotel is old and outdated. The locks on the doors in the room are almost all broken, the shower room isn't kept clean, mould is all over the walls. Our balcony faced inner corridor of the hotel thus it was always extremely hot at the balcony. Overall all furniture and bed sheets are quite old and looked tired.
If you are budget traveller - Paretto is ok for maximum 3-4 nights, but if you need more comfort and modern hotel - try to avoid.
GGuest UserThe room was quite spacious, comfortable, and felt new and well-maintained. However, the air conditioning in my room was weak, making the room uncomfortably warm. The floor also felt a bit gritty.
GGuest UserVery near Chenang beach. Parking spaces available. Front desk’s girl is nice. Eateries nearby. Very convenient. First night, there’s mosquito bcos of toilet’s window. Got chairs and coffee table by the window. Great.
Ssuesha anieStayed 3 days and 2 nights at Hotel T+ Premium.
1. The hotel was clean and tidy.
2. The staff were very friendly.
3. It's conveniently located close to town.
4. Just outside the hotel, there's a 'family corner' where you can buy chocolate cake.
5. It was great to have a lift, so no need to tire yourself out climbing stairs!
6. They provided two pillows and a really plush mattress, making for a super comfortable sleep! 🤣
7. Car parking is also available.
***My only minor suggestion is regarding the trash cans. Only one is provided, so if you move it to the bathroom, you have to bring it back to the main room. It would be much better to provide two – one for the bathroom and one for the sleeping area.
Thank you! 😘
