Brilliant place like all haka houses are! Very clean and huge kitchen area, nice lounge area as well! Toilets were clean. Only downside is that there is advertised private parking but when I got there the car park was full with about 6 cars in it! This means you have to either park on the street or go up a huge hill and park outside houses just to get to your car! Wasn’t made clear.
Very convenient, with an oven, microwave, and refrigerator, all fully equipped. It was a bit chilly at night, but the electric heater was very effective. It's right on the road. Dunedin is busier than Oamaru, and the beach is just a three-minute drive away, giving it a whirlwind vibe. It's a bit far from the city and Dunedin Train Station, a 25-minute walk. I highly recommend visiting the Otago Peninsula; the drive is incredibly beautiful! The Albatross Centre is a 40-minute drive from the top of the mountain.
Location was honestly excellent and unbeatable, it’s right next to a bus stop where coaches pick you up for the Milford sound day tour. It’s also a short walk to the steamer wharf area, <5 mins. The girls at the reception were friendly. We had no issues with only being able to access the room after 2pm. The room itself was cosy. This seems to be one of the only rooms with a king bed and private toilet - it’s called Lucy’s room. However, it was really dusty - see the dust we cleaned off the window ledge. I am allergic to dust, so I had to wipe it down myself.. There is a pub nearby so music can be heard all the way till 3/4am on Saturday night, so not recommended if you are a light sleeper. We had a quieter night on Sunday though! If I could do it again, I would have topped up the $50-$60 to book Crowne Plaza, which was also in an equally prime spot.
Leviathan Hotel is a classic hotel with a nice interior of the common areas (wooden stairs, old fashioned furniture etc.) and an old style elevator and keys for the doors. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My rooms is in the small side and if your want a super new and spotless hotel this one is a little bit old and worn which is part of its charm.
Located in Cromwell, Falcons Nest is in a rural location, within a 5-minute drive of Wooing Tree Vineyard and Highlands Motorsport Park. This guesthouse is 1.2 mi (1.9 km) from Mt Difficulty Wines and 1.9 mi (3.1 km) from Paintball Central.
Take in the views from a terrace and a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access. This guesthouse also features a television in a common area, tour/ticket assistance, and a picnic area.
Featured amenities include luggage storage, laundry facilities, and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Make yourself at home in one of the 6 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms with showers are provided.
The location is really convenient, the staff is very friendly, and they can help you organize a map of free parking locations. Unfortunately, the kitchen is located in the basement, which is a bit inconvenient. Occasionally there are strange noises in the middle of the night, but you can't change rooms. 🥲🥲🥲
Cleanliness and facilities are average. The bathroom needs to be improved. There is a strong smell when I open the door. I need to open the door to let the air circulate to feel better. Other services and location are very satisfactory. There is a very beautiful beach nearby.
Wooden house, walk up and sloppy, have to be light. There is no separate toilet, about two or three houses share a toilet plus a bathroom.
The facilities in the house are cute and have a heart. Check in according to the password, it will be troublesome to miss the email. . Anyway, I was looking for a long time. The single bed is very narrow and foreign countries are the same.
A large motel, the hotel grounds are a large park. There is a large lawn and a rugby field. very quiet. We live in a separate area. The room is not big and can accommodate 2-3 people. There is a public kitchen, which is large and cooking is no problem. There are dedicated public toilets and bathrooms, only hotel guests have keys, one minute's walk from the room. There is a medium-sized supermarket 5 minutes' walk away. It is a 10-minute walk from the town center, less than 20 kilometers from Queenstown, and a 20-minute drive. Compared with the same housing price in Queenstown, it is half cheaper.
