Our stay was absolutely delightful! As the hotel had only been open for a few days, everything felt incredibly new and fresh, from the ambiance to all the facilities. The breakfast was a winner – absolutely delicious with a fantastic array of authentic local Indonesian dishes. It's also very kid-friendly, with a playground that kept the children excited and entertained. Just a couple of minor points for consideration: the room amenities service might still be in its initial adaptation phase (for example, initially only one toothbrush was provided in the room) and the TV isn't a Smart TV yet. However, these are completely understandable for a newly opened hotel and didn't detract from our comfort at all. Overall, it was a very satisfying and highly recommended experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Exceeded my expectations! The location is super convenient, close to both business areas and attractions. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bedding was as soft as ever, making it incredibly easy to sleep. The service was thoughtful; I felt warmth and smiles from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was abundant, offering both international cuisine and authentic Indonesian flavors. The pool had an expansive view, perfect for gazing at the city skyline. Suitable for both business and leisure.

Great hotel for families with young kids - big heated pool with giant water slides. Breakfast has all kinds of Indonesian, Asian ans western choices. The stay comes with complimentary family photo session where you get one free printed photo with frame and you can pay for additional digital photos. The photographer is great with kids and very patient. Will come back!

I had a very pleasant stay at Golden Tulip Holland Batu. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and there are plenty of TV channels to choose from. A special mention to Miss Fitri, who helped me with check-in. She was very kind, professional, and welcoming, and made the arrival experience especially smooth. The hotel staff in general are amazing and clearly do a great job. The breakfast also offers a wide variety of options, so there is something for everyone. The spa area is excellent, especially the jacuzzi and sauna — a great place to relax after exploring Batu. A few things could be improved: - On Friday and Saturday evenings, the live music at the lobby restaurant can be quite loud and is clearly audible from the rooms. Thankfully, it usually ends around 10 PM. - There is some kind of background noise in the room 24/7 that I couldn't identify. It sounds somewhat like a distant/remote vacuum cleaner and can be noticeable when the room is otherwise quiet. - The bed blanket could be a little thicker and warmer, especially considering the cooler temperatures at night in Batu. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The excellent staff, good rooms, great spa facilities, and varied breakfast made it a very positive experience. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Second stay here and the consistency is solid. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained — no drop in standards compared to my first visit. Service was smooth throughout. Special thanks to Joan for handling both check-in and check-out efficiently and professionally. Quick, clear, and hassle-free. Location is very convenient with easy access to nearby amenities and transport. We had a meal in Nishimura  is decent — not over the top, but reliable and well-managed. Overall, a dependable hotel that delivers consistently. Would return again.

amazing, relax place... very nice staff .... and the villa is great there is private pool and one staff accompany us everyday (they stay in little house close with us so 24 hours take care of us) very luxury we got breakfast and dinner for 4 person... and there is afternoon tea so delicious😍😍😘 there is swimming pool for together close with fitness centre, bowling, table tennis, painting for children, bilyard... and there will be padel court too if your family loves basketball, tennis, cycling we can borrow all from them... really want go there anymore

This is definitely the hotel to stay at in Surabaya. It's right in the city center, very close to all the major malls and supermarkets. The hotel offers Chinese-speaking service, and there's a wide variety of food. The environment is well worth the price.

Wonderful stay at Ascott Waterplace Surabaya – highly recommend! We had a fantastic stay at Ascott Waterplace Surabaya and couldn’t have asked for more. Location is unbeatable. Right on the waterfront with easy access to Pakuwon Mall and plenty of restaurants nearby. Everything felt convenient, and the view from the apartment was stunning, especially at night. The apartment was spotless and very clean throughout our stay. Housekeeping was thorough, and the space felt fresh, comfortable, and well-maintained from day one. A huge thank you to the staff for making it extra special. We mentioned it was my little girl’s birthday, and they went out of their way to prepare a lovely surprise for her. It was such a thoughtful touch that made her day and ours. The team was consistently helpful, friendly, and quick to assist with anything we needed. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place in Surabaya with staff who genuinely care, Ascott Waterplace is it. We’ll definitely be back. Hotel Majapahit Surabaya MGallery is absolutely stunning, though it might be a bit spooky if you're staying alone. Considering how long it's been around, the service and facility maintenance are quite decent. Breakfast: The food quality is good, with a wider variety compared to hotels in Bali, and it's not just typical 'Western' fare. Cleanliness: There are a few minor details that could be cleaner, but it's not a deal-breaker. Facilities: The power outlets seem to be British standard. There's one adapter in the room that can convert to European standard. I recommend bringing a power strip as one outlet won't be enough. Also, the outlets by the desk are linked to the master switch by the bed, so they lose power when you turn it off (this is crucial to remember). I suggest using the outlets near the floor by the bathroom door, as they are not connected to the master switch.

My overall stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Surabaya was excellent. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center, with easy access to restaurants, shopping malls, and attractions. The hotel itself is modern and comfortable, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds, ensuring a good night's rest after checking in. The staff were very friendly, warm, and proactive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Western, Chinese, and local specialties, all of good quality. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with a swimming pool and gym, making it suitable for both business travelers and tourists. Overall, it's a highly recommended hotel. Its location, room comfort, and service are all major advantages, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Surabaya.
