4-Star Hotels in Shaanxi, China

Hotel had an absolutely amazing view of the bell tower from our room. The twin room had the best view so we opted for that instead of our usual Kingbed. We were celebrating wife's birthday so staff had kindly put baloons and petals on the bed. Laundry area is available for self service. Complimentary cold water bottles available in reception as soon as you walk in which is great during the summer heatwave. We are muslim so had a small selection of food options for breakfast but was enough to start our day. The only let down was that our bedsheets were not changed during our 3 night stay. Housekeeping tidied up and emptied the bins, replaced towels etc but would have been great if the sheets were also changed out (nights can get hot in China fresh bedsheets are always appreciated!)

Facilities: This B&B is a real gem, and it's popular with foreign guests 🌙. Cleanliness: Super clean! Every nook and cranny was spotless 😊. Ambiance: I absolutely loved the vibe, my only minor gripe is that the room was a bit on the small side 🤫. Service: The service was fantastic across the board—from the front desk staff to the cleaning crew and even the gentleman serving breakfast, everyone was great 👍. Location: The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and the city square 🤩. The hotel also offered complimentary coffee ☕️ and wine 🍷. Even though I couldn't enjoy them because I was with my child 🥹, I really appreciated the overall atmosphere. In a city as historic as Xi'an, there are so many hotels, but it's nice to experience a B&B for a different kind of stay 😊👍.

Choosing this Country Inn & Suites by Radisson for my trip to Xi'an was such a smart decision! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect, right next to the Dachaishi subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient. You can easily reach popular attractions like the Bell and Drum Tower and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda without any hassle, saving a lot of travel time. The surrounding area has everything you need for dining, entertainment, and a strong local vibe. Stepping into the hotel, the lobby's minimalist yet artistic design immediately catches your eye. The rooms are spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding is soft and skin-friendly. Paired with natural essential oil toiletries, I had a wonderful night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive; not only did they handle check-in quickly, but they also thoughtfully recommended sightseeing routes and local delicacies. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. Whether for business or leisure, this is my top choice for accommodation in Xi'an, and I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit!

The hotel lobby is designed with a touch of luxury and sophistication. Upon arrival, I was greeted with complimentary iced drinks, and the sour plum juice was wonderfully refreshing and thirst-quenching. The front desk staff, N, handled my check-in with excellent organization and incredible efficiency. For check-out, they skipped the room inspection and immediately refunded my deposit without any delay. Overall, the experience was fantastic. I'll definitely be choosing this hotel again when I visit Xi'an in the future! It was really good. Thumbs up! 👍

Facilities: Very complete. The shower and toilet are separate, and quite a distance from the sink, which makes the space very convenient. The hairdryer and hot water work exceptionally well. Hygiene: Pretty good, both in the room and the restaurant. Environment: Located in a bustling area, very close to the Bell Tower and the Grand Tang Everbright City. If you're heading to SEG Plaza, drive up the spiral parking tower to the eleventh floor, then take the express elevator down to the first floor. Enter through the front of the mall and experience Asia's longest indoor escalator – it's quite something. Service: Very polite and attentive. They upgraded our room to keep us on the same floor for convenience. The breakfast selection is extensive.

Overall, the hotel was excellent. First off, the location is unbeatable. There are so many attractions nearby, making it super easy to visit places like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi History Museum, and Datang Everbright City over a few days. The back exit even leads directly to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is incredibly convenient. I was also pleasantly surprised by how good the soundproofing was. I was on the second floor facing the street and was worried about noise, but with the curtains drawn at night, I could barely hear anything from the road. Breakfast was also very good. While it can't compare to a five-star hotel, the variety was as extensive as possible, and the hot dishes were of great quality. The mini roujiamo (meat burgers) were delicious, and the staff serving them were very friendly.

Very convenient location with bell tower and famous streets like Hui Min Jie all within walking distance. It is also near to metro lines. The room is also comfortable and modern. Amenities wise, just note that not all rooms come with a refrigerator. Value for money and had a wonderful stay at the hotel.

I checked in early in the afternoon, and the moment I opened the door, I just wanted to take pictures. Wow. The sunlight streaming through the curtains was so warm and inviting. Combined with how clean and tidy the room was, my first thought was, 'I definitely made the right choice.' The facilities and equipment were quite new, but most importantly, everything was spotless. On the table was a copy of 'Ordinary World,' which I'd love to own. The front desk even offered to mail me a new set. After soaking up some sun and resting for a bit, I went down to the front desk to ask for travel tips. Following their advice, I visited one spot after another without having to backtrack. Both the sightseeing and the food were great. It was a really enjoyable trip.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, with Metro Line 2 right nearby, placing it in Xi'an's main urban commercial district. This makes it incredibly convenient for dining, sightseeing, and shopping. On the first day, I booked a room with a large window, but I was planning to check out the next day due to outdated facilities. However, when I spoke to a staff member on the second day, they moved me to a newly renovated room on the 4th floor (renovated in 2022). I was quite satisfied and promptly rebooked to stay for another four nights. The housekeeping staff from the 'Shuyuan Gate' team even proactively wiped down my luggage while cleaning. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
