The room was spotless, and the beds were really comfortable with soft linen. The hotel environment was also very pleasant. The breakfast spread in the morning offered a decent variety, including Chinese options. It was pretty standard fare, but overall, it was a solid stay.

Love the very convenient location right in the middle of Via Etnea, walking distances to most of the major attractions. Front Office is warm and very helpful in providing us with information and map upon checking in. Room was great and very comfortable. We were an hour early for check-in, and the room we booked wasn't available then. Instead, we got a surprise to be able to check-in into a bigger room. Breakfast is fabulous with lots of choices. Highly recommended. The property is right opposite the Rinascente departmental store. Before careful if you are claiming VAT refund. My tax refund of over 200 euros was disallowed as the tax refund form prepared by them deliberately omitted the last digit of my passport number.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre and is located in the heart of the city centre. I would like to point out that I was surprised by the kindness and availability of all the staff, no one excluded, which is not expected.

The location is great, I'd say it's pretty central, and for a four-star hotel, the price is quite affordable (they even have single rooms). However, the facilities are a bit basic. The soundproofing between rooms isn't great (my advice: bring earplugs!). They do provide disposable slippers. The front desk staff are friendly. It seems like there are two people who clean the rooms; one of them was very meticulous, tidying up my desk and pajamas, which was a nice touch 😋. The breakfast is a simple Western-style meal, and the taste is decent.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We regretted not staying longer. The hotel is incredibly beautiful, with a rich history, and it really shows. The pool is wonderful for swimming and sunbathing. The view from our balcony was stunning. The room cleaning was excellent. The breakfast was good, with everything you need: eggs, pastries, yogurt, a selection of cheese and cold meats, fruit, and coffee. The hotel grounds are spacious, perfect for strolling and sitting in the beautiful garden. We would love to come back again. A slight downside is the hotel's location is a bit far from the historic center, a 30-40-minute walk, but the advantage of the location is that it's quiet at night, and the area is peaceful and safe.

The price is very high. The surrounding environment is beautiful... It is the seaside in 5 minutes. The hotel is decorated with ocean wind. The overall style is very special. If you go to Sicily to promote this hotel 😁😁

First and foremost, a 4-star hotel should have an insulation system. We basically could even hear the room next door opening their luggage.. awful. Apart from that (which is a big minus), the pool is cool, parking is free, staff friendly, breakfast decent. Food options are pricey and limited.

The hotel itself feels like a palace, with its decor, furniture, and décor reminiscent of a Norman palace. The front desk said it was built during the same period. The hotel's location is fantastic, right near the Quattro Canto. The room was spacious, with unique, antique windows. The bathroom had a shower in the tub, typical of a traditional four-star hotel. The breakfast was hearty, and the hotel's own restaurant and bar were upscale and reasonably priced. The staff was professional and attentive. Because my child had online classes, the front desk was especially kind and checked me in immediately after the room was cleaned, an hour earlier than the hotel's stated check-in time. This is quite rare in European hotels, which generally adhere to strict rules.

MMike_travelHotel located right next to the funicular to Taormina. The rooms are simple and slightly dated but perfectly adequate for one night. The hotel has a very nice view of the sea. Free parking is not easy in high season (high traffic area).

AAurora PietrosantiMy companion and I wanted to give a trip to Sicilia, Palermo, Agrigento and Catania. At Agrigento was impossible not to go to see the Valle dei Templi, so we chose this hotel, we were enthusiastic about all the points, the structure is excellent but perhaps the people working on it are the most, They were very kind and very friendly. They knew to answer any question with expertise, and then the dinner, which I could say, great, I didn't imagine the restaurant of a hotel was like that! The care in the pieces served is certainly 10, they have a cook or cook beyond any expectation, I repeat not only in cooking, but in serving, advising, telling and explaining the pieces, It was not only good food but also aware that the gentlemen of the servicemen had been able to tell simple foods. In the future we will come back to you

IIntravenousNot a hotel, more like a Bnb with limited service October 2025 We booked Mia Terra expecting a hotel — but it turned out to be more of a one-man bed and breakfast. From the start, nothing went smoothly. We had decided to take up the host’s offer of an airport shuttle (not cheap), as one of us only had one evening in Palermo and every minute counted. The shuttle arrived 15 minutes late, and when we finally reached the property, no one was there to check us in, causing yet another delay — even though the host had personally arranged our transport and knew our arrival time. The host then offered excuses that didn’t line up with the shuttle driver’s story (which btw, the driver didn’t even know our destination — we had to guide him — and only accepted cash, which we weren’t told in advance.) Check-in was confusing and disorganized. Despite several text messages from the host to confirm our room setup (which should have been clear from the booking), he had still assigned the wrong rooms and once again found excuses, incorrectly blaming the booking platform. When we asked him to fix it, he was reluctant but eventually agreed — behaving as if he were doing us a favor — though he did offer free breakfast as compensation, which we didn’t need. Since there is no staff at the property. The host promised to respond to messages “within minutes,” yet replies often took hours. The whole experience felt like a single person trying to run a hotel alone — and it shows. To be fair, the rooms were clean and comfortable, although in one of them, the shower faced the bedroom through a glass wall, so you had to shower in the dark for privacy. Overall, the service and professionalism fell far short of hotel standards. If you’re expecting the reliability of an actual hotel, look elsewhere.

GGalina EfimovaDisappointing Experience 🫣 I had a rather unpleasant stay at *Appartamenti Rosa Dei Venti* in Trapani. First of all, the parking situation is very misleading. It's advertised as “free parking near the property,” but in reality, you’ll be given a business card upon arrival with the name of a parking lot located 3 km away in an industrial area beyond the port. They do offer a free shuttle to and from the parking lot, but be prepared to wait. Even if you prearrange your pick-up time, you'll likely have to call and ask “Where are you?” when the time comes. As for the apartment itself — unfortunately, it was far from cozy. The building hardly gets any sunlight, so the space feels dark and chilly. I was freezing at night under a very thin blanket. The bathroom window opens into the shared stairwell, so you can hear people coming in and out, and even sounds from neighboring bathrooms — not exactly pleasant. The location is central, but that also means a lot of street noise. There’s a café just below the windows. I was lucky it was a weekday and they closed around 11 PM — but not without the clatter of dumpsters and shutters being slammed. Conversations from people downstairs are easily heard inside the room. To be fair, the apartment was clean, which is probably the only positive I can mention. In summary, if you're staying in Trapani for just a day or two, I’d recommend booking a hotel instead — something more welcoming and better managed. And unless you're traveling without a car and plan to spend all your time in the city center, this place may not be the best option. For me, it was an overall disappointing experience.

CClaire MLa Chicca Palace Hotel was a wonderful experience! We loved it from the very first minute that we walked in! 🥰 It has a very playful and colorful ambience and lots of light! We were welcomed super friendly by Giovanna, had a very nice chat, and were helped with the parking that turned out to be quite convenient and almost right in front of the Hotel entrance with the use of an App that Giovanna recommended us to download. Giovanna also gave us a great recommendation for dining which we followed the next day and were very happy with. Our room was beautiful and super clean as was the bathroom (sorry no pics) and the view from the balcony was as you can see on picture #2 & 3. The tree on the left was fantastic! 🌳 And on the left side behind the tree there was a Café that had the best coffee granita we had during our stay on Sicily! 😋 We spent two nights at La Chicca. The breakfast place was super stylish - you can see on the picture, and the breakfast itself was simple, yet very typical for a Sicilian breakfast and completely satisfying. Definitely made us happy as well! I like it when there are fruits and eggs and yoghurt as well ... After the first night, we took the ferry to Lipari, one of the Eolian Islands. It was an amazing day! In the evening, after a delicious dinner at Ristorante Panzakina - Giovanna's recommendation - we returned to the hotel, had a fun and long evening chat with lovely Giovanna, and were invited to have a Grappa together ... A perfect day! Actually, two perfect days at La Chicca in Milazzo on Sicily! ❤️ We are quite positive that we will return ...

CClaire MThis hotel was kinda still in baby shoes, only seven rooms were ready for guests, but it was extremely nice! Very inviting entrance area, nice breakfast place, comfy room, practical bathroom, ... Everything was super new, super clean, the towels smelled goooooood, ... We also had a parking place outside in the courtyard (sorry, again forgot the pix 🙃) Even a bubbly welcome mini bottle 🍾 with a pop! was waiting for us in the fridge and two champagne glasses 🥂 on the table! But I must say, the best was Alberto, the owner!!! He amazed us! He was super SUUUUPER kind and so warm-hearted and helpful ... Unbelievable! He sent us a list via WhatsApp of the most important things to see in the area, how to get there, where to eat, where to park in case the car was needed to get somewhere (which was useful the next day when we went to discover the Valley of Temples) ... The list was very well-prepared, everything was thought of, and we used it right away to choose our dinner place and the place for our ice cream 🍨 afterwards ... Alberto even had a Spotify list of more than 87 hours of music for the guests to enjoy! What a grand idea! And good music taste ... 🎶 Next morning, it was the breakfast that took our breaths - all kinds of Sicilian specialties arranged beautifully and with love (here I did not forget to take pictures!) - it was very delicious and we wished to have had space for more food ... 😂 I can very warmly recommend this hotel! Really! I think, we'll be back!!! ❤️

GGuest UserCheck-in took two minutes, the receptionist was very professional. We got the key and clear instructions to our room, and the wifi password. The room was functional, but good enough for the purposes. The bed was large enough and comfortable. The room's windows faced the water, and we enjoyed seeing the ferry from the balcony when we opened the window. The room also had a working desk which was good, as we needed space to do some computer work. The bathroom amenities were ample, and we had plenty of fresh linen. Breakfast the next morning was a HUGE spread. Among all the hotels we stayed in Sicily, this one had the most food on offer. The waiter at the coffee station was commendable - we ordered a hot chocolate and the effort he put into making the perfect cup just made our day. I want to make a special mention to the lady at reception. I left my passport in the room after we checked out, and didn't realise it until over an hour later. I rang in a state of panic and she calmly reassured me that they had found it and she was holding on to it for me. Despite the slight language barrier, she communicated compassion perfectly. When I reached the hotel, she handed it over with the kindest smile, and that immediately dialled down my stress levels. 5/5 is not high enough for the service rating of this place, I would give them 10/5 if I could. And the lady at the front desk needs a promotion.

GGuest UserThe hotel was not obvious for us - when we arrived, we drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a sign before parking on the wrong side of the road, and having to call for instructions. It was our fault, as the hotel tried contacting us earlier in the day but we did not have signal to take the call. Once we were instructed to the right place, it was super straightforward as Gianluca buzzed us in remotely, and upon verifying ID, let us into the unit and our bedroom. The lift in the building was super cool - for this experience alone I recommend staying in this hotel. The room was charming. Our previous hotel was a suite so this felt a bit small, but it was homely all the same. The small downside was how warm it felt in the room. The air conditioning wouldn't work with the windows open, but it wasn't running very strong. At night, we preferred keeping the window open for some fresh air instead. The poster bed added a quaint and romantic feel to the room, and we were absolutely spoilt with a surprise of a bottle of Prosecco as a gift! Of course, the highlight of the whole place was the jacuzzi in the bathroom. As we both had to do some work and also were tired from a road trip, all of these little touches made the stay in this hotel incredibly luxurious for us. I really recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon.
