Amazing
CcocozhengwenExtremely satisfied with my stay! The room was quite spacious. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I visit Sendai next time, and I'll recommend it to friends who need a place to stay. The drip coffee provided by the hotel was also surprisingly good.
SShangxiaofeng·ditelishiI stayed for two nights, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. It's super convenient, about a 7-8 minute walk from JR Sendai Station and Aoba-dori. The breakfast offered a great variety of options and tasted delicious. Everything was perfect, except there was a large booger on the TV remote in the room. I hope the staff can pay more attention to cleaning remotes and other facilities in the future.
GGuest UserThe Premier version of Daiwa Roynet. The room for 3 persons was about 2sqm bigger than the Daiwa Roynet hotel I stayed in Morioka. The difference in size was obvious. It was a functional hotel with good wi-fi speed. The beds were comfortable and we were each given 2 pillows. Toilet and shower area was also a decent size. Basic toiletries like toothbrushes, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash were provided in the room. Location was very good. 1 minute walk from the Sendai Asaichi which was the morning market. 3 minutes walk to Parco 2 and about 7 minutes walk to JR Sendai station where the shinkansen is located. Service from the front desk staff was professional and adequate. Used their help to help me fill up the forms for TAQBIN to send my bags to Tokyo. They have a basic level of English so they relied on their language translator which was fine. There was a 7-11 store and Starbucks at the first level of the hotel. We wouldn't mind staying here again due to the location and the proximity to the JR Sendai and Subway station.
GGuest UserThe hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The spacious environment made the stay very comfortable. The bathroom was fully equipped, featuring a rainfall shower and a separate wet and dry area for added convenience. The extra-large double bed came with four pillow options, catering to different preferences. Additionally, the room provided a hairdryer, straightener, and curling iron, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff were polite and friendly, making the overall experience even more pleasant.
GGuest UserA very comfortable stay. The hotel is close to Sendai Station and there are several carparks nearby. It was also very convenient to have a FamilyMart next to the lobby on the ground floor. The laundry area is quite small and would have been nicer if there were more machines available. The dryer was unfortunately not very efficient. Service was great and the hotel was very clean. Rooms were of a good size. Would return.
MM315587****The location is great, right in a shopping street, about a 15-minute walk from the station. There are plenty of shops nearby, making it very convenient for dining and other needs. The hotel uses a self-service check-in and check-out system at the front desk, and the overall experience was excellent. The room I booked this time was over 30 square meters, which is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel and offers great value for money. The facilities are also relatively new. I'm very satisfied with my stay.
GGuest UserThe location is great, not far from JR Sendai Station, less than a 10-minute walk, and the path is easy to navigate. There are many shops and convenience stores around, and even several drugstores right across from the hotel, which was perfect for our late-night shopping spree until 11 PM!
The hotel also offers a good selection of drinks and snacks, plus late-night supper. The public bath is clean and comfortable, and you can enjoy it until 1 AM, which is absolutely ideal for those of us who like to stay out until after 11 PM and then come back to relax and unwind!
GGuest UserOur 8-day stay at Hotel Metropolitan Sendai East was exceptional from start to finish. We booked a Superior Double room, and it felt surprisingly spacious and comfortable—especially for an extended stay.
If I had to sum up this hotel in one word, it would be convenience. Its location directly within Sendai Station makes getting around effortless. Trains, buses, and a wide variety of dining options are all just steps away, which made exploring the area incredibly easy.
The breakfast selection was generous and satisfying, offering plenty of options to start the day well. What truly stood out, however, was the customer service—consistently attentive, professional, and welcoming throughout our stay.
We would absolutely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sendai.
GGuest UserThe ryokan location is excellent. My room has a huge picture window facing east. I can see the famous bay with its many islands, including the Fukuura island (福浦𡷊), in the morning with wonderful sun rise view. The Japanese breakfasts were excellent especially the one on our second day… fresh grilled fish, etc.. The Kaiseki dinners for both nights were wonderful with fresh grilled fish and high grade wagyu beef plus oyster cooked to perfection. The Onsens on the other hand are just Okay. However with the view of Fukuura island and its red bridge … nice.
GGuest UserAlmont Hotel Sendai is a nice accommodation that I would recommend for those visiting Sendai. The location is very convenient with only 5-10 min walking from Sendai station and with Lawson, 7-11, Family mart along the way. The room is not that big but if you arrange your suitcases and stuffs well, it’s quite comfortable for 2 people to stay. Public baths are on 3rd floor (female) and 4th floor (male) with washing machines, ice maker, and drinking water dispenser inside. (It is super convenient to stay on the same floor as public bath!) Breakfast is also a highlight with a variety of foods (mainly Japanese). The hotel staffs are polite and helpful. I would stay here again if I visit Sendai next time.
