Convenience of Check-in: I hired a car, and the driver kept praising my choice of hotel in Abu Simbel. It truly was excellent. The hotel also has its own tuk-tuks that can take you to the boat trip or temples. The price is 100 rupees one way. They should also be able to pick you up if you take a bus. Safety: Excellent! The hotel owners (who seemed like brothers) were very welcoming. I booked a sunrise boat trip in Abu Simbel in the morning, and the hotel sent someone with me the whole time, taking me directly to the temple ticket office afterwards. The hotel has three or four cleaning ladies who, although their English isn't great, are very attentive. Facilities: Aside from one very expensive high-end hotel in Abu Simbel, this is considered very well-equipped compared to other hotels. There's no elevator, but the hotel will help you carry things up and down stairs without expecting a tip. The hotel has its own restaurant, saving you the trouble of going out to find food. Cleanliness: Excellent. For a small place in Egypt, the cleanliness is impressive, showing the owner's dedication to cleaning. When I checked in, a cleaning lady even sprayed fragrance in my room. Environment: There aren't many other shops around, but that's typical of Abu Simbel; there aren't many hotels either. Although the area in front of the hotel is sandy, it's clearly maintained and quite clean, a stark contrast to the trash-strewn entrance of the neighboring hotel. Service: Out of 100, this hotel's service deserves 120. They gave me a scarab beetle bracelet upon check-in, and because I was so happy, I kept trying to tip, which made them feel a little embarrassed. They even gave me an Abu Simbel fridge magnet upon check-out, a welcome relief from the one-dollar rip-offs at the temple entrance, haha.

I stayed overnight to take advantage of the Abu Simbel Temple illumination show and an early morning visit. The temples are about 5km from the hotel, so it's a bit of a walk, but the front desk will arrange a tuk-tuk to take you there (100 EGP one way). You can also purchase tickets for the illumination show at the front desk. The hotel staff are all incredibly kind. On the day of check-out, I couldn't make the bus, so they arranged for a minivan. They picked me up in front of the hotel, so I didn't have to carry my heavy suitcases. The room was clean and the shower was easy to use. What I liked most was the stable Wi-Fi connection. Abu Simbel Temple is sparsely populated in the early morning, and the sunrise is beautiful, so I highly recommend staying at the hotel and visiting early in the morning!

The hotel service is very good, the boss is very thoughtful, the food in the restaurant is also very delicious, and they will play Chinese songs specifically for Chinese customers. I highly recommend it. They are also very close to the temple and have a high cost performance.

The owner was very welcoming, attentive, and helpful. The room was new and clean, and the bathroom had no odor. There was a refrigerator in the room (so refreshing for getting some ice water when you're out!), and Coke was free. They even gave me a fridge magnet when I left, haha ​​😂 Saved me $2!

The dinner was good, the owner was very friendly and helped me book a boat to watch the sunrise, and the price was very reasonable.

The hotel is very new and hard to find without a sign, so it's more like a B&B. The facilities are clean and have Egyptian characteristics. It's not far from the temple, and you can book a scooter with the front desk (it's a bit expensive, so bargaining is recommended). The receptionist was very welcoming, good at singing and dancing, and gave us free water and drinks! You can also eat directly downstairs. There's a restaurant with the same name as the hotel, owned by the same owner. It has a 4.8 rating on Google and the food is also very good. I recommend the grilled tilapia and the beef stew.

The hotel is a B&B with average facilities. The owner is very welcoming and we booked dinner and a boat tour at the same time. The price was not cheap, but the overall service was good.

Because the chartered car driver is unreliable and unpunctual, I originally planned to go to the temple in the morning, but the driver couldn't be contacted. Finally, after getting through the phone, he said he would come in 5 minutes, but he didn't come after waiting for half an hour. Mohammud helped me urge the driver while looking for a car on the roadside, and caught his friend Ahmed to take me to the temple on a motorcycle. There was a sandstorm after watching the light show the night before, and the driver couldn't be contacted. After coming back, I complained to the guy and said that he must contact them next time in this situation. I had breakfast after coming back from the temple in the morning. The juice was freshly squeezed, and there were fresh omelettes. Friends who went to the boat to watch the sunrise at 5 o'clock can also have breakfast in advance. The guy will prepare it. Maybe everyone is not very fluent in English, but you can feel that everyone is very good! The front desk guy, the uncle in the kitchen, and the sisters who clean the house. The room is not big but very clean and new. There is free water + two bottles of Coke + a plate of fruit in the room. Before leaving in the morning, the guy stuffed me with water and donuts for me to eat on the way. After checking out, he also gave me an Abu Simbel refrigerator magnet. If you don't have an obsession with the lake view pool, you must come to this hotel! ! ! !
