We absolutely loved our stay at the Banff Aspen Lodge! Location is a solid 5/5 — close to everything we needed and super convenient for exploring Banff. As a couple traveling on a budget, we found the price very reasonable, almost comparable to the nearby hostel, which made the comfort and quality here feel like an even better value. Special shoutout to their toilet amenities — they smelled so good they actually made us walk into the Rocky Mountain Soap store afterward and buy things we definitely didn’t need (lol). No regrets though! The breakfast was superb, delicious, fresh, and a perfect start to our days. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is located right on the main road in Banff town, which makes it extremely convenient for visitors. It’s easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and local attractions, so it’s a great choice for tourists who want to explore the area without needing a car.

Room was a good size and location was excellent. A little disappointed because the room they gave us was in the main thoroughfare by the pool/hot tub which was good and bad. Good as it was close to the pool but bad because it got quite busy/noisy at times. Not a huge deal as we were out exploring Banff anyways. Overall, would stay here again.

Convenient location. Plenty of restaurants nearby .5 minutes' walk from the downtown. The room is spacious.

This hotel is amazingly nice and clean. Rooms Are big. The location is very accessible to shops and eateries. The staff are pleasant and nice.

It’s a relatively inexpensive option for downtown Banff with large rooms and a balcony. Great breakfast and friendly staff. It’s an older hotel which has been updated well but the common areas are pretty small.

The building and furniture were old. The pillow had an unpleasant smell and was uncomfortable. The breakfast menu wasn't great, but the coffee at the first-floor café was good.

Most things were great (location/cleaniness/service/facilities) however thought it strange the bed was right by the door to the room. If the bed had been 1 inch bigger one would not have been able to open the door to the room.

Good location, room is very spacious, suitable for family. Hotel design is quite modern as compare to other hotels around the area

Super nice hot bath! Nice selection of breakfast!

Customer service training needed at the front desk and family got food poisoning from the breakfast.

Great staff, spacious clean room, quiet overnight, good breakfast and hot tub.
