I have never expected such great service and attention from a local hotel. The service levels matches and maybe it's better than some international chains hotels. Staff are always on lookout for guests, very eager to help out with luggages and also keep a lookout for traffic when you get into a car or taxi. Great breakfast which is simple and sufficient and great views from the hotel

Nice hotel with clean rooms, but a bit dated. Rooms coukf really use a remodel. The bell service was great with a very cool rotating bar at the top where I got my free welcome drink. Location is great being right next to Chinatown. The breakfast was nice as well but they really should cover their fruit which was exposed to fruit flies. There was some variation in the food items but all in all it was good.

Wonderful experience! A hotel with a rich, long history, located in the heart of Chinatown. In the evenings, the ground-floor restaurant hosts live music performances. Lifehack: to watch the sunset on the 22nd floor, you don't need a cocktail at the bar 🤫. The rooms and bullfighting area may seem low for people over 190 cm 🤔

Grand China hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok Chinatown , is an iconic hotel well known, in a strategic junction,,, of course is not new, but rooms and facility are ok...Staff and reception team are super friendly and professional, this is not the rule even in Thailand Chinese oriented but exellent for westerners that will find a beautiful rooftop bar to not miss thumbs down for the pool , small and without any sun bed but amazing view form 17 th floor. in conclusion Grand China is a strategic hotel , just exit and you are in touristic place: or better you enter in another dimension, the 70' atmosphere in a vibrant area where time seems to be stopped, full of markets and traditional chinese activity and businesses, eg gold shops , restaurants and every goods are selled here. River Chao Phraya can be reached in 5 min walk, where you can take a river boat and move in other areas, When modern city seems to be all the same, Bangkok keep is soul in this original district, just this worth the visit

We were super surprised by the Hotel, very professional service, very clean, big rooms (we got a freen upgrade), the rooms were super quite, the windows were tinted and had a wonderful view.

Grand china bangkok we choosed as it is located in Chinatown, our favorite in Bangkok. Hotel itselve is ok, breakfast is good but overal its common for a 4 star hotel. Rooms are clean , bed is comfortable but al looks a bit old and need to be upfated in more modern interior especially the bathroom the poor shower head . a walking in rainshower is common for 4 star hotel. The rooftopbar on 17th floor is a big plus .

Great location and brilliant view of the city from our room. We got free welcome drinks voucher to use at the bar which was a nice touch and of course China town and all the street food is right on your doorstep. The room is very spacious with a nice city view and a bath tub. We had a strange moment during check out when they said we had taken a pair of slippers from the room. I got them to check the room again and then she said the cleaner found them. It was very awkward moment at checkout which spoiled an otherwise pleasant stay.

The room is clean. We can ask more for pillow or blanket :)

Good place to stay when in Chinatown

Good experience overall. However, the cleanliness can be better. Excellent service on the 25th floor restaurant and from concierge team.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The location was ideal, close to everything I needed, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spotless and well-maintained, reflecting the overall cleanliness of the entire property. Everything exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!
