Hangzhou Hotels with Bars

I wholeheartedly recommend this B&B! The service is incredibly warm and accommodating, always ready to assist with travel plans. They even patiently explained the hiking route for Nine Creeks and Misty Forest to us. There are two adorable, friendly cats that randomly appear by your door – a delightful surprise! The breakfast and their special black tea drink were both quite good. Our room looked exactly like the photos on Trip.com, what you see is what you get. The mattress and bedding were incredibly comfortable, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak. The smart toilet was clean and convenient. The mountain views are stunning, and it's so peaceful at night. The evening breeze while walking around the area was lovely – it’s truly an ideal spot for a relaxing vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Garden Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable, with thoughtful complimentary snacks and drinks prepared for us. It was also a lovely surprise to find a fresh rose in the room — such a beautiful detail. The breakfast was very enjoyable, especially the delicious cappuccino. The swimming pool was absolutely amazing, and the gym with its beautiful view of the pool made the whole experience even more relaxing. The resort truly makes you feel like you are on holiday in Thailand, even though you are in Hangzhou. The atmosphere, design, and facilities are outstanding. A special thank you to Xiaofan for her warm hospitality and attentive service. She made our stay even more pleasant and memorable. Rose Garden is truly one of the best resorts in Hangzhou. We highly recommend it and will definitely come back again!

The hotel was fully booked on the day of our check-in, and we arrived over an hour early. Several staff members introduced us to various activities to pass the time, including a dedicated room for movies, board games, and a swimming pool. While waiting for our room, the service and amenities at InterContinental Danyang were exceptionally warm and thoughtful. The room was a family lake-view suite, accommodating four people. The hotel's location, far from the central lake area, was incredibly tranquil, with no tourists by the lake. Away from city light pollution, we surprisingly saw the Milky Way on our first night, a rare sight in East China. The swimming pool offered different children's activities daily. The botanical garden had a vast array of flowers and butterflies, along with a koi and swan pond where we could feed the fish. The hotel's two wings also featured a lighthouse and an observation deck. The buffet dinner had everything we could ask for, and on Chinese Valentine's Day, they even gave out roses. The fish head dish at the Chinese restaurant was absolutely superb. Breakfast deserves special praise; despite the hotel being fully booked, we could order noodles via our phones, and the staff proactively asked about our coffee preferences. This is exactly the standard expected from an established InterContinental brand, and even with the summer crowd, the service and quality were uncompromised. Finally, a special shout-out to our thoughtful butler, Emily. From the moment we checked in, she was incredibly attentive. On our last day, we had an early morning departure for a yacht in the central lake area. Without hesitation, Emily helped us arrange a late check-out, even during the busy summer season. To be honest, when I heard that the InterContinental was being rebranded, I had some reservations, worrying about a potential drop in service. However, after staying here, I can confidently say that this is by far the best hotel in China, in terms of both quality and service, that we've stayed at with our child during the summer season. Both its hard and soft assets are top-notch, and its service easily rivals that of established luxury hotel brands. I rarely choose to stay at the same hotel twice in the same location, but InterContinental Danyang has made me eagerly anticipate my next visit.

The front desk service was excellent. The hotel's location is superb, just 50 meters from the subway station, making it very convenient to get around. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The front desk even helped upgrade my room, which made my stay very pleasant. Thumbs up!

This stay exceeded my expectations. The location is exceptional, making it incredibly convenient for both travel and sightseeing, especially the breathtaking lake view at sunset. The cleanliness of the room was commendable, with soft linens and a dry, well-maintained bathroom. The service team was highly professional; every step, from check-in guidance to a farewell greeting at check-out, was smooth and welcoming. This will definitely be my first choice again when I return to the area.

This hotel has a chic, boutique vibe, with a generally dim aesthetic. The location is quite good, directly across from a park. However, the room was very small with an impractical layout. There were an excessive number of mirrors, likely an attempt to make the space feel larger. While the staff had a service-oriented mindset, their execution didn't quite meet expectations. The dining offered a fusion style, serving breakfast, lunch, and functioning as a bar in the evening. Overall, the value for money isn't great, and I wouldn't highly recommend it.

The hotel environment is excellent, and the shared restrooms and showers are exceptionally clean, modern, and new. The cleaning staff even cleans in the middle of the night, ensuring everything is super clean. The rooms are also very clean and provide all sorts of disposable amenities. The downside is the poor soundproofing. While people generally aren't noisy, you can hear things like items being put down or doors opening and closing. However, during quiet hours, everyone speaks softly. The service is great, and the staff are all very professional, with handsome and beautiful individuals at the front desk. I didn't give a perfect score because I asked for my room to be cleaned that morning, specifically to have a takeaway bag removed and the trash taken out (without changing anything else). However, it wasn't done by the time I returned in the afternoon. Still, the cleaning lady came in the evening and was very kind and patient, asking if I needed any disposable items replaced or if I wanted two extra bottles of mineral water. Overall, it was still quite good.

Firm bed, big spacious room with no lingering smell of cigarette despite smoking is allowed in certain rooms. Received a complimentary breakfast from front desk staff Alex, very nice of him. Breakfast is good, offering mostly local food and a few western pastries but if I have to pay, I would rather eat out for more authentic experience. The washing machine in room is definitely helpful amenity so I don’t have to queue at the laundry room to sort out washing and drying. However, the washing machine is very noisy so staff should let guests know best to wash during the day or before they head out and not at night like we did as we have to paused the drying as the loud noise is preventing sleep. They can improve the staffing during day time because I arrived around 1pm, no one helped with luggage, the door was very heavy so it’s one thing to manage luggage up the curb side and it’s another to drag the luggage through the heavy door and then I realised there was only 1 staff working at that hour, and he was overwhelmed with requests left and right from guests, calls to delivery service so staffing need to be adequate during day time as through the day there will be a lot of guests interactions and having staff to respond timely improves experience and impression of hotel. Overall a good stay

This hotel is nestled by the water, surrounded by abundant natural beauty. Its design cleverly blends nature and a sense of divinity, with lakeside rooms offering incredible tranquility, perfect for a relaxing and healing getaway. The overall style is modern and chic, and the rooms are warmly furnished with excellent natural light. The specially designed lighting and color palette create a comfortable ambiance. The butler service is meticulous, with thoughtful arrangements before and after check-in, and they are always available when needed. They are very attentive, warm, and friendly. We were traveling with our child, and the butler got along wonderfully with our baby, so I highly recommend it for families. The service is efficient and problems during our stay were promptly resolved. They also offer wellness programs and activities like sound healing, spa treatments, and afternoon tea. The hotel's cuisine is vegetarian, with exquisite and delicious dishes. In short, I highly, highly recommend it! It's a charming hotel I'd definitely visit again.

The room features a multi-functional Jacuzzi, which was incredibly comfortable. The balcony is very spacious, offering a panoramic view of the fountains ⛲️ and the entire lawn, giving it the feel of a large flat villa. Plus, it's pet-friendly, though a cleaning fee applies! The breakfast setting was elegant and pleasant, surrounded by tea hills, and the breakfast itself was rich and nutritious! The exquisite afternoon tea Set B was very delicious.
