Very good location close to a subway station, with a nearby subway exit also having a lift, so luggage isn’t a problem. But you are better off going across the road, perhaps a 4-min walk, to the Marriott Courtyard close by where there is the airport bus stop which can take you to Haneda and Narita. Breakfast variety is limited; you can select a choice of Jap or Western Main, along with a few other buffet options. Room size is ok. Public bath’s pool is small but definitely not the smallest I have seen. Different staff to communicate with you in the usual foreign languages.

Great location next to the Ginza line (gate 1). Easy access to the ueno station via the escalator on the building next to the hotel which is very convenience to the traveller. Breakfast is great but bathroom is too small.

The hotel is very close to Gotanda Station, about a 5-minute walk from the station to the hotel. Although it's close to Haneda Airport, you have to transfer, which I imagine would be quite tiring if you're carrying luggage. For shopping and dining, the Yamanote Line is very convenient. You could also take a taxi to the airport, it's not too expensive.

Across the street from the hotel is ***, which I stumbled upon on my way to Don Quijote. There are plenty of places to eat nearby; you don't need to specifically seek them out. I didn't book the hotel breakfast because I heard it was just so-so, so I went to a nearby Saison bakery instead, which was pretty good.

However, the sealant around the bathroom sink was almost completely peeled off, and it seems the hotel doesn't check these things before guests check in. Also, the ventilation fan was weak, leaving a lot of steam after a shower, so I went to the large public bath on the top floor the next day. I requested a room away from the station, which I think I got, but I could still hear noise. It seems sleeping in a room on the station side at night would be impossible. The soundproofing isn't great either; I could clearly hear conversations from outside.

The room rate was very appealing. But I wouldn't recommend it; I still prefer Hamamatsucho!

I had a pleasant stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. The room was a decent size, especially by Tokyo standards, and felt comfortable throughout my stay. The view from the room was lovely and made the experience even more enjoyable.

The staff were consistently polite, professional, and welcoming, providing excellent service from check-in to check-out. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and offered a relaxing atmosphere.

Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I'd be happy to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a well-located hotel in Tokyo with great service and nice views.

I stayed at Mitsui Garden Hotel Jingugaien Tokyo PREMIER during a business trip and had a very pleasant experience overall.

The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained, with a professional and efficient staff who ensure a smooth stay from check-in to check-out. The location is very convenient if you need to be in this part of Tokyo,. However, for first-time visitors focused on sightseeing, it is a little farther from some of Tokyo's main attractions and busiest districts.

The room itself is quite small, which is typical for Tokyo, but it is thoughtfully designed, very comfortable, and makes excellent use of the available space. One feature I particularly appreciated was the spacious terrace, which added a sense of openness.

Amenities are provided downstairs and can be collected at any time, which is both practical and environmentally friendly. The bathroom is well equipped, featuring both a bathtub and a separate shower, a nice touch after a long day of meetings or exploring the city.

At breakfast the selection is extensive and offers pretty much everything one could want. The quality is excellent and makes for a great start to the day.

The terrace on the top floor has been my hidden gem: I went there for meditation in the morning and it was very nice, quite and with nobody around :)

This was my second stay at Mitsui, and having stayed at other Tokyo hotels, none in the city center are as spacious as this one. Plus, the rooftop public bath is a real treat after walking 20,000 steps every day. There's also a convenience store downstairs, perfect for picking up drinks and snacks when you get back. This time, I accidentally left a pair of sunglasses at the hotel and only realized it days after returning home. I emailed the hotel, and I really appreciate the staff's help in shipping them back to me. A special thanks to the lovely Ms. Yamada at the front desk 😊. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

The hotel's location is great, and other reviews have already covered it in detail. From Haneda Airport, you can take the subway directly to the hotel's nearest exit, Higashi-Ginza A1 on the Keikyu Line, which has a vertical elevator. Getting back to Haneda Airport was a bit roundabout; you need to go to platform 1 to catch the train, and it takes about thirty-something minutes to reach the airport. My husband and I were traveling with our thirteen-year-old child, and the hotel wouldn't allow us to stay in a double room; we had to book an additional room, which led to extra expenses. For the last two days, we switched to a triple room and paid the difference at the front desk. The hotel's cleanliness was acceptable. I suspect the previous occupants of our room might have been *foreigners from a specific country, as there was an unremovable body odor that made me dizzy. Due to the language barrier, I couldn't communicate this, so we just put up with it. I didn't encounter any Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk, so I don't know if they have any, even though there were indeed many Chinese guests. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, with six main options and other self-serve items. The choices were almost identical for all three mornings, and I really couldn't find anything to my taste. I regretted booking the hotel breakfast; it would have been more delicious and cost-effective to eat at a nearby cafe. This was not a good experience, so whether I'll stay here again in the future is up to fate.

The hotel's location is great; you can see Tokyo Tower as soon as you step out, and it's only a 5-6 minute walk to Roppongi subway station, and 10 minutes to Azabudai Hills. However, walking towards the subway station takes you past many bars and adult entertainment establishments, with some touts trying to solicit business. It's advisable to be cautious if you're out late at night. There are three convenience stores within 200 meters downstairs, Don Quijote is a 3-minute walk away, and there's also the popular Chikyu ramen shop. On the downside, the room facilities are mediocre, and the hairdryer isn't very good. This hotel is highly recommended if your main activities are around Roppongi, Azabudai, Daikanyama, Omotesando, Harajuku, and Shibuya. However, if you primarily plan to visit Ginza or Asakusa, you might want to consider other options.

This is my fifth time staying at a Mitsui Garden Hotel, and this particular one is absolutely, incredibly fantastic. My review today will be long and detailed, and I hope it helps those new to Tokyo who are unsure about which hotel to choose.

Before I begin, I must express my gratitude to a hotel employee named Shin. On the evening of July 30th, the night I arrived in Tokyo, I suddenly experienced kidney stones. At midnight, when the pain became unbearable, Mr. Shin assisted me by calling an ambulance and diligently inquiring about my condition. He even accompanied me in the ambulance, helping to communicate between myself and the paramedics. He spent almost an hour and a half of his time during this stifling early morning, continuously offering comfort without any hint of impatience. I am truly grateful to him; otherwise, I might have faced significant trouble. Of course, I believe other staff members would have been equally helpful. The day after I recovered, other staff at the front desk (staff-san) also inquired about my well-being, which speaks volumes about the high caliber of this hotel's employees. Their professionalism is further evident in their kind and polite demeanor every time our eyes meet, their patience while waiting for the elevator, not to mention their warmth during check-in and check-out.

Returning to the hotel itself, it's located in Nihonbashi and Muromachi, next to Mitsukoshi Department Store. The location is very easy to find; almost all taxi drivers know it. For public transport, there's the Ginza Line and Kanda Subway Station (Hanzomon Line), making it very convenient whether you're coming from Tokyo Station or the airport. Getting to Asakusa and Ginza is even easier.

Regarding service, the examples above already highlight how excellent it is, so I won't belabor the point. In short, it's exceptional.

In terms of facilities, Mitsui Garden Hotels generally offer a consistent standard. The bathroom and bedroom are separated by a screen that can be manually opened or closed, allowing for a wet/dry division. The room size is ample for movement; for Tokyo, where space is at a premium, the room is not small (of course, if you plan to play a World Cup match inside, that's another story!). The hotel's front desk is on the 9th floor, offering a broad view. Coupled with a subtle, non-overpowering fragrance, it exudes a strong sense of sophistication. Before entering the guest room area, you need to use your room key to access the first door, which provides a good sense of security. The carpets in the room area are substantial, contributing to excellent soundproofing. Vending machines and ice machines are available on certain floors, which is also a characteristic feature of Mitsui Garden Hotels.

For room cleaning, you choose your preference using a magnetic sticker on the door. Based on their eco-cleaning philosophy, I opted for one cleaning midway through my 4-night, 5-day stay, just to have my towels changed.

Breakfast is my only regret. Because my doctor advised me to slightly delay my first meal each day, I wasn't able to experience it during my stay. I hope to try it next time, hahaha.

I don't know if this counts as over-expressing myself, but I truly, truly love this hotel. So much so that before I left, I spent some time making sure it looked almost the same as when I first arrived.

I'm a hotel member, but I still book through the Trip.com app each time because it allows more people to learn about the hotel through reviews on the platform. That's why I write very detailed accounts of my true experiences and feelings every time I stay at a hotel, hoping they can be helpful to others.

Compared to other Mitsui Garden hotels, this one certainly provides more premium toiletries. However, it is expensive! 

Like other Mitsui Garden hotels, from 2026…. In the name of environmental sustainability, (1) they provide plastic/reusable slippers which don’t seem hygienic to me and I hated them, (2) bedsheets are changed only after 3 nights. Room cleaning was not very thorough, there was dust at the corners. I can’t find the exact photo now but I had deliberately left a small slip of packaging on the floor to monitor if it would be cleared away but it wasn’t! Their housekeeping team could definitely do better!

Unlike other Mitsui Garden hotels I have used, it was not so easy to locate welcome drinks (I did not end up having any). The reception/front desk was also baffling because it tends to be empty or just manned by 1 staff until they notice more patrons around then more staff would appear from their backroom. I appreciate how suitcases I had forwarded to the hotel ahead of my arrival was in my room waiting for me. They also took note of my request for more pillows. Thank you. 

Other considerations - entire hotel is dimly lit. There are 2 sets of elevators. One to the lobby, and a separate on to go to the rooms. I timed the journey, it takes almost 1 full minute to get from lobby to B1. Even when I requested for a room near the elevators, I was given a room nested very deeply/far away and required a lot of walking. The carpet made it challenging to move suitcases.

Location-wise, It’s not the most convenient if  want to visit Shibuya/Harajuku but ok for Tsukiji and Ginza. Not so many eateries around and while there are convenient stores, there’s currently no full-fledged supermarkets around. Considering how expensive this place is… its limitations / inconveniences, I would reconsider staying there.

I booked a single room this time. It was a typical small Japanese room, not very spacious, with an ordinary street view outside the window, but the soundproofing was good. There were quite a few foreign guests staying there, and the hotel has a public bath. Toiletries can be picked up from the 1F lobby after check-in. There's an ice machine, but no public microwave; however, you can ask the front desk staff to help heat things up if needed.

The location is pretty good. It's about a 15-minute walk to Mikane Shrine, and the quaint streets around are nice for a leisurely stroll. There are also convenience stores and 24-hour supermarkets nearby; both FRESCO and Life are good for browsing, not far from each other, and they have discounted items in the evenings with a wide variety of products.

It's close to the subway (Karasuma Oike) and there are also bus options, making it quite convenient to get to various attractions around Kyoto. My 4-night stay this time was quite pleasant overall!

This hotel, part of the Mitsui sub-brand, offers excellent value for money at its price point. The rooms are quite spacious, and the front desk service is very welcoming. They offer a complimentary welcome tea, although you can only choose iced green tea.

There's a sauna and bathhouse downstairs, but I didn't try it since it's more like a tub setup. A heads-up for taxis: make sure to specify the exact address! Both times I took a cab and just put the hotel name, they dropped me off across the street. The location is very convenient, with subway and bus stations very close by. However, the subway exit with an elevator is a bit further, but still only about a ten-minute walk.

The hotel's location is fantastic! It's a two-minute walk to the Kawaramachi shopping district, making it incredibly convenient for shopping and catching the subway. Plus, there's a yakiniku restaurant right next to the hotel that's delicious and very reasonably priced. A great experience overall!

Traveling during the off-season, the value for money was excellent. I always choose Mitsui Garden hotels when I come to Japan, and this new branch has a fantastic location. It's about a 7-minute walk to Nishiki Market, and there are many charming little shops along the nearby streets, well worth exploring. The hotel facilities are very new, and the restaurant has a cheese workshop, offering fresh cheese daily – it's truly amazing! Coincidentally, there was a charity art exhibition for children with disabilities on the first floor, which shows a great sense of social responsibility. Right across the street is the Kyoto Art Museum, a beautiful old building with a lot of character.

After exiting Kyoto Station Central Gate, I first snapped a picture of Kyoto Tower, then turned right and walked straight down the road for about 20 meters. The hotel was directly across the intersection. The transportation is incredibly convenient. Breakfast was decent with a good variety. All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Even though I don't speak English or Japanese, they quickly got me checked in using a translator! The hotel is very clean and offers a peaceful retreat despite being centrally located. Excellent! I used to always stay on the Hachijo-guchi side, but from now on, this will be my go-to hotel!

This hotel is incredibly comfortable and super close to the Gion district and Yasaka Shrine – you can easily walk there. It's a bit of a distance if you're relying on public transport, but I just used Uber and it was always easy to pinpoint the location right outside. The highlight for me was definitely the large public bath (onsen)! After walking 20,000 steps every day, soaking in that bath was pure bliss and completely refreshed me. The onsen is open from 3 PM until 10 AM the next day. If you're a bit shy, heading there around 12 AM might be perfect as it's usually empty then, so you can enjoy a private soak.

The hotel is a bit away from the bustling commercial areas, offering a tranquil escape. The decor is elegant, and the room layout is well-designed with spacious interiors.

**Service:** The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

**Amenities:** The facilities are comprehensive, and the breakfast was excellent. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

The location of the hotel was superb! Walkable easily to Canal City mall and many other wonderful cafes and breakfast joints. There are 2 Yatai street stalls that open just across the street from mid week onwards so it was a nice experience to have this meal option just a stones throw away. 

Cleanliness is good but I was quite put off on the first day when I checked in to the room to find some clipped nails on the carpet. The rest of the room was very clean so I wished they had done a better job vacuuming. The rest of the room is functional and comfortable, nothing fancy. Mine was a double bed and just note that space wise, you can really fully open only 1 large luggage at a time. It’s a bit of a squeeze for 18m2 if it’s two people. 

The hotel facilities itself is simple - the large public bath with an open air section is fantastic. It was a real highlight for the trip.

The hotel was very clean, and the front desk staff were really friendly. It's super close to the subway station, with a 7-Eleven, Matsumoto Kiyoshi, and Don Quijote nearby. Ichiran Ramen is also very close; I even walked to Tenjin Station in less than half an hour. All in all, it was great. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Fukuoka.
