"I brought my family to Dalian for a short trip and stayed at the Guoshi Hotel. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and giving it a five-star rating. The location is perfect for traveling with seniors and children; it's very close to the Gangwan Square subway station, making it easy to get to major attractions without dragging luggage around. There are breakfast shops and fruit stores downstairs, so getting food is very convenient. You can also walk to the shopping district without needing to drive. The value for money completely exceeded my expectations; it's rare to find such spacious and clean rooms at this price in a city center location. The room was meticulously cleaned, and the beds were wide enough for my whole family to stay comfortably without feeling cramped. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, which is very convenient when showering with kids, and the hot water supply is stable. The soundproofing is good too, so we weren't disturbed by hallway noise. The front desk service was thoughtful; check-in was simple and quick, and they were always ready to help when needed. Most hotels at a similar price point nearby are often small and have average hygiene, but this one is well-balanced in all aspects, offering a comfortable stay without breaking the bank. My whole family feels we made the right choice, and we'll definitely prioritize booking this hotel again when we visit Dalian next time."

Everything was perfect, from the early check-in to the late check-out, from the quiet hallways to the 'good luck on your exams' wishes at the door, and from the complimentary room upgrade to the detailed, handwritten welcome note. "Although the hotel is listed as the 'Zhongshan Square branch,' it's actually just a short tram ride on Route 201 from Dalian Station to Sanba Square, and the Xihe Hotel is directly across the street. Being in Dalian's old town, the hotel building definitely shows its age, looking a bit worn. The laundry room on the first floor seems like a later addition. The room facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is decent. Soundproofing isn't great, and breakfast isn't included. The good news is that there's a night market and regular market right next to the hotel, along with plenty of other shops and businesses nearby. Transportation is convenient, and finding food is a breeze."

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, with an abundance of takeout options nearby, making it super easy to explore all sorts of cuisines. It's incredibly convenient. The room itself is clean and tidy, well-equipped with amenities like a washing machine and kitchen. The decor is cozy and comfortable, and the bedding is so soft I slept like a baby. The bathroom has a great wet/dry separation, and the hot water supply is consistently stable. Outside the window, there's a stunning sea view with an expansive vista that just lifts your spirits. The service is attentive and thoughtful, making for a truly excellent stay. I've been here three or four times already, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Service Beyond Expectations We had a wonderful experience at Southern Airlines Pearl Hotel during our transit in Dalian. As we were travelling with a young child, several large pieces of luggage, and a late-night flight, we were quite concerned about the transfer arrangements. However, the hotel team went above and beyond to make our journey smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Ms. 孔, Ms. 赵, and Mr. 姜 (Ginger) for their exceptional service and hospitality. They recognised our family's needs immediately and kindly arranged the airport shuttle service for us late at night. They also assisted us with our luggage all the way from the airport to our hotel room with great care and professionalism. Their attentiveness and willingness to help made a tremendous difference to our travel experience. The seamless airport transfer and warm hospitality allowed our family to relax after a long journey. My wife was particularly impressed by the level of service provided. Although the hotel facilities may be comparable to a good airport hotel, the service standard is truly at a 5-star level. Being associated with China Southern Airlines, the hotel clearly demonstrates a high standard of hospitality and customer care. We would also like to thank the front desk staff, shuttle bus driver, and the entire hotel team for their friendliness, efficiency, and dedication. A special thank you as well for the lovely China Southern Airlines souvenir airplane keychain, which brought a big smile to our little one. "Facilities: Well-equipped, with air conditioning, refrigerator, washing machine, and other appliances all in good working order and easy to use. Cleanliness: Housekeeping cleaned on time daily and promptly replaced towels and other items. Environment: The hotel is located opposite Donggang Venice Water Town, close to the seaside. You can enjoy beautiful night views of the sea right from your room. Service: Someone accompanied us during check-in, provided a detailed hotel introduction, and informed us of important notices. They answered all our questions thoroughly and attentively. It was a very satisfying trip!"

"The space, cleanliness, location, and price were all quite good, and I was very satisfied. The overall value for money of the stay was excellent! However, I was unfortunately scammed by the day trip vendors right outside the entrance. A man enthusiastically offered to help with my luggage, and I thought he was assisting with check-in. In reality, he was trying to sell a Dalian Port day trip for 58 yuan. This money was a commission for the tour agency. Most of the time was spent at paid attractions, watching poor-quality performances, and taking a dilapidated sailboat out to sea (which normally costs 50 yuan per person, but they charged 260). The guide constantly pushed sales throughout the trip, which was incredibly annoying. They kept asking for more money, and the attractions we visited were all rather unappealing. It seems the guesthouse allows this tour agency to set up stalls right outside. This was the only downside. Avoid this at all costs – don't be tempted by the seemingly cheap offer."

"I stayed at this hotel for three nights during my trip to Dalian, and it was a great experience. The room was spacious and bright, with twin beds, a coffee table, a sofa, and a mini-fridge. The bathroom and toilet were in separate small rooms, and there was also a separate washroom, so there was plenty of space. The bedding was clean, relatively new, and very comfortable to sleep on. You need your room card to access the upper floors, which felt very secure. Within a five-minute walk, there's the Youhao Square subway station and a Lawson convenience store. I received welcome fruits upon check-in, and the staff were proactive and friendly in their service."

"This hotel makes up for its outdated facilities with excellent service. I'm giving it 4 stars because the front desk staff, especially one woman, was incredibly helpful. The first room I was given had a strange smell, and when I mentioned it, she patiently showed me several other rooms late at night. I really hope the owner considers upgrading the facilities. Oh, and the location is fantastic – right next to Dalian Station, and lines 3/5 are just a 2-minute walk across the street, making it super convenient for getting around."
