"The bed is awful. Moved to different and it was the same. The staff was kind enough to find a different room with maybe different bed. But unfortunately, both room have bad beds...I stayed at different hotels in semarang on the same level as this one and they have GOOD bed/matras. Will I go back? NO"

"A nice affordable place to stay. The location is the best thing about the hotel. It's located in the middle of the city and you can go to the main attractions easily from the hotel. Also, I like the room service. They clean the room every day. They change the towels and wipe the room clean every day. The downside is probably just the size of the room. We booked a room for 3 people, and while the room can accommodate 3 people, but it was just too cramped with all our stuffs 🤣 So yeah, the room is small, but everything aside, it was a decent stay!"

Your Review Metro Park View Hotel Kota Lama Semarang Semarang, Indonesia 3-day, 2-night experience at Metro Park View Hotel Kota Lama Semarang December 24 - 26, 2025 The location is strategic, close to Kota Lama Semarang, near the Great Mosque, and also close to shopping centers (Malls). Initially, we planned to go as a group of 4, so we booked 2 deluxe twin rooms. It turned out that another niece wanted to join, so we requested an extra bed for one room. ************* We were upgraded to an executive room. It had one king bed and one single bed. The room was spacious with a city view directly at the intersection. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo of the executive room. 🤭. Both rooms we stayed in were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. However, the hot water in the bathroom wasn't hot, and neither was the water in the sink. For breakfast, the food menu was quite tasty and varied, but the restaurant was a bit small. We tried dinner at the cafe, and all the food we ordered tasted delicious, including the cakes. The service from the security staff, front desk, and even the restaurant and housekeeping staff was very friendly, kind, and served guests wholeheartedly. Thank you for everything. "1. One of most famous fine-dining steakhouse-Bowery, cafe-Eastman and nightclub-Sixsense are right across from the hotel. All of them are within walking distance which is very convenient. 2. I lost my red T-shirt in the room. They kept it well and when I contacted their WA, the staff was very polite and helpful!!"

"Khas Hotel is located nearby city centre. I walked out from the hotel to the left I can go to Queen City Mall and to the right I can walk to Pollux Mall Paragon Semarang. Outside of the hotel, there are some local eateries during day time and night time. There's also a pharmacy called Apotek on the right after you walk out from hotel main entrance. There's a IndoMart opposite and the price was reasonable. Hence, very convenient. The cleanliness of hotel needs to be improved. There are some areas near clothing hanging area and bed side table quite dusty. I have to wipe it with my wet tissue. There were 2 lamps in the room one on the table in front of TV and one on the bedside table both were fitted onto the table, hence it made the space of table being blocked. The welcome drink served in a small shot glass and there was no water dispenser for hotel guest. The bathroom design was not good as after taking shower the water will flow out to the sink and toilet bowl area as the glass divider was too small to block the water from spilling out to the dry area. The shower head was fitted on top to the ceiling hence a bit hard to wash our body thoroughly. The water come down from our head directly. There was no way to adjust shower head as it was fixed onto the ceiling. Our room 318 was next to 3 Airconf compresser. Hence if other hotel guests on their Aircond, we can hear the noise so loud at night. The hotel offered a gift voucher for Grab app user but the front desk staff did not inform us. Only on our last night stay, we saw the gift voucher appeared in hotel in house TV screen outside of lobby lift. But too bad, I can no longer utilise the 10,000rp discount voucher although I being taking Grab for the past 4 days in Semarang. But hotel housekeeper was very helpful and same goes to the concierge also very friendly and helpful."
