"An outskirt paradise on the hill. Good for hiking or treking. Impressed by the Italian designed lobby. We were well received by the house keeper Teddy. We were honor to be attended by the owner Ernest Guan who make all guests feel at home. Ever obliging and “Take your time”is his slogan . The western meal is acceptable and the Chinese meal is excellent. We eventually extended our stay to join the night party with many foreigners. Thanks Ernest to his extra “wood”for comforting us through those chilling nights party."

"About the room: clean, really comfy bed. Shower was great (strong water pressure which was rare in mountain hotel). Coffee capsules were of good quality- handy when wanting to enjoy a cuppa first thing in the morning with a mountain view. Hotel location: quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of town centre which was perfect for a relaxing holidays. Local Chinese food restaurants were only 15 mins walk away. Easy to get Didi to go nearby town too. Also, it’s easy to get to multiple hiking trails in the area. Service: overall is fine. Staff was flexible and accommodating to meet guests’ needs. However, much improvement is needed for housekeeping as it was not done for one of the days during my stay and I had to ask for it at the end of the day. And water and coffee was not automatically replenished on certain days. Other than those minor incidents, the service and staff’s hospitality was good. Food: great breakfast. Restaurant menu was decent. But it will be nicer to have offerings like sandwiches for a light lunch option."

"This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I’m already planning to return in October. What I love most about this place is its stunning location — nestled against the mountains and surrounded by peaceful bamboo forests. The view is simply breathtaking. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a spring water bath, swimming pool, tea lounge, and a cozy restaurant serving delicious meals. The rooms and shared areas were clean and well-maintained. Most of all, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful, relaxing weekend — a true escape into nature and tranquility."

"This B&B is located in Xiantan Village and is one of the larger ones in the area. The courtyard is beautifully decorated, with a pool and a swing. The owner even gave me some tomatoes I grew myself. The room is quite spacious and the decor is not simplistic. I love the balcony, which overlooks the pool and courtyard and can be used to dry clothes. The hostess's cooking is truly delicious. I love the fish and shrimp. It's perfect for a casual get-together with friends when you're not feeling up to drinking. You can walk to see the fireflies in the evening. The owner's lady has a discount on tickets, so be sure to ask! It's close to Tianyuan and Biwu, but we didn't go there because it was too hot. Walking to the main road at night, the sound of frogs croaking was soothing. They even gave me dried bamboo shoots when I checked out. I'd definitely go back!"

"There is no doubt about the environment of the homestay. You can also enjoy the beautiful mountain view outside the large floor-to-ceiling glass while lying on the bed. There is a large viewing platform on the roof. It is very pleasant to sit and chat overlooking the mountain, or lie on the swing and look up at the sky. Although there are not too many types of breakfast, there are white porridge, corn buns, fried dough sticks, boiled eggs, sweet potatoes, corn, mustard shreds, fried pickled vegetables with bamboo shoots, and fermented bean curd. But I always feel that it is not worthy of the price of more than 1900 a night. One meal was at the homestay, and the bamboo forest chicken soup was very good. The housekeeper is responsive, praise. Downstairs there is a swimming pool, a canopy, and a barbecue. If the breakfast can be prepared better and the hygiene is more meticulous, it is a very good choice for the family to come to rent a building or group building."

"Moganshan Kasha Salt Lake B&B is undoubtedly the most pleasant stay experience of my trip! The B&B is located at the foot of Mogan Mountain. You can see the blue waves of Salt Lake and the green bamboo green mountains by pushing the window. You can listen to the birdsong and fog in the morning. In the evening, you can enjoy the sunset and soak the lake, like being in a natural oxygen bar. The rooms are mainly in Morandi color, wooden furniture and warm soft decoration complement each other, independent viewing terrace equipped with rattan lounge chairs, salt lake scenery. The owner's intentions are reflected in every detail: disposable toiletries are selected from environmental protection brands, anti-mosquito spray is placed at the entrance, and local specialty bayberry wine is also available in the refrigerator. During the stay, there was a fresh and delicious breakfast every morning. The housekeeper sister not only recommended the hidden mountaineering trail, but also took the initiative to help us arrange the KTV room. During the Dragon Boat Festival, the price is also very reasonable, and the price is very high compared to similar high-end homestays. The host also presented hand-painted maps and custom sachets during the parting, which will always be kept in the heart of the mountains. Highly recommended to travelers who pursue hidden aesthetics and local culture!"

"I booked this B&B after reading online recommendations. It felt good to stay there for 3 days and 2 nights. The overall decoration of the B&B has a sense of design. The interior decoration style is elegant and generous. The wooden furniture, lamps and other decorations in the room are in harmony with the interior decoration style. The sanitary ware is ROCA, and the washing supplies are L'Occitane, both of which are my personal favorite brands. The most important thing is that the room is clean and hygienic, the breakfast tastes good and the presentation is exquisite. Then there are the housekeepers who are serious and responsible, enthusiastic, polite and very measured. Thanks to the housekeeper for upgrading to the Loft Mountain View Room, which made our family of three's stay more comfortable, and also gave us tea from our own tea garden as a souvenir."

"We really did not choose the wrong place. This holiday villa has complete facilities. It not only has a chess and card area, but also billiards and KTV. It feels like it has everything you need. It is so fun to invite a bunch of friends to come here for vacation!"

"The homestay I chose for this trip really gave me a lot of surprises, and I have to praise it 👍. 🌳Pleasant environment: The homestay is located near Moganshan Scenic Area, and the surrounding environment is like a paradise. In the early morning, I was awakened by the clear singing of birds. I opened the window and the fresh air filled with the fragrance of soil, flowers and plants blew in my face, and all I could see was green. The carefully tended flowers and plants in the courtyard are colorful and swaying in the wind, like a flowing painting, which makes people feel relaxed and happy and instantly forget the fatigue of the journey. 🛏️Comfortable accommodation: The room is warmly and elegantly decorated, from the soft and comfortable big bed, neat and clean bedding, to the unique decorative ornaments, every detail reveals the landlord's intentions. The texture of the bedding is excellent. Sleeping on it feels like being gently wrapped by clouds and having a good night's sleep. The house is well-lit. During the day, sunlight shines through the gauze curtains onto the floor, creating mottled light and shadows, creating a lazy and comfortable atmosphere. It is also fully equipped with air conditioning, TV, private bathroom, and a stable supply of hot water, so there is no need to worry about washing, giving people the convenience and comfort of home. 💁♂️ Thoughtful service: The landlord is super hospitable. From patiently answering various questions during booking to caring after check-in, it makes people feel warm. Not only did they prepare local snacks and detailed travel guides for us, but they also reminded us to add or remove clothes and bring rain gear according to weather conditions. If you encounter any difficulties during your trip, you can get help quickly by contacting the landlord. This thoughtful service really adds a lot to this trip. 🎉Rich experience: The homestay also has a public leisure area where you can make tea around the stove. In the evening, everyone sits together to chat, share their travel stories, and make new friends, which adds a lot of different fun to this journey. In short, this accommodation experience is perfect and I highly recommend it to friends who want to travel. I believe you will fall in love with this place when you come! 💕 Next time I travel, I will definitely choose here without hesitation!"

"What a beautiful place to break away from the noise of everyday life! The entire camp has such a calm, serene, almost zen-like atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and well thought out. The design and layout of the place are stunning. There’s bamboo growing everywhere, adding to the natural, tranquil vibe. The cabins themselves are pretty modern and clean. The staff we interacted with was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful - even though there was a language barrier. Whether we needed a ride somewhere around the camp (which was always available thanks to staff driving around regularly) or had a question, they were always happy to assist. Adding reception on WhatsApp made things even easier – they responded quickly to any requests we had. The food was amazing. We especially loved the Chinese restaurant – every dish we tried was full of flavor. There’s a communal pool and other fun activities like paddling, which unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy due to the weather. Still, it’s nice to know they’re available. There’s also a small animal park where one can see peacocks, goats, chickens and ducks. It’s also nice to just walk around the camp. The views are just gorgeous, and the whole environment encourages you to relax and slow down. All in all, it’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and just enjoy some peace and the beauty of nature. One small downside was that there was only one coffee machine available at breakfast, which led to a long line. We ended up buying coffee, which was a bit inconvenient—especially since we could’ve had coffee for free. 🤭 I highly recommended Elephant and Moon! Would love to visit again!"
